I don't mean Lebron, CP3, Kevin Durant big 3, make it somewhat realistic.

Mine would have to be CP3, Melo, and Blake. I think it is possible to happen, it just won't. What's yours?

REALISTICALLY, in terms of it happening and cap space my big 3 would be Griffin, Paul, and Lance Stephenson.

Stephenson is like Bledsoe and Lebron (without the muscles lol) in shooting guard position. He has so much explosiveness, can finish amazing at the rim, has good court vision, and can rebound the ball. AND the dude has a jumper and some CRAZY ASS handles!

Stephenson is annoying and always tries to make the dazzling play rather than just the smart play. He is going to get paid tho.

At times yea, but he has so much time and room to grow and mature. He is still 23. Besides, he leads the league in trip-dubs, that has to say something. He ceiling is really high, I know the dude can be something special.

Besides this is all about being realistic, ^. I of course would choose Lebron or KD but that doesn't seem likely at all LOL. And Melo would be amazing too, but he'd be asking for too much money.

We don't have that atheltic freak we need, Stephenson is just that. And he is selfless and will make that extra pass when the opportunity is there. Besides doesn't Crawford kind of "dazzle" too? lol, a little dazzle isn't bad.

He maybe annoying and try's to make the dazzling play (which he does a lot), but with that said he's really friggin good and should have been an all-star. Indiana would be dumb not to resign him.

Maybe I'm not being realistic, but I think it might be possible to get Lebron in a sign and trade deal.

CP3, Lebron, and Blake as our big 3 with DJ, Redick, and Jamal as role players.

My dream starting 5 that is somewhat realistic: CP3, a healthy Redick, Parsons, BG, DJ.

I can't seem to have a dream big 3 that would put CP3 and Blake together. These 2 play very well together, but I just don't think they'd reach their full potential playing with one another.

Blake needs the ball more so he can dominate down low, and once double teamed, can kick the ball out to shooters. He ain't getting that much opportunities when Paul is ball dominant and loves to have control of the game.

Paul needs a good shooting big so the pick n roll would be unstoppable. Blake's shooting improved, but it's not good enough to be used frequently and efficiently.

So who'd you keep - CP3 or BG? I know, as unpopular as the belief is, that I'd take Blake over Chris in an instant. Imagine having a lineup of like DC/JJ/LBJ/BG/DJ... that would be a pretty imposing starting 5, and not impossible to happen. All Blake needs are guards that can cut/shoot, a perimeter shot creator (James), and a defensive protector that can cover his ass, and give some pretty slick outlet passes (DJ). LBJ/BG/DJ would be my favorite big 3. If there was any possibility of nabbing Noah, then I could live with a CP3/BG/Noah tandem.

I agree with you keeping BG instead of Paul, however that's only because he's having a better season. CP3 is still the better player.

If I keep BG, then probably Rondo and DJ

If I keep Paul, then it's with Aldridge or Love, and DJ

CP3/BG/Noah sounds nice, haven't thought of that.

No matter how you think about swapping CP3 for Rondo is a huge downgrade and I will take BG over Aldridge and Love 1000/1000 and really neither are better fits. In fact, Rondo is a worse fit cause he is equally ball dominant but can't shoot for crap. Aldridge loves chucking jumpers but can't go inside(not as many easy assists off dunks and layups) and BG's jumper is improving. Love is interesting but he can't guard a garbage can.

Really don't see the point lol and no Cp3 and BG are a as good of a fit as two ball dominant superstar would ever be. In fact, they are a better fit than Lebron and Wade. A small and a big combo has been a recipe for success in the past.

Third trio would be nice.

Scary in the sense who would get the most technicals, lol. Cousins is overrated, along with being pea brain bully. Ugh.

To quote Chris Paul, "He just needs guidance." Defiantly not overrated. You cannot questions his talent. If he was on a winning team with some vets and a respected h.c., i doubt he would act the same way. It is frustrating when you have to beat the other team and refs by yourself.

I also would love to see that blake cp3 and noah combo, but noah is too injury prone imo.

Another one would be Lillard, Blake and A.Davis. I really like how Lillard pulls the trigger when he is open for 3 (the one knock i have on CP3). really opens up the offense for the team.

Paul, Blake, and Anthony Davis would be ridiculous.

They're definitely the best duo right now. I was just saying individually they'll never reach their full potential playing together since their games don't complement one another. My list was made just so that either Blake or Paul can use their skills to the fullest. Rondo may be bad choice, switch him with Lowry/Wall/Curry lol.

Same argument for Lowry and Wall basically a poor version of Cp3. Maybe Curry would be better since he is the better shooter. Maybe.

Wait. Are we trying to maximize Blake or win a Championship?

Replace CP with any other PG and we take a step back. PERIOD.

You can't spell Champs without CP.

This is a strage post. A Big Three helps but is doesn't make a dynasty. You need five plus. Showtime Lakers had a roster of good players. Later they had Horry and Fisher. The old Celtics and any incarnation of the Pistons had a team. Miami has the Big Three but also Allen, Birdman and Battier. House helped. So did Udanis. We are fine as we are. LeBron wouldn't fit unless we dumped CP and started Collison, Melo wouldn't fit. He needs the ball. Healthy this is arguably the best team in the league. If Granger isn't used up and JJ is healthy I don't care about changing anything if $$ permit. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Well.... the title says DREAM big 3 so I'm going with CP3, Blake, and Lebron... but... if Granger can get back to what he use to be I'm fine with that for a realistic big 3. Add DJ and its a big 4.

I got 4 -

CP3,Blake,and Noah

CP3,Blake,and Paul George

CP3,Blake,and Kawhi Leonard

CP3,Blake,and Klay Thompson

I love watching George,Leonard,Klay and Noah play. All 4 play great defense but still give you offense and can move the ball.I think each would play great with Blake and CP3

Davis' numbers are much better when he plays the 4 spot, so him and BG might not be such a good combo, at least not for a few more years.

That's my Big 3 right there.

CP3, Blake, Anthony Davis.

That team would be so ridiculous. Anthony Davis is Deandre but better in every aspect of the game and he's younger and a much better defender. He's a future superstar.

Dream Big 3 is what we have minus Duds and Plus KD, but that's not going to happen.

I think what we have, just have DJ make another jump improvement wise. Granger resign and show more of his All-Star capabilities. Then we combine DJ and Granger to make the third part of our Big 3.

Doc considers DJ a part of the big three. Leading the league in boards and fg%, I think rightfully so.

It's kind of chicken and egg though, because Doc got DJ playing at that level partly by putting that idea in DJ's head.
