"This stretch of games that we've played and we've been successful has been a huge team effort," Griffin said. "Guys have stepped up and really done their part. With our team, I don't think it's one guy that's making us go. I genuinely believe it's been a total team effort." That could explain why Griffin's 36 points, 11 rebounds and five assists weren't enough against the Nuggets on Feb. 3. That was one of 18 games Chris Paul missed with a separated shoulder. He'll be available this time after scoring 16 points while dishing out 15 assists against the Cavaliers. The star guard....

The only way for us to win this one is make a huge lead in the first half especially the first quarter...

A win here would be the most impressive of the streak, because this has "schedule loss" written all over it.

Jquick, why do you claim that every game is a trap game or a scheduled loss before it's played? Are you just trying to prepare yourself for a loss if it happens so it won't hurt as bad? I don't understand your constant negativity. Clips got this one. Were playing great ball, we just have to play our game and let the nuggets worry about keeping up.

Well sitting there yesterday watching live it looked like we were a big time mess and I am thankful it was the Cavs and I think our guys probably got it out of their systems. I don't think the back-to-back fatigue will not factor in because our guys didn't look like they really exerted themselves until the 4th period so I think fresh as a daisy tonight, and a win.

PArt of yesterday looked like they hadn't figured out how to play with even another form of a starting lineup, but CP3, DJ and BG32 did figure it out.

I'm seriously not trying to be negative. The second night of a B2B in Denver with that altitude is undeniably tough, though. As I said, a win here would be impressive given the circumstances.

Luckily, we get 4 days off after this so our starters can afford to play more if need be.

Let's get that 12th win in a row, Clippers! There are 4 days of rest after this game so I hope Clippers will come out from the very beginning with all their cylinders firing and exert as much effort to win.

This time will be different than last time. We lost to a buzzer beater BS shot by Foye. That was a terrible, avoidable loss. We need to really stick it to them tonight. Nuggets are a retarded team that plays in a retarded arena where the altitude gives them an advantage. That's where all the home court advantage comes from for them , idk how this is even allowed.

CP & BG need to have a big night. Let's get revenge tonight. We'd be in 2nd place right now had it not been for Foye's prayer.

Exactly bro. I hate those kind of game winning prayers especially from a nobody like a Foye. This dude didn't even if the ball was going to hit the rim and be ended up banking it. Lmao. Smh

i really wouldn't call foye a "nobody". He's a super streaky shooter that had very serviceable years at LAC

When the Hell did this game become on ESPN! We better win handily tonight! We had DC guarding Ty Lawson last game. Chris can do a better job. Bulls and OKC and Clips and Nuggets. With an OKC loss and Clips win we could essentially get second place!

What is making me scratch my head is the fact that we are the hottest team in basketball and yet we have not gained any ground on the San Antonio Spurs!!!!!

Chris is gonna have to play heavy minutes along with Willie at PG.

We should run the ball through Blake in the first two quarters to keep CP's legs fresh for the 4th quarter.

They did beat us last year to break the streak the nuggets are tough match up. They are much better than the record they have now.

The better the bench plays more likely for a win. Need Granger to play like he did against GSW. Cut off the nuggets inside passes worried but hoping for the best.

The Nuggets were a much better team last year then this years version, even though Karl failed to get them out of the 1st round.....again.

They have that 6th man on the court that makes it tough at their house. Altitude.

@ Silasie and @ ClipperKyle32 my point exactly.

Usually when you go on a run you either pick up ground or separate yourselves from the pack.

I guess spurs are maybe saying the same thing.

Faried and Hickson are undersized but athletic and can the floor I see Paul as the xfactor. Hope we can blow them out early but again this team is better than record. Add the back to back factor this could be interesting.

My theory: back when the TV schedule was put together, the agenda/narrative was to write us off as pretenders. What better way to feed into that than pretty much only showing us in adverse back-to-back situations, either against contenders or, say, in Denver's altitude, when we're least likely to be playing our best basketball?

Of course, the media has had to change their tune to show us respect now that Blake has stepped up. Finish strong in the playoffs and we won't have such a biased national TV schedule next year.

Denver just bet the Heat so more than capable to take us down, would be nice to get some sweet revenge from the last buzzer beater game

Was hoping Doc would start Bullock after the game he had.Really want to see him play with our starters because he would get some great looks. But Willie is gonna start again. Not a bad choice since he has been hitting his 3's but I really want to see Bullock play some more.

I love Reggie's stroke, a nice quick release. Give him time to develop and those shots will go down consistently like Redick. I agree, he needs that playing time and a temporary starting would help build his game, especially with a great pass first PG like CP3. Just seeing those shots go down for him would build Reggie's confidence. But hey, I can't complain with what Willie's been doing for us lately.

Gotta say, I like the Nuggets' '90s throwbacks. The Pelicans totally ripped them off in hindsight with that colorway.

bench is going to have to do it for us. This should be a small ball game for us Griffin or Davis at C.
