Long time lurker here and registered to vent. I detest these back to back games. Of all places Denver on the back end is just stupid. Clippers short 3 guards was an up hill battle. To make it worse we get Crawford as ref. I don't get how refs like Joey Crawford and Marc Davis are allowed in the league when they are so bad. Its like they are Supreme Court justices with a lifetime post. No wonder some people think the NBA is rigged at some level.

You are nuts if you actually think Gordon is falling to us.

I do like Kyle Anderson and hope he falls to us, he's far more realistic anyway.

I've seen mocks with both players either going high or low first.

This game was winnable, but it was also losable. Denver just beat the Heat, it's a b2b, it's a road game, they won the last game, they broke our 17 win streak last season, we have our top 3 guards behind CP3 not playing. All the indications that a lose was eminent.

It's amusing how people are ranting like its the end of the world. I would gladly take 11-1 record any day.

Not that big of a deal, we had 3 key players out and were on the second night of a back to back. You'll see how they look after four well-deserved days of rest.

Media backlash hasn't been bad so far. If anything, they've actually been fairly supportive of the Clippers.

Some idiot on NBA TV was saying the Nuggets bench outplayed the Clippers bench. It's such a lack of credibility when you know for certain guys on national tv know absolutely nothing about your team.

I know sometimes it's embarrassing...................and they get paid to be informed. On the other hand the in depth knowledge I have of the Clippers I don't have of any other NBA team. It would be a hell of lot of info to keep up with all the teams.

I know we will not win every game. I rather have them lose to bad teams than good ones because we will be facing them in the playoffs. Blake was not himself yesterday. He looked like me at the park after five games back to back. I seriously think he only focused on his free throws yesterday and his outside shots.

Well in truth the Nuggets bench did out play our bench. Hickson has been a clipper killer for some time and when paired with Faried its almost impossible. Hickson alone outscored our bench and the other guys chipped in and played d.

Starters got bullied and out worked best chance would of been to have a 20pt lead after the first. We really can't play the injury card because they are missing Gallo, McGee, and had to deal Miller for being a pain. They may have been adjusted to the injuries but that team should be better.

This was the best game to lose out of all the rest of the season. They'll be motivated going into 4 days of practice yet you don't feel like you gave one away considering it's in Denver on B2B and you didn't have any healthy guards again. It's not a depressing loss.

Jamal and Collison get back and maybe JJ gets close with this week of practice. It's almost a blessing to lose and get that streak out of the way before final run. We might not lose another game before POs.

They have to lose sometime... I'd rather it be when they're hobbled, tired and missing players on a back to back night. At least it wasn't full strength at home.

The streak was fun while it lasted. Let's start a new one on Saturday. Hopefully we get JC and DC back by then. Plenty of time to rest and regroup.

I know they were working out Bobby Brown a week or so ago, I wonder if they're going to add another 2 for the post season. Not so sure I want to see Willie Green out there airballing everything.

I can imagine Doc telling the players before the game. "This will be a scrimmage against the Nuggets. Just work on your shots CP and Blake, just work on your 14' and free throw. The rest of you, enjoy your five days off." Jocking for position in the playoffs is fine but more importantly to him is staying healthy, improve team game, and be well rested.

Comparing missing your top 3 guards and top 5 scoreers

to losing Gallo and Mcgee is ridiculous. Bro just stop...

Losing McGee isn't that big of a deal when you still have JJ Hickson. IJS

Collison, Green, Barnes, Granger, Dudley and Bullock would all see postseason minutes at shooting-guard before Bobby Brown would... and rightly so.

Yet to see a perfect game from CP, sure he scored a bunch but 7assists, 6 turnovers is not his usual standard of play. Come to think there has not been a lot of games where we have lose when CP gets close to or over 30pts. With BG putting in his season average I would attribute this lose to a short of quality backup/support

Bro you can't be serious... We can definitely play the "injury card" cause we had almost every guard injured what are u talking about? You can't even compare Collisons, Redicks, and Crawfords impact for the Clippers to the impact that Gallinari and McGee would bring to the Nuggets. Gallinari is nothing special and McGee would just land himself on shaqtin a fool.

We were hurting with less shooting firepower, and more importantly fresh legs.

I mean come on, Willie Green was playing point guard for us.... Lol jokes man

He is far from a playmaker. Only other 2 playmakers that are guards were injured. Off a back to back as well in mile high city.

5th game in a week, 2nd of a back-2-back in Denver. Limited guard play and short bench. I'm proud of the performance and proud of Blake's ft shooting. I can see us winning the next 5 games. We still have a game vs OKC and they have 1 left vs San Antonio. We're still in play for the #2 seed.

For once I feel okay about a loss. We competed hard for most of the game despite as others said, having everything possible stacked against us.

  1. Missing 3 of our top 4 guards.

  2. In Denver on a B2B, didn't even arrive to hotel until after 4 AM. Denver/Utah is the hardest place to play coming off a B2B home game like that.

  3. After playing 5 games in a week with little rest and no practice.

  4. Horrible reffing.

This was the epitome of a schedule loss. When you win 11 in a row, you earn the right to lose a game here and there. I said all year that we need one big win streak to make up some ground and we got it at the right time when the Rockets had started pulling away. Now what we have to do is start another win streak of at least 5-6 games to catch OKC. If we lock in the 2 seed and hold.. I'll be ecstatic.

Just made note we are not the only team facing injuries. Giving credit to that team because they have loss key rotation players and are a bad match up and fought hard. Give them credit for not rolling over and blatant tanking with key player losses has nothing to do with our team on their effort.

Again I was giving credit to the opponent in general for fighting hard while having an injury prone season as well. People can try to discredit the injured players on the Nuggets team all you want but those guys brought a respective playoff talent to an already good team.

Yes we had injuries but it was going to be a hard one to win regardless. Back to back and a bad matchup.

Starting to wonder why this team does not shake hands as often after losses as they do with wins. May missed a few but felt the Nuggets were due for props on the win. May have missed it.

3 Reasons:

1) 2nd night of a B2B

2) missing 3 of our main guards

3) altitude

all these can affect on how you lift your arms or your mental state of shaking hands.

haha, sorry. I think a few of them shook hands. You'll always see Willie Green making the approach.
