I thought the Pistons would have tired legs on their second night of a back-to-back. They're giving the Clippers a challenge here.

CP with a bucket and an and-1.

Lol, I love how CP tricks a player to foul him.

Baffled by how our starters are over +20 while our bench is like -10 lol. Our starters killed it.

Team needed an extended game to flow. Next game we need the bench to get boosted time.

Matt had an off shooting night, but was very good on the defensive end.

Good win tonight!

Blake is posting Lebron like stats lately. I always saw him as a Lebron more than a real PF anyway.

It amazes me that Josh Smith still thinks he can shoot the 3. Every piece of evidence says he should stop, but he keeps doing it anyway. He needs a coach that will convince him to change his game.

Undeniably superb game by Chris Paul, with stellar score, assists, and steals, while maintaining a league-leading assist-turnover ratio. Happy that Chris Paul seems to have broken his shooting slump, hope this is not a fluke.

Where's that troll Wgreen? His so-called "greatest starting five in the league" got smacked by the Spurs!

This 4-day break was really good for CP (and the rest of the team, of course). He looked like he was feeling so much better after all his injuries. I hope he keeps on feeling better.

Side note: Miami Heat's loss this evening has allowed Clippers to catch them in standings (both teams now have losses of 21 each) - at least for the moment.

In unison class. I want you to all say Lamar Odom.

Our problem wasn't the bench it was Big Baby. I don't know why Doc didn't put Hollins in. Baby couldn't get any boards and taller guys were shooting over him. At least Hollins could have gotten some rebounds. That will kill us. We don't need JJ if we can get some boards (hyperbole of course) This could cost us a series. They went from a 10 point advantage to a two point deficit? Barnes was OK and Collison and Granger did well. Hedo was passable. If LO can play in the next 2 weeks sign him.

Davis can't play center...he needs to play alongside one. He looked good with DJ on the court at the same time in Utah. Maybe blake should get subbed out before DJ.

Also was a but disappointed that blake didn't do much down the stretch. Can't have it be the cp3 show all the time.

how bout that blake euro step dunk in transition. that was silky smooth. not like some of those travels lebron gets away with.

Good win. Would like to see them put bad teams away earlier, but a win is a win. Granger off the bench has been great. Maybe he can be our 6th man next year. We have to win the next game and go into this road trip on a positive note.

ps- would it be possible for the mods to include the box score in game threads?

If we don't have a center who can rebound we're porked. Our second unit is monstrous except for that. Our lead vanishes like Donald Trump's hair when the second unit comes in

this, like in Orlando. Hollins / Jordan (C) with Davis as PF should be much better. Pls Rivers try it!

About that time Hollins should be back into the rotation and Barnes with bench. Barnes and Hollins will add some needed length and hustle to the bench. Those guys don't need shots outside of hustle plays so the offense would run through DC, Crossover, and Baby ( Glen should get better looks at PF).

No to Hollins - need blake or dj to be on the court

At all times. Blake and baby don't work

At 6'10" Blake can't play center against a true seven footer. If BG is on the court and DJ is on the bench who's going to match either of the Gasols, Hibbert etc? We will die. It's Hollins or maybe Odom. How many 10 days can we give and until when?

"It's Hollins or maybe Odom. How many 10 days can we give and until when?" Even though Lamar Odom's back injury is reportedly the main reason why he bailed out of his basketball contract in....

Hollins is a foul waiting to happen. He is a machine whose sole purpose seems to be to commit dumb fouls. He is a beanpole with zero strength, and he can't defend any of the people you mentioned. Odom is done. Baby will have to do, but doc needs to focus in getting him I to better spots offensively. That might open up his game. I never want to see hollins again on the court. He is so wild and out of control, I worry he will hurt someone. Not to mention he can't defend the simplest pick and roll. Tweaks that might help are subbing blake out first, putting baby in. This way DJ and baby can get some burn. Turkoglu and baby suck together, I think he needs to try something else.

Hollins can't either. He will foul out in 10 minutes.

Baby can't jump, Hedo is a PF/SF, BG can play center only in small ball. Those are the rest of our Bigs. We have only DJ. We take him out and who do we put in who can rebound? BG. He did OK on M Gasol but without DJ we'd get killed on the boards then. With Hollins only a severe beating. Assume we're playing the Pacers and Bynum is healthy. Where do we go? Will Hollins be adequate, no but as good as Davis at least possibly better.

Baby got zero boards if I remember right. Hollins would have gotten two or three. That should make up for his fouls. The lack of rebounding hurt us when the starters were out. Can Hollins defend WELL against Gasol etc? No but he's long enough to be annoying.

Don't bet too much money that Lamar is done. Probably so, possibly not. We don't know how bad his back injury really is. It may be better in two weeks. We have an open roster spot and a 10 day contract won't hurt us at all. We have nothing to lose. Lamar was our top rebounder and last year's Lamar is better than this year's Big Baby.

Last year Hollins

11 min played, 3.4 ppg; 2.3 reb; 2.2 fouls

This year

8 min; 2.3 ppg; 1.5 reb; 1.4 fouls

That's not too bad

Admittedly the foul stats may look better than they are considering he plays short minutes at the end of periods etc.

Yes we do if he can play like last year. A ten day contract would be a reasonable gamble. He played well enough to make the team in Spain unless he was released because he sucked can water.

What is there to lose?

why is everyone so against hollins, the dude is athletic, energetic, a big body that can block shots and bring some passion off the bench. He doesn't have to play big minutes, nor play huge for us with guys like DJ griffin and big baby. Get off his ass, he does make some vague and naive plays at times but not for people to bag on him like they have.

Thank you. Hollins actually has looked well in some situations.

I believe with Big Baby at PF and Hollins at Center it will fix the

bench issues.

Big Baby at C was an experiment that has thus far failed. Nice try,

but he is really uncomfortable playing directly under the basket.

He is good when he can play 10-15 foot and box out the other PF

from the range.

big baby isn't athletic enough or long enough to guard other centers, yeah he is a big body but he is just useful as a mid range pick and pop guy and some rebounding. I'm not saying his defense is bad but Hollins should be used a little more
