Blakers Win!!! Just kidding! (It seemed pretty obvious. No slight to CP3 intended)

We were hoping last game was really turning the corner but it wasn't

Detroit was a good game not the points wanted be active altering and blocking shots and working the glass. A lot of the damage Drummond did was against the second unit and rotation switches.

This game and the Denver were really bad games. He was on such a solid run before hand believe he was due for a slump same as Barnes. With finding the bench chemistry lacking we need him to get back on track during the road trip against good bigs.

He does look different after the 4 day break like he loss some muscle or something. Should get some flow back with the games away from home or so I hope.

Yea, he's actually not bad, I remember when he exploded onto the scene with Milwaukee and averaged like 8 APG to end the season his rookie year and dropped like 20 assists on game.

He's always been able to score, he's just had issues with his outside shot, defense and sometimes turnovers which have kept him away from regular big minutes.

I hope the Clippers do well in their upcoming 5-game road trip. Another nice win streak would be superb.

Happy for this win even though most guys outside of Blake didn't seem to have it. Shout out to Dudley with the pro's pro contribution, a la Willie Green.

Should we not trust Paul with Sessions goes off? Should we not trust Griffin when Adrien was able to get by him and lesser PF's score? These types of games happen you refocus the team and keep going.

Props to Griffin for being more aggressive during the clutch. And props to CP3 for delivering him the ball and trusting Blake to make a play.

Law of averages though, he was 20/34, or 59% FG averaging 28.5 PPG over the last two games, that's a bit much, this one balances it out. For Blake who is averaging 24 PPG, it's like his 20 pts, 7/17 FG game vs Utah for Paul who is averaging 18-19 pts to have a 14 pts, 5/13 game. I suppose outside of his FT's and getting to the line you could also say like his 26 pts, but needing 25 FGA and shooting 7/25 vs Denver.

Interesting the Bucks ran a similar offense you see from the Grizz with ZaZa and Conely roaming and looking to attack like Conley.

Great seeing Blake take a 4th into control and finishing off like when Paul was out.

Portland lost tonight and are just one game ahead of the Warriors in the standings. It would be great if Clips match with the Blazers in the first round of the playoffs.

Doc talking about cleaning up dribble penetration on defense now. Seems they tried to pull us out of the paint with ball movement and zaza jumper and if we moved Sessions would find a lane.

Impressive game by the Bucks if they played that way all year could of been better if not for tanking. Team is suppose to leave to New Orleans tomorrow hope they get a heavy practice in.

Anthony Davis is on a elite level hot streak DJ and guys must stay focused.

Couple of points from last night. I had to get off this thread because everyone was killing me. Blake Griffin is Our star - not a closer , yet he started becoming one last night. In....

Continuing this from another thread. Baby got gassed real fast after a couple of fast breaks. He's doing great at keeping guys off the block but can he hang especially if DJ gets hurt or misses games for other reasons?

That's like asking who's team was it, Shaq or kobes?

Magic or Kareems?

Who gives a **** just bring us some championships!

This is always a funny discussion, and the best answer is "who cares"? When you have two guys playing at a superstar level the least of our worries should be "whose team is this" as if there is a necessity for there to be one guy at the helm. Whose team were the Rivers' Celtics teams? KG? Pierce? Allen? Didn't matter.

Yeah, this is undoubtedly Doc's team now. But on the court, I see something really rare... two superstars who want to win so badly that each is prepared to either lead or to take a back seat to the other.

Right!

Every team that has won titles "plays down" to the level of their opponents. Ideally, you would want to win every game by five points or so and save the "afterburner" for the playoffs. Mike D'Antoni, with his old Phoenix teams and Mike Brown with the LeBron Cavs won lots of regular season games by big margins and what did it get them?

As a latecomer to supporting the Clippers (not a "fan" yet, a "supporter"), I see Doc is managing the team correctly. And he knows how to do it.

I would be more concerned about the assault on BG -- and the refs looking the other way -- than not beating the Bucks by 50 points.
