Yea but he quit on the game yesterday. only 2 points in the second half.

What was that reason?

Creepy much, Big Baby? See how he was staring at Redick during their conversation? Haha.

I didn't watch the game, 2 points in the second half isn't indicative of quitting, could be Brooklyn's defense, could be that he was just missing everything, why would the automatic assumption be that he quit as if that is something characteristic of him?

I didn't say he was. I said he seemed like he was. Maybe he is injured tonight and we don't know. But when it isn't his night , it seems like it takes away his....

I actually like Minn. I watched 4 of those games. Love has not looked himself for about a week

and a half now. He has pretty much called it quits. He had 1 good game in the last 5.

Look at his stats before you come to those conclusions.

Listen I have watched 4 of his last 5 games. He isn't playign with the fire he had

in the beginning of the season and it shows.

It's not an "automatic assumption" it's an assessment from watching him

play. His body language, facial expressions, and play on the court

show a guy who has called this season quits.

For sure he impacts the game more then Love. More than most NBA players.

Inability to defend late in games and not enough adequate close game offense is actually why, not because they get blown out. If they won like 50% of their close games they would be in the playoff hunt. They've won like 3 or 4 close games all season, that's just embarrassing, but also disproportionately bad.

If I were him I would do the same. There is no chance to make the playoffs. Just mail it in lol.

Like I said, I don't know, but you didn't indicate any of that, you just said he had 2 points in the second half and signified that meant he's quitting. I don't have time to watch Wolves games, but if that's the case, then sure.

Remember when people complained about us not having "scrubs" that go off?? I could be wrong but I'd say that Dudley and Barnes would be proving those people wrong right now

This is interesting, Wolves have diced the lead down to 12 (now 14) and no sign of Love.

Remember our conversation few months ago about Dudley played the 4 in Phoenix? That's what I like about him in Phoenix because he can guard the 4 spots in switches and creates mismatches in pick and roll on the other end. Something tells me Doc might exploits it in the playoff

kjavis, you're right, Rubio's inability to score and be a scoring threat has hurt them, and their SG Kevin Martin isn't necessarily a shot creator. Generally you find few big men who have the primary role of late game shot creation, and Love really shouldn't have to do that, he should have a perimeter guy taking over those responsibilities, but Minny hasn't really had that. Still, their's the defensive side and their lack of rim protection also hurts. Pek is great, but he doesn't jump and he isn't a rim protector, probably not the best compliment on defense to a grounded guy like Love to have another grounded guy

jarca, Dudley's PF abilities are still matchup dependent, Love isn't too bad of a matchup because of how Love plays, but MunoValente has seemed to be tooting Dudley as a backup PF for a while, still, in Phoenix, he was primarily used as a SF/SG, he just had his lateral quickness rating dropped this season.

Lol and people were mad a Chris for not being able to shoot after an injury.

Rubio ( injury-less ) is like 9 for his last 36! Including a 4/5 night in LA

Dudley was a very good college PF, but is short for the position. I think when he came into the league moving to SF was the right move for him, but since then the league has trended toward more smaller, faster lineups and guys there were sort of tweener forwards in college are mostly better playing at PF now. Even Paul Pierce is playing a lot PF these days, Brooklyn's big turnaround came when they started to use him Livingston, Johnson and Williams together.

Defensively Dudley is good against hybrid spot shooter/post players, Love fits this well, but so do guys like Melo, Nowitzki, even Lebron is starting to play more like this now, Durant as well, but he's so good no one can really guard him. These types of players play can be found at PF and SF, so where he does defensively will depend on match ups; he struggles against fast face up players especially when he was banged up earlier in the year. I could see him struggling against bruising PFs like Randolph, but there aren't all that many guys like that anymore.

The Wolves GM was horrible.

Yes I know his name was spelled Kahn. Still fitting though.

Huge game by Collison loving it more wins now the more rest games at home. If we keep winning like this I could see the starters staying in LA for the last road game against Portland.
