I'm okay with this loss. We get a few days rest then play the HS JV team I mean the Lakers. I think we are a lock at the 3 now we just wait and see who we end up playing in the post season. Hopefully we get Crawford and Granger back before the playoffs start

If OKC had losed tonight I would have gone balls out to win this game but since they didn't I would have sat out the starters when mavs started separating themselves in the scoreline

Don't mind the loss after they had such a hard fought comeback against the Suns on the previous night. Guys almost pulled it out again tonight, but just didn't have the energy.

I think now that the 3rd seed is pretty much set, it's all about getting healthy for the playoffs (please please please let Blake heal up), and figuring out which lineups will work best when we get there.

It is time to play some of the stars limited minutes.. that 2 seed is out of reach imo and i don't know if the rockets will catch us. I doubt it. Just be healthy for the playoffs.

Get comfortable with the 3rd seed and a 7 game first round series with Golden State and losing to okc in the second round.

3-point defense was a little suspect, but other than that I think we played really well. A few suspect calls down the stretch, but they really weren't the difference in the game. If we'd have just made the same amount of our high-% looks as Dallas did, we'd have won by 10.

Collison is one of the biggest steals in the NBA.

Oh, well. 3-1 is probably a fair result for this season series. Looks like we're locked into the 3-spot now. Time to get healthy for the postseason.

We were tired and the Mavs were hungrier. No chance of getting the 2nd seed anyway so frankly I don't care.

DC has been playing PHENOMENAL. With a full squad, him crawford barnes or DG baby of the bench is pretty damn scary!

Actually there was a very good chance. We would be one game back if we won. And okc playing pacers suns and other tough teams coming up

In my opinion our starter should just slow down we don't need to work hard just prepare for the PO we are 6 games ahead of the rockets and a little chance to overtake the OKC. Reduce the playing time and reserve the legs of Blake CP3 and and DJ fine if JJ will play in a limited minutes. Let the bench finish the remaining games.

As Ralph would say, "don't tell me how it is going to end".

Game was lost in a big part because we got nothing from the bench offensively outside of JJ who had rust on his shot. JJ should and more than likely start going forward which gives Collison more opportunity to boost bench scoring. Not worried about Crawford and Collision as they should be able to play off each other and just go crazy with each others touches. Granger starts and Barnes helps the defense of the second unit.

No we would be 1.5 games back and the Thunder will destroy the Pacers.

That Is true. Imagine how good our bench will be when JC, Collison and Granger are on it.

I think it is time to rest some of the guys after 1-2 more games...we aren't going to be getting 2nd seed and aren't going to lose 3rd.

i have to agree with icecold. i think barnes would help the bench a lot more than granger would. granger starting and barnes off the bench would really help build the team chemistry a little faster.

Call me crazy, but I still think we can beat OKC even without homecourt advantage. That team doesn't scare me, and yes, they get all the calls at home, but they get the same bogus calls on the road too, so it's not like that changes anyway.

Bogus calls scoreboard:

OKC: FTA's per game....25.2 @ home, 24.2 on the road.

LAC: FTA's per game....30.6 @ home, 27.3 on the road.

Hmmm...keep up the good fight wink

Do agree we have a good chance against OKC whether or not we have HCA.

Number of free throws is not the only barometer of the officiating. You also have to consider the in-game context, timing, and correctness on a call-by-call basis.

Durant especially gets bubble-boy treatment from the refs every game that nobody in the league other than Harden gets. Defenders aren't even allowed to guard him without suddenly finding themselves in "foul trouble" off cheap calls if Bubble Boy's stats aren't looking too good (see: Kawhi Leonard last night). He still gets free throws off his cheap rip-through move even though the league promised two seasons ago to stop rewarding it. It's not even garden-variety superstar treatment, his stats are literally inflated by bogus officiating on both sides of the court.

It's not just me whining, literally every fanbase notices it. He's becoming widely known as "Duref" or "FT35." Wink

You're reaching. "Correctness" of the call depends upon the fan base, lol. We get our "fair" share of so-called bogus/bubble boy fouls no matter how you spin it. I'm sure a lot of fans think the same about Blake or CP3.

Every fan base would love to have "Duref" or "FT35" on their team. He's a great player. Stop the whining. Razz
