I find it funny , as much as I love Stephen A Smith , that he changes his choices so he will not be considered wrong. Did He really expect DJ to shoot 80% from the FT line? If I am not mistaken this other certain LA team won what 3 CONSECUTIVE titles with a guy named Shaq who for his career shot 52%.

People act like Hack-a-DJ only affects the Clippers. IT AFFECTS BOTH TEAMS

Why? because you can have a a quarter that supposed to be 12 minutes = 38 mins. That means that quarter went 3 times as slow as intended. When Play stops players cool down. It throws both teams off rhythm and it also shows you do not have faith in your team to get stops.

FTs by DJ. Bonus if he makes him , but he doesn't so what. Its the FTs of our guards and forwards that matter.

Skip now liking the Clippers , but tried to cover it and say just so we get past OKC.

Well. Who cares lets make them regret all of their choices against the Clippers. Atleast David Aldridge and Sekou Smith picked the Clips to win the West and face Miami Very Happy

Would like to hear from any of the more stat-minded guys here, but the last month or two it seems like (eye-test only) DJ has shot FT's better in the 4th Q than at any other point in games.

Brings to mind Shaquille "I make 'em when it matters" O'Neal.

Either way, whenever he misses a pair I see him sprint upcourt and become double-focused on not giving up a bucket. Not saying it always works, but it's a good trait Doc has fostered in him.

70% is a bit low. i think we can expect around 85% Very Happy

I wonder how high our FT % would be if DJ wasn't included. I imagine it would be significantly higher.

As long as DJ makes his FTs in clutch moments, like he's been doing, the Clippers will be fine. I'm not too worried about DJ's FTs.

I believe that DJ has secretly mastered the art of the free throw, he's just missing them on purpose so people can hack him in the PO and then he'll make them to dissolve their strategy... Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_08

I really want to believe that, too. It does seem that DJ becomes clutch when the both he and the game are on the line.

I love how the warriors fans think they are playing with house money and that they don't have nothing to lose. They have as much to lose as us. Quit trying to make this #webelieve 2014. The teams are evenly matched but we will win in 6.

That thinking by them is very childish. Any economist will tell you that there is no such thing as "playing on house money."

Holy hell... I was just watching the show "Western Preview" on NBATV, and Dennis Scott, with Vinny Del Negro co-starring and standing right next to him was making his picks for the playoffs. He said "and, for the Western Conference, guess what... Doc Rivers MAKES IT HAPPEN!" He might as well have kicked Vinny in the balls and then flipped him off.

The Warriors have even more to lose. They traded four unprotected picks (two firsts, two seconds), jettisoned key bench players like Jack and Landry, and paid Iguodala a ton of money for this team that already underachieved relative to hype in the regular season. A first-round exit would likely cost Jackass his job, and they're pretty much locked in to this team.

Our regular season FT% was 73.0%

Without DJ, the rest of the team shot 78.7%.
