Dayum! Did any of you guys see that? They were literally yelling at each other over the Chris Paul- Isiah Thomas comparison. Cari Champion was trying to get them to break and they would not quit arguing. It was a legit argument. Shots were fired at CP3 by Skip calling him CP0 for No Rings and No Conference Finals Appearances. Saying CP3 would not have made it in the 80s , but Russell Westbrook would have. It even continued after the break when they were supposed to be talking about the NFL draft. They Now Just Added A Segment To The Show On The Fly. About CP3! THIS IS GREAT

IT WAS HEATED! I am not lying guys. I will post the video as soon as I can find it.

Who cares what Skip Bayless says? Dude is a moron lmfao and frankly CP3 is better than Isiah Thomas ever was rings or not. That Is like saying Isiah was better than Barkley when he was a tier or two below as a player.

In 89 when Isiah won a ring he shot 41% from the field/27% from 3/74% from the free throw line in the postseason. Even a gimpy CP3 puts up way better numbers than that. A product of having a stacked team and nostalgia nothing more.

He is nothing more than a troll.

This is his progression.

Lebron=Lechoke

Durant is better than Lebron.

The Thunder are better without "Westbrick".

Durant calls him stupid.

The Thunder's MVP is Westbrook.

Lol what a clown and troll. I wish I had his job. All I would have to do is stay stupid crap and look dead serious while doing it.

Cari champion is also super annoying - she knows nothing about sports and claims to be some lakers fan but I bet you I can name more players on this years lakers team than she can

If you take what Skip say's seriously, that's on you. Being fair minded and reasonable are not in Mr. Bayless's TV persona, LOL. It's show time!!

It's was hilarious when he got "owed" by Mark Cuban a few years back. Keep up the good work there Skippy.

Was this just for show? If you go to youtube and put in both those chuckle-heads names you come up with a ton of videos with them almost coming to blows, almost almost involving the Thunder.

Different era different rules. I said before, in the 90s CP would have a hard time in an era of big point guards. He already struggles guarding bigger guys.

No he doesn't, and no he would not Struggle, sure there were some Big Points in Penny, GP, Kidd, but don't act like there weren't some small points similar to CP3 Height like Stockton for instance, Even Iverson Played great in the 1990's. CP3 is very Strong and play's well on Bigger guards so he would have no problem in any era especially not with his quickness, Speed, Strength, Shooting, Passing, and ball handling, Talk about Tim Hardaway...

How about naming some of these "PGs" CP3 would have a hard time with? Payton and Kidd would not give CP3 more trouble than guys like Westbrook or Dragic. Not good enough as scoring threats and mediocre shooters. Defending those PGs would actually be a lot easier with hand checking.

Cp3 has a hard time with quick PGs not big PGs especially not big PGs with no jump shot like Kidd and pretty much no PG can guard an athletic PG like Westbrook due to lack of hand checking. However, nowadays team defense is better and you don't rely so much on shoddy one on one defense like in the 90s.

Your acting like all the PGs in the 90s were Magic Johnson or Oscar Robertson. They aren't. They can't back CP3 that easily in the post since he is very strong for his size and even if they shoot over him PGs like Kidd and Payton were not good jump shooters.

Guys like Westbrook and Curry are much harder to guard. Its not even close especially with no hand checking like back then.

They had the Charles Barkley rules back then. Even Mark. Jackson would back CP to death. penny has underrated post up move. Payton actually backed people starting from 3 point line. Lol Dragic had one season and he's all of the sudden in the league of Payton.

You can only blame the teammates so much like Stephen Smith did. Peja was coming off an MVP like season when he joined Cp along with Chanldler and West. That hornets team was stacked.

I hate Skip but he has a point. Another first-round exit would be a crippling blow to CP3's legacy. Not sure he can really be considered a superstar without a deep playoff run, let alone a ring.

I've long thought that Blake - not CP3 - will be the one to lead us to a ring anyway.

Skip will shut up once we make the Finals. He's the biggest flip flopper on TV.

Well they were in three straight finals and he had a bad playoffs in the middle one and dominated the other two. Also can't dismiss one of the greatest finals performances ever (25 pts in a quarter) on that sprained ankle which coincidentally happened during the bad playoff run you mentioned.

That Is like saying Wade did great last playoffs since he had a 40 point game. Overall, he was still terrible. If he played better in all the other games that performance wouldn't even be necessary.

And Isiah definitely didn't dominate in the playoffs. Not even close. His numbers are nothing impressive for an all time great. He puts up worse numbers than Westbrook in the playoffs in an era where they played at a really fast pace which inflated his numbers. Like I said overrated and winning bias. The Pistons were stacked and they were a transitional championship team. They feasted when Magic's Lakers and Bird's Celtics were washed up and when Jordan had little help in Chicago.

This is coming from the same guy who still thinks Tim Tebow is an NFL QB. Come on, the guy is delusional. I can't believe he's even lasted this long.

LOL at this guys. Holly hell Smith was angry!!! mad

Skip was just trolling him at the end. Snakeman

They are both correct.

CP is a superstar PG. No doubt.

Doc said it himself. CP has not won anything. He has done nothing in playoffs. Hopefully with BGs help, they WILL GUIDE us to the PROMISE LAND!!!

It seems clear to me that he is staffed to be the heel on that show. The producers probably blow smoke up his a$$ to keep his ego going so he can continue to argue his untenable stances.

Actually no its not you just picked a crap example. Obviously you werent around back then to actually watch that playoffs or you wouldn't have made a blatantly ridiculous claim about fg% and Isiah playing horrible in one playoff run when they won the ship. They lost 2 games that playoff run your transition argument is just a way of saying I don't want to give them credit for winning so Ill just make up my own stuff.

The Pistons made the finals three straight years of 88, 89, and 90. You are talking about 89 and you are sadly nitpicking because you ignore that he carried the Pistons and they didn't win until he got help. Isiah up until the year you are talking about averaged which is the 5 previous years in the playoffs for the Pistons averaged 23 pts 10 apg 5 rpg 3 steals per game, shot 46% and got to the ft line 7 times a game.

Isiah won 2 rings on his 2nd ring his shooting numbers bounced back to near normal and he shot 45% from the field and 47% from three as the Pistons won their second title.

That performance against LA on a bad ankle is one of the greatest playoff performances of all time and that is not even the year they won.

Can't downplay Isiah Thomas, one of the best PG's to play the game

period.

Cp3 will go down IMO as the top 3 PG's ever, and I'd put him #2 next

to Magic.

Going deep in the playoffs has nothing to do with how great an individual

player is. Especially a PG.

Basketball is a team sport. Clippers went from a lottery team to the

best team we've had in clipper history the first season Cp3 got here.

Just like the Hornets. That's not a coincidence... To say he isn't a "Superstar"

because he hasn't had a deep playoff run just shows you don't really understand

basketball. No disrespect.

CP3 is probably younger than MJ when he won his first title. Paul's career, chip-wise, is just getting started. Same with BG. It is about eight years too soon to talk about either in the past tense. Likely both will win two - four Championships before they lace 'em up for the last time. Or maybe more.

And if the best point guard in the NBA -- by just about any standard -- isn't a superstar, then a Martian just ate my sandwich.
