Clippers should just prepare to play 5 vs 8 every game now.

exactly.............

bottom-line with or without the bad calls clips had the chance to tie and CP3 choked (FT line)

he wants to be the man to win games, well take the losses too...

CP3 really pissed me off the last few possessions (whether they were bad or missed calls)

As a player, if the refs are not on your side you have to adjust your game a bit....

All those trying to draw contact plays by Cp3 that were not called after the second one I would have just crossed over the opponent instead of trying it OVER AND OVER AGAIN.... I am with all the clips fans that the refs sold us out but our plays (except for JJ) have to take some of the blame too.. PERIOD blake griffin was out of control a lot of the time during his 19mins of play (what a joke)

He better come out dunking on every play tonight..... CP3 better knock off the little "tricks" and just play ball....

and last thing.... Spicy Curry Ass better stop the flopping every time theres a defender within a foot from him shooting a 3 pointer....... the Warriors want to call flop? What happened to the last team that called us floppers? Oh yeah 27-55 .329... SUCK IT WARRIORS.... Clippers are going to take the series in your HOME COURT!!!

For those that can't/wont understand our outrage and disappoint towards the refs and missed calls....

As a long time Clipper fan, something inside tells me this success is limited, an aberration. I've seen some good teams in the past, but NOTHING like what we have now. Clearly it's the best Clipper team ever. But there's a nagging feeling that I should enjoy this all I can, while I can. Every missed shot, every turnover, ever bad foul, is a missed opportunity that won't come again.

I've spent 30 years being maligned by fans of other teams (which at times was justified), and feel very defensive in all regards. I've also made a point to enjoy the success without rubbing it in the face of others too much, knowing our success is thus far short lived and could revert back quickly.

I alredy feel the Clippers are little respected, demeaned, and given little chance of real success (and if you're a Laker fan, it's undeserved success). Seeing all these missed/bad calls really feeds into this long lived frustration, and easily begets resentment.

We have the better team, but gave the 1st game away with poor ball handling, abysmal shooting and at times looked like a bunch of rookies.....even if the refs handled it like a pre-season game.

^ I totally understand you Diagoro. The whole reason I became a Clippers fan was because I felt like the league had it out for the Clippers. Like the league/refs wanted the Clippers to fail, and would always make bad calls against us to "keep us in our place".

I don't know if you guys remember, but it was a game against the Warriors earlier in the season, when Blake got ejected in the 4th quarter, that really seemed to light a fire under the league/refs and the Clippers, because it brought national attention to the kind of unfair treatment the Clippers had been receiving from refs. I hope the league reviews game 1 and makes the necessary adjustments going forward.

Even if they make those adjustments it doesn't take away this game..... this was a huge F-U from the league... as long as the Clips win the next 4 in a row just for pay back we're good

The only 'real' adjustment the league should make is to change out the ref crew.

Where was there contact? The answer is, in the chest just below the numbers with a forearm. I'm close enough to see the guys' fingers let alone hands and I had a better view than the ref. CP was perpendicular to the out of bounds line. I sit facing the basket. CP's chest was perpendicular to me and there was no ref between us. CP was fouled.

We are missing the point. There are two separate issues. First did the ref blow calls and second did we play well. Answers 1 Yes 2 A matter of opinion. Poor play doesn't negate a bad call. Did the call cost us the game? Who knows but it could have. Assuming we were playing like dog dump we were still two points behind. For argument's sake I'll give you the fact that we executed poorly. We could have won if we got the foul and previous poor play is irrelevant. Poor play had absolutely nothing to do with a terrible call.

I posted it as a topic but for some reason a mod buried it in this thread where almost no one will see it. Not sure why

That one call was what finished the game off, but clearly any early momentum was slowed by poor officiating. Granted, Griffin's fourth foul was stupid/immature on his part (if I recall it correctly as a charge), but three other calls should have been let go. There should have been no need for late game theatrics.
