Welcome aboard brother.
Thanks for the welcome. Since there is a break before Game Three, here is an amusing Clippers/Lakers story. My girlfriend knows I only watch pro basketball. (No baseball, no NFL until they get a team here.) She has tolerated my obsession, up until now, with the Lakers. After hearing me yell at the TV, she said, "If you hate this Lakers team so much, if they stink, if you hate the coach and the owner, and there is an exciting, superstar-laden team right here in L.A., one that your son roots for, are you an idiot? Why do....

That worries me that they will goon us. We didn't even foul curry on that drive he was bitching about. How about this? We won't ever forget curry galloping up the court at staples in November 2012 or bazemore mocking blake in January 2013. We don't forget!!!!!

I listened to that interview this afternoon. Great stuff. Draymond Green is the kind of player teams love to have. Smart, clutch, and tough. Glad he is the trenches with the rest of the Dubs. Guy plays like a winner, and I'm sure he will have something special for the Clippers on Thursday night. Smile Can't wait to see what it is.

Paul bettet stop trying to over sell fouls because they are going to hit him hard already with that hamstring. No need to fall over for nothing.

ClippersDA stop being such a worrywart. This series is already over. It's just a question of if we win in 5 or 6 (if they put Blake on the bench for one of the games again). The Warriors are talking **** in the paper because they can't beat us on the court. Meanwhile, their coach is napping instead of prepping his team, while Doc is burning the midnight oil analyzing film.

Is there any way to like contact the Clippers organization to tell them we would prefer rally towels over shirts? For the most part there is enough red in the crowd already. How sick would it be if Staples was waving red towels or holding up ClipperNation towels.

Just tell your GS player to play basketball and not wrestling. To win a game you have to put the ball in hoop and that's what the Clippers player did.

They are probably going to adjust to our trap and double blake, even the preacher knows this. He turned it over twice in a row after being doubled last game, which is a concern.

Oh and we have crap luck up there! I just can't be confident but i think this series could go either way. Haven't counted us out but not having home court is rough when oracle has been inhospitable to us, especially in the curry era

You've got to be F-ing kidding me. I thought you were just worried about losing another game! There can't seriously be anyone who thinks these GSW scrubs can win the series, right? Right??

Tell ya what, check in here after the game when we beat them by 25 again and then please tell me you feel better about yourself. This sounds like a self-esteem issue to me.

I won't forget that stupid over dramatic face Mark Jackson made when we rocked his little Boy Scouts last season.

Agreed. If we keep pressuring Curry and continue to be physical with him, this series will be a lot easier. That's the best to way to defend a soft-skinny player like Curry. If it's the 2nd quarter or later and DJ has no fouls, then he should knock Curry down a few times when he drives into the paint. Let Curry know that if he's going to attack the paint, DJ's going to make him earn it.

Forcing Curry to work on the defensive end is also a great way to offset his scoring. If we can get Curry to guard Blake by using some pick and rolls that would be great.

Yep or how he glared at the bench last season when we humiliated them after cp3 threw that half court lob. My favorite expression was earlier this season when the warriors turned it over three times leading to cp3 to blake lobs. Hahaha

you do know we have a battle tested coach who is more than capable of making the proper adjustments as well. Hell, he'll out coach the sh*t out of Mark Jackass. We hear your concerned, but I wouldn't think too one sided about the upcoming game. Sure, GS is bound for a good game, but what's stopping us from having a good or great game of our own?

I like this blow out game.... Many would say that this is just a 1 game but this is a playoff, you just can't say move on for the next game, where adjustments and strategy are crucial. yes we lost game 1 most probably because griffin was in foul trouble which is quite rare even in this season and we lose in a close game but for the warriors to be defeated by 40! means that they'll have to make a massive overhaul in there adjustments not just in defense but also in offense.

Funny thing is, Curry is already fired up and so are the rest of the Warriors. He is going to run circles around the hamstrung CP3 for the rest of the series. As far as the Clippers knocking down guys, I just don't see it happening because, seriously, those softies just don't play that type of game. It's really a low down shame that Andrew Bogut isn't around to get in Jordan's and Griffin's heads. Green is going to have take on that role more, and he too is very good at it, but it's just not the same. However, I do see Curry catching fire and becoming the poster child of these playoffs.

Nah, he's right. They do seem very fired up... in all those interviews they're doing. If points were awarded for talking sh!t, they'd be running away with the series.

Well curry might catch fire on game 3 on your homecourt but that's why they are double/triple teaming him for the purpose of him not to get hot. Moreover the clips are showing why they are one of the best team in 3pt defense thus taking away your primary offense.

If points were awarded for all the " Mark Jackson is greatest coach in the world and also an inpiring preacher" commentary by these creepy announcers, the Warriors would be up 3-0 by now. Yes 3-0. After all, Mark Jackson can walk on water. (Especially if there is a strip bar by a lake, he walks on water to get there.)

The dawn of another day.................time to read about the greatness of Bogut, and the best skinny little PG in the league (in one persons mind only) and more inane dribble from NORCAL.

Let's start the show.

I love how the troll is still using the Bogut excuse.

Newsflash, dumbass: Doc and the players already said that they expect Bogut to play in this series. That means they have a contingency plan in case Jackass gets really desperate and gets Bogut to pull a Willis Reed.

Aside from that, you would think Bogut was a combination of Hakeem and prime Shaq from the way Warriors "fans" are trumping up his absence. If you're really that dependent on Bogut, you can stop calling yourselves contenders because you were never that in the first place.

In P/O all players are fired up, it's the coaches game plan works. I expect them to try to double team CP3 tomorrow to disrupt the clippers offense, they will do there best to minimize Blake touch to the ball. hopefully Doc will see this and put DC after few minutes if JJ and Blake can't touch the ball. But our analysis is just here we don't don't know what will happen in the floor, i'm just excited, after Monday's "demolition"

You have 1 down player we have 4 before and you use that as an excuse lol!

Learn the difference between a reason and an excuse. You know darn well that Bogut's absence is a prime factor in this series. If you don't, then you don't understand basketball. No point in him pulling a Willis Reed unless his rib has healed enough to go all out.

To be honest your recent constant presence on this board has really annoyed me, but I have to agree with you on this point. Bogut not playing is a big factor and it makes me feel much more confident we can win the series.

Going forward think Paul is going to have to match Curry point for point. Blake will get his but hoping role players step it up at Oracle may be asking a bit much.

Gotta agree with the other posters, Bogut is often injured, can't really use his absence as an excuse.

Eureka! A voice of reason in this provincial waste land. Of course I annoy you. I am a Warriors fan and our two teams team don't like each other! Unlike your guy Blake Griffin, who won't own up to his intentional baptism of the Warrior fan in the front row (What a gutless response. The guy emasculates himself with every flop.), I am not afraid to admit that I am here to stir things up and challenge the readers of this blog. What's wrong with that. Isn't this supposed to be the place where basketball ideas are exchanged? Why does it bother so many here that someone comes up here to broaden the discussion?

Stir up and exchanging of basketball ideas all you want, as long as it's done with a "A voice of reason" as someone mentioned. wink

P.S.

I agree Bogut's absence is a big lost for the Warriors. He's been a very important piece to their defense and rebounding.

Andrew Bogut is a big part of the Warriors, Derrick Rose is a big part of the Bulls, Kobe Bryant is a big piece of the Lakers. It's gotten to the point where we KNOW they're gonna get injured.

Broaden the discussion? Really?

I'm pretty sure you fit the exact definition of a troll:

troll- One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument

We've had other team fans come to discuss their view points. There are even a lot of us within the forum that have different varying opinions and broaden the discussions from within. You don't come into our forum to broaden our discussion, you come to troll. The lame argument where you say Blake is a flopper is old and tired and has not business being a subject of concern while you have Curry and David Lee on your team. All you have done is talk crap and make excuses that won't broaden anything.

On the bright side I'm sure you have been enlightened during your time here.

Troll. Trash talker. Semantics. Of course, I'm here to talk trash! I'm not here to ask you guys for recipes. Three words: get over it. This is a sports forum, right?

Seems like every time the word "flop" is mentioned here, you guys get really defensive. Why is that? Touching a nerve, maybe? Griffin and Paul are the two of the most notorious floppers in the league, and this one of the reasons so many loathe the Clippers. As long as they flop, it will always be fodder for discussion. Not sure how Lee and Curry enter the flopping discussion by the way. There are plenty of current lists of NBA floppers online, and Griffin and Paul are on any that are current.

Because people who have Stephanie Curry and _avi_ Lee on their team have no room to be throwing around flop accusations. Secondly, because you are on another team's board and trash talking their players. I'm sure if I went over to a Warriors board and posted that Stephanie Curry is a flopper and chucker, Warriors "fans" would get defensive as well. Still wouldn't justify my trolling.

If you're not sure why Stephanie is in the flop discussion, try watching a game and seeing her roll around on the floor to try to get calls.

Number of times Blake Griffin has been fined for flopping: 0

Number of times Chris Paul has been fined for flopping: 0

Whatever they're doing, it's on par with all the other players who have yet to be fined for flopping.

Let's get back on topic -- Warriors lost by 40 points!

If a Clipper fan had the audacity to come into a Warriors discussion forum calling Curry a flopper the members would laugh hysterically as I am doing right now. It would be tantamount to the Malaysian prime minister demanding competence from the Chinese government.

Repped High Quality Post

Wait so first it's you are here to exchange basketball ideas, then it's "yeah I'm a troll". LMAO, dude I've never seen someone contradict themselves as much as you.

There are already videos on the forum of David Lee flopping. Steph Curry is so frail that it might just be the breeze knocking him down or his bad ankles giving out so we can give him the benefit of the doubt.

We don't argue that CP3 doesn't do it or that Blake has never flopped, but that has nothing to do with why we'll beat in you in the series. Honestly everyone in the NBA does it, you can go see the infamous double flop of West and Lebron if you don't believe me. It's part of the game you adjust. Blake honestly had to do it in the past because the contact has little to no effect on him so he has to sell it. David Lee has done it before any contact is initiated. You act as if your team doesn't do it, but they do it just as much.

I don't mind the trolling, I wouldn't feed the troll if I did. You aren't even a good troll, you don't answer most arguments and just change threads when you are proven wrong or simply just change the subject.

What arguments haven't I addressed? This has been an abundant harvest of low hanging fruit for me. The pickin's here are so easy.

And not everyone flops like Paul and Griffin. The argument that everyone does it is what children say when they do something wrong. Your boys are egregious floppers and it stinks up the game.

Warriors!
