If that's such a bad thing, then why have you been trolling on here all season with multiple accounts?

"No, we are not obtuse. Some let their homerism get in the way of reason, like my friend here, Dubnation. "

Guess that is a compliment in Oaktown.

Mark Jackass once said, "what wife?" as he was going to town on that STD-infested stripper.

Don't understand the point of going on other teams forums to bash them. Just some weird trolling fetish I guess.

How do Warriors fans feel about Mark Jackson? I feel like a lot of them dislike him because he is a mediocre coach and he is kind of a douche bag tbh. I don't look at Warriors forums much so I am not sure but that is the impression I got.

Repped High Quality Post

Well for the majority most Warrior fans like him. However I'm not going to lie I can't respect him as a man just for the simple fact he's a preacher that practiced adultery and tried to cover it up. I feel like his off court antics take away from what we need to be doing on court though. That's just me. If the Clippers do come back and win this series, Jackson could possibly be on his way out. No question tonight he got out coached by Doc

Welcome to CTB DubNation. There is absolutely no problem with fans of other teams posting & want to talk ball without trolling. We've had quite a few knowledgeable opposing team fans here throughout the years, and it is nice.

Honestly I feel the same way. That Is why I don't respect Sterling either though some Clippers fans defend him. Mark Jackson to me is a huge hypocrite and a scumbag and I don't feel that way just because of his "stripper problem" which I felt was horrible. He is the type of guy who complains about other teams playing dirty and does the same exact thing. He has his bench players try to provoke Griffin and get physical with him in hopes that refs will fall for it and call a foul on Blake and it has worked twice(refs are dumb as f). Blake fouled out twice causing two losses.

Not to mention the fact that he seems extremely judgmental(his comments on gays, etc). He talks about the following god and all that nonsense but he doesn't do what he preaches. The worst type of scumbag. A person who says one thing and does the other.

I hope he doesn't get another coaching job. The man is a preacher not a coach and frankly he isn't a very good preacher either. Don't get me wrong people make mistakes but Mark Jackson is just a scum bag plain and simple. Just his overall demeanor irks me.

One could easily say that the reason we lost had nothing to do with Blake's absence it was because Jamal sucked stump water. Ten more points or even five. With them without Bogut and us without BG we still should win.

its always good to see a good representative of teams..even a rival. its been a very emotional series to say the least. we got a great win tonight, but regardless the warriors do have the edge because they now have home court advantage. the warriors are a team I wish I could rally behind and root for when they aren't playing our guys, sadly Mark Jacksons bounty system and some fans trolling here have completely made that impossible. still, what people like you tend to do is let us know that not all fans of other teams are dicks....thanks for being a great representative of your team. this will be a great series. welcome to CTB

So did Collison and Granger. If one of them just made one more basket it would been OT, two it would have been game.

Granger looked rusty in game one and Jamal had a bad game. Everything seemed to go wrong that being said everything that happened in game one is not likely to repeat itself three more times in this series for a warriors series win. As long as Blake stays out of trouble and we play great defense like we did in game 2 we can beat anyone

Well when he speaks he obviously tries to evoke some type of emotion. We've seen how this supposed rivalry and animosity between our two teams had refs calling Game 1 fairly tightly, which benefited us. Even in our series against Denver after he made the statements that George Karl was sending hit-men at Steph, I think that benefited us also going forward in last years playoffs. But boy did Blake griffin show up for Game 2! I still can't get over the impact he had over the game.

I am not sold on Jackson as a coach, but as a person, I think he is a good guy. I don't take adultery lightly. It was one of the most hurtful things a person can do. He made a really bad mistake, a sinful one. But he without sin cast the first stone, right? I'm not a fan of his style, but the people who know him like him and respect him. And I think that says a lot. I've seen him do charity events at prisons and I liked the way he handled "chapel-gate" with the Clippers. The Clippers decided not have fellowship with the Warriors players, and Jackson simply said, "If they change their mind we'll worship with them." (Paraphrasing here.) No judgment, just an invitation to bridge a gap.

I really do think his heart is in the right place. Too bad people are so quick to rush to judgment.

Now as far as his coaching goes? There I have a few issues...

He's a piece of **** and always has been. Just ask John Stockton. Mark Jackass shoved him into retirement by turning the whole locker room against him because HE felt he wasn't getting enough minutes.

We need to win on Thursday and/or Sunday @Golden State. Not an easy task, despite last night's huge win. They shoot a lot of 3 pointers, and when those go down, the crowd explodes. I have lots of confidence in Doc Rivers and our ball club. Let's do this!

Agreed. Lets hope they can ride the wave of momentum and come up with a W on Thursday. That would be ideal.

You're right. The Oracle is a very tough venue for the Clippers. Game 3 is the key. If the Dubs can pull out a win, and they will be fighting mad, then they need only split the remaining two at home and the remaining two on the road at the neutral site known as Staples.

Warriors!

Well, the home record that matters right now is that the Clippers 1-1 in their house in the playoffs.

Only playoff records matter? Well we haven't played a game at Oracle in the playoffs yet, so that means absolutely nothing you say about your team's past performances at Oracle matters, correct?

OKC is 1-1 in their house too. As were the Spurs last year round 2 against the Warriors. We all know how that turned out roll

What happened boreacle arena advantage?

Unlike the Warriors who seemed unmotivated and perfectly happy with a split on the road, I think the Clippers want both of these games in Oakland. Warriors players/fans can come up with whatever excuses they want about Game 2, the fact is our offense and defensive rotations are clicking incredibly well. Warriors' rhythm looks out of sync.

Last time I checked it's only the record that matters. While it might be preferable to have the home court advantage it is not necessary. We are tied 1-1 and whoever wins 3 more games wins the series the location of their wins are not as important.

If we win one game at Oracle ,which I think we will win three in a row moving forward, you are back to where you started.

We all know what can happen when you start celebrating early over something like holding home court and having the percentages of the first game in a series won on your side.

I wouldn't say they're unmotivated - at least not ALL of them - just outclassed in terms of talent and kind of adrift in terms of strategy.

If you hope to beat a better team, you need a lot more than a sermon from your coach. The refs are now wise to their "remove Blake" agenda, and I really can't see what else Jackass has to give his players.

SERIOUSLY. This statement is what I've been saying. Where the hell do people get off thinking just cause the away team stole just one frickin game at the others home they can magically close out the series and have super increased odds to win the whole series or let alone not lose in their home? Lol. So many ignorant basketball fans. Even friends I have follow that notion, "all the warriors needed was one home game from the clippers" like the rest will be a walk in the park if you are at home or way regardless....lol miami showed the world last year in the finals how a 1-0 lead can mean nothing.

You guys are too funny. Who said the series was in the bag for the Warriors because they took one at Staples? Not me, that's for sure. But the reality is there are 5 games left in the series and 3 of them are at the Oracle where the Clippers DO NOT PLAY WELL. The Spurs? Yes, they play well anytime and any place where they play the Dubs. But not the Clippers.

So I think the Warriors are in a good place.

By the way, where it the Warriors fan who started this fan. Get over here, brother! I'm doing all the heavy lifting.

Not Played Well!? You can't keep using past seasons to judge and predetermine the conclusion of this season. If remember correctly. The Clippers lost by one in Oakland this season when Blake Griffin got ejected....

To be honest, I'd be nervous about our record in the Boreacle if I were a Warriors fan. Streaks are made to be broken, after all.

We used to own the Grizzlies until last year's playoffs when suddenly the backdoor sweep happened. Things can change on a dime.

Yup, that's why they play the games. Still, the Oracle is a very hostile environment and during the playoffs, the crowd definitely boosts the adrenaline of the players. But the what the Warriors will have a hard time overcoming over the course of the series is the absence of Andrew Bogut. Losing him was huge because he does so much for the team on defense, and on offense does many things that go unseen. They need his toughness and size.

^ Keep heaping the pressure on those boys to step up for the home crowd, despite the only thing them having achieved so far is fooling a few refs into benching the best player on the floor. Twice.

Maybe the next crew will fall for it, too. Maybe they didn't get the memo from Rod Thorn. Or maybe your lads took a few acting classes on their trip down to Hollywood to make their flops and scuffles a little more convincing.

Better hope so, because last I checked, a "hostile" crowd isn't allowed to put the ball in the hoop for them or stop them from coughing it up 25 times per game.

Game 7 in Memphis, 2012, the crowd was far more hostile than the Boreacle could ever dream of being and we still won.

Warrior fans need to get over Bogut being injured. One of my close friends is a Warrior fan from the bay and that's all he talks about too. That has to be the worst excuse ever. You guys knew what you were getting when you traded for him, an injury prone player. What else did you expect? My buddy still says he would take Bogut over DJ, "when healthy." That Is my point. He will always get injured, every season. It doesn't fail. His only healthy season was his rookie season. DJ (if I'm not mistaken) is the league's iron man. You have to play to be effective.

Honestly tho, its a pretty good excuse. They're missing their best (maybe 2nd best) defender. Can you imagine if we were m issuing one of our top 5 pieces? Wed be making all sorts of excuses too. Its leaving a huge whole in their rotations that Blake is exploiting to the max.
