Matt Barnes left the floor with about 3 minutes left in the third quarter in game 3 of the playoffs vs the Warriors. It appears that he broke a toe or dislocated a bone in his foot. His status is unknown at this point.

UPDATE: It appears to be "just" a jammed toe.

Playoffs are not for the weak, either players or fans. Whereas we would go on disability, they tape it up and away they go.

Matt looked in a lot of pain when he was getting the toe put back in place. It was a bite on this stick kind of moment.

Oy, that must hurt like crazy. I accidentally stubbed my toe the other day and broke the nail bed and that hurt like hell. A jammed toe, while better than a broken one, is no picnic. Get well soon, Matt!

There bound to be soreness and bruising after that, lets see how he is for next game.

Does it not seem, over the last 3 playoffs runs, we get hurt way more then other teams do? I get it with Memphis, all they do is try to hurt, but it seems we really get racked up no matter what. And poor CP3 not only injured but with the flu. That man is a gamer.

They didn't use anesthesia that's why. When I got my finger dislocated, the doctor had a hard time popping it back but he injected anesthesia before doing it.

Start Granger. Let Dudley/Hedo play some backup SF. A gimpy Barnes is not a useful Barnes. Let him rest and get back to 100%. It will be better for the team and will prevent further injury.

I think Dudley deserves to start if Barnes isn't ready.

Would rather Hedo get the start regardless if Barnes is 100% or not. If Barnes can't go full speed put Dudley next to Davis and start Hedo.

Hopefully Barnes can play.. His offense has been off but his defense has been on point when guarding and switching.. We need you Barnes!

I'd go with Granger, and activate Bullock to see what works better between him and Duds. We haven't seen too much of Granger with the starting unit, and it might be something really positive that works out for us.

Seems like too perfect if a solution to pass up.

Starting Granger might be the way to go, but activating Bullock won't happen unless more injuries be fall us.

You go with the vets first.

Duds can't handle any bit of Iggy. I wouldn't be opposed to Duds guarding Leonord in the WCF though if we so happen to meet.

Barnes is having a bad series, can't buy a bucket, and Granger is streaky from game to game, 15 in the blowout nothing yesterday, CRINGING!

Igoudala has been terrible this series. I think he might be playing through knee tendinitis similar to what Dudley had earlier in the year.

If Barnes can't play in game 4, I say we start Granger and use Turk as our first SF off the bench.

No, Barnes needs to start. He's got great chemistry with the rest of the starters and he does play good defense. He's gotta play. Get well soon, Matt!

If it's his but toe there may be a problem. The big toe stabilizes you and an amputated big toe is a cripling injury not that his will be amputated. Start Granger but he's been so foul prone. You can post him up and put in Duds.

yup yup, he is running around and hustling. Also he knows where to be and doing a lot of dirty work. Watch him closely on rebounds and running around the picks, he is being real physical and elbowing their thighs, i love it you can barely see it. They think twice about setting good picks on Barnes he is in their heads

Barnes shot is not falling and he does have some bone headed plays in the games but a lot of the little things he does go unnoticed

There are reasons Barnes is still starting. He Has Great Chemistry He Does The Little Things What I mean by little things. You see him grab boards, he will throw a loose ball back in. Plays Defense. That Is....
