If Sterling stays... and Doc quits, players demand trades, we lose the ability to lure ANY free agents (this will happen for sure), I'm retiring as a fan. It will break my heart, I'll be depressed... but I cannot keep doing this over and over again. I've already been depressed the last few days and wondering why I poured 15 years into this team. With so much passion, dedication and love. The only thing that can change my feelings is Sterling being banned from the NBA or at least forced to sell team.
I was just telling my girlfriend this....

F**k Lisa Leslie for basically calling our players cowards for being professionals.

Disney (who own ABC) have had their own share of racism complaints, and that b!tch always took her check and kept her mouth shut.

I've been lurking for a while and I can't believe some of the stuff people actually say on here! Putting this loss on CP3 just makes me shake my head. You as FANS know how horrible you felt after Sterling's comments and have the nerve to critique the actual player who must be going through much worse turmoil than the fans.

The whole team was horrible. DC played like ass, DJ couldn't even stay in the game and Jamal did good by chucking his way to his points. But to pin this on Chris, over the recent events is just sad.

So Collison, DJ, and Jamal are allowed to be criticized but not the $107 million point guard? It's not even just this one game, he's been pretty substandard on offense and at the line this whole series and you can't blame all of that on DTS.

He's supposed to be the leader, and yes it is fair. Not all the blame. But part of it. And if I hear one more person on tv say we should

Have boycotted I will scream. Every team should refuse to play unless sterling goes or no one boycotts. people keep parroting,

"It's a league issue not a team issue." So basically the only people that suffer are the players? She sucks.

Postman... in what could be our final hour as a franchise we agree for once! I too would not be able to jump on another team's bandwagon. I put too much of my heart into this team for too long.

I was watching CNN and they had a reporter outside oracle. The guy said he spoke to Cp3's brother and he said he's devastated by this situation, he went on to say that he is almost as devastated as he was when the league nixed his trade to the LAKERS! No lie, that is what the reporter said.

No need to make excuses the Warriors where the better team today and now it's time to focus on game 5.

Wow Joe. I'm not even attached to CP3. I'd be fine with Doc+BG+DJ and others going forward. CP3 has always given me the impression of a frontrunner for our team. He's the first guy that I think would demand a trade.

With every passing minute I lose more and more interest in this team and basketball in general. My fianc will be thrilled.

In my opinion, the team is creating a hostile environment for its own fans. It is what it is, but they pushed the fans away today in my opinion.

Seriously, that really happened. I couldn't watch the end of the game so I tuned into the news. I've always had that perception about CP3 which is why I've always been to critical of him. Glad to see BG giving his all out there with composure. If CP3 leaves, no tears from me. I just want DTS out and keep our original stars.

To be honest, I wouldn't even be that mad if he did. It's very hard to win a championship when you rely on a point guard so much on offense. It's even harder when that point guard can easily shut down by a bigger defender, or even simply by his own mentality (his overdribbling, his tentative games, etc.). Get a real small forward for once, build around Blake, and this team could win with a role player at PG. I've said on here before that a core of LeBron and Blake would be nearly impossible to guard because of their size, athleticism, passing skills, and improved jump shots - especially if you put a bunch of shooters around them.

Of course, this requires a new owner. It's all a moot point if the NBA does nothing.

I applaud the effort they gave in this game. I just hope they can focus and prepare for Game 5. I really hope the crowd can get behind them.

I agree. I'd handle the loss of CP3 much easier than the loss of Blake/Doc/DJ.

You think DJ and Blake would stay if he's still the owner? Dj is the only one that had a response after the story broke. And played like it bothered him just as much as CP. If he's still the owner, why would Blake stay either? Is he not as affected as the others?

I get you don't care for CP and maybe you get your wish but if you think the others will take this in the chin and not care is wrong. They have more pride than that.

Let's not be too quick to rush to judgement on CP3. As NBAPA president, he's probably getting more hassle over this than anybody else.

He may ultimately prove to be a villain, or a hero... I'll wait and see.

It's singling out one player for the blame that irks me. How could you expect the team to perform when is as fans are shaken by what's happened. The whole team didn't play well and they were not focused as whole. For today, it's not fair to put it on Chris

Doc is an emotional dude but its no running from it. The players probably would of preferred another road game there is no stopping the hell storm.

Silver can banish Sterling but the wounds are still there.

Yeah, he probably has more mental stress then any other clippers by being the president of the NBAPA.

I know your boss is a moron but he could be suspended. Your players and coach aren't playing for him, they are playing for the organization. Yes they protested but they should have played with heart and fire for their organization, teammates and fans. They showed none of that today. Don't worry about the owner. You could get a new owner next year.

If they are secretly playing like don't want to play hard for the owner then this series is over. Warriors will easily win the next 2 games. I know my Lakers are horrible this year and sadly could be a perennial laughingstock because in a few short years we have gone from the best ownership to one of the worst ownerships in the NBA but they have 10 because rings players like Magic and Kobe and great coaches like Jackson and Riley would not let anything distract them.

Hate seeing 'Beat LA" Warrior fans thump their chests if they win this series because your team gave up. And this game was without Bogut. Today's game was a debacle.

There is a reason why the Lakers have 10 rings and you have none.

These guys are being paid millions to play a sport. Take action off court but don't drag that stuff on the court and ruin it for fans.

Nobody cares what a Laker fan thinks. Sterling will be gone eventually, whether it's the NBA forcing him out or old age. Meanwhile, you still have many decades of Jim Buss' incompetence to look forward to. Have fun sucking forever!

There's a reason when CP3 was our injured, we could never beat the elite teams. Take him out completely and we go back to the pre-CP3 era. Blake will get doubled every time. We might be a 40 win team, but definitely will never be close to championship team.

Please. They can't be affected by what's going on in the world? They played their best, they were mentally and emotionally spent. Stop acting like "millions of dollars" makes you more than human.

Well duh, if CP3 is replaced with nothing, then we'd be a worse team.

Replace him with an actual small forward and an actual backup big, on the other hand? Then I honestly think we'd be a better team. Certainly a more balanced one, at least.

It's not just the players that should be offended. It's a universal thing. They talked about how tough they were going to be but folded when real

Adversity came about. They are making sterlings comments about them specifically when it reflects

universal racism. The media should stop pressuring them. I think that's a big part of it.

And peer pressure.

Uh no. After what's happened do you think anyone will want to come here? Replacing a hall of fame Pg with a serviceable big and a SF doesn't make this team better.

Just got home from Dodger Stadium,my plan fell through as I was not able to sit on the barstool I sat in last game and watch the game as I watched the Dodgers too, because they did not show the game or any highlights or any lowlights. I guess the plus side, didn't have to listen to Faker fans cheer our loss or boo our team because we were essentially blacked out.

As I said in an earlier post, it's all contingent on what the NBA does, CP3 or no.

Of course, if the NBA does nothing and lets this POS continue to destroy the franchise, I really won't care who's on the team anyway because I'll be done.

This Warriors win had nothing to do with Sterling, they just played better today, it happens. The series is 2-2 with the Clippers regaining the home court advantage. The Clippers are still favorite to win this series and no one thought this would be an easy series.

Right? Doc doesn't even know if he wants to stay at this moment. He said as much. If they think the other players will stay under DTS ownership then they are blind. Many teams will pay JJ, JCraw, DC etc or trade for them. Don't know who Clips would get back and if they would even want to actually be here. You've seen players refuse to report to teams after being traded before.

I've read this board for years and recently notice who is anti CP. If you think you can reason with those people, you're wasting your time.

The power of winning. Just stay focused and win. Turn this spirit around by supporting the people, staff, and players. Just like a kid with an abused childhood, don't make it worse. Make it better. More than ever, we need to be stronger fans..

If we as fans are emotionally drained imagine what the players and coaches feel like! They need an off day. They need a break. Its been a terrible past 48 hours! This break is much needed ....

It's best that Curry had his game of the series today when we weren't 100 percent focused yet. If we would of lost anyway, it's a good thing that Curry got his points out of the way. I expected one big game from Curry this series and hopefully that was it. We need to adjust to their adjustments to our trap.

I can assure you the warriors are not canceling practice and will be sharp and prepared. This is a mistake, but seems typical of Doc given his response to this.

Cp3 has a big load on his shoulders right now. He is the head of the NBPA, so he has to make a stand against the Sterling issue.

team holds all the cards still. Even the players want out and they don't report, they'll be subject to reprimand. that means no pay with fines. If you think the players are in the drivers seat, you're blind.

I've been reading a while too, and it amazes me the hate he gets by the same people over and over. He looked absolutely dejected in that post game conference. I can't imagine what he's going through right now.

And I have to laugh at the person who said they won't shed a tear if Chris leaves. You sure as hell will when this team plummets back to the bottom of the standings. Blake has improved incredibly this year. Proved everyone that he was more than a dunker. But we will most likely never win anything with him at the helm. It's very hard for people to win a championship in this league without two stars, and if Chris or Lebron couldn't do it, Blake sure as hell won't either. If we do overcome this **** storm, and get to the finals, it all rests on Chris, as everyone knows who's taking game winning shot when it comes down to it at any point of the playoffs.

they are not in full control until unrestricted free agency. when DJ, JJ, Crawford's and the other short term deals are up, we will see who elects to stay under DTS. You will have Blake for 5 and its clear you want CP gone. good luck getting free agents.

Yeah, the "typical" stuff is nonsense. However, I do agree that canceling practice is a mistake. These guys need to be together and united much more than they need the multitude of outside influences they're bound to be subjected to tomorrow.

Rise above it how? Knowing the man who represents the franchise you play for is a racist scumbag who sees you as his property and doesn't want your brothers or sisters to come to the game because of the color of their skin. I wouldn't blame the team if they completely quit on him.
