As a crowd and ClipperNation I feel we need to address it pre game with a chant then focus 100% of cheering for OUR Clippers. Just not sure what exactly the chant could be.

I worry that fans will go with the weak and low-class "Sterling Sucks" or "F U Sterling" chants. this is probably likely. We need something with a bit more thought and effectiveness.

These playoffs aren't meaningless at all. In fact, they are just as important as the "big picture" with Sterling etc. Even if Sterling ends up resigning, if we lose in the first round we have really set ourselves back as a franchise. I would even argue that not getting to the WCF would make this a failure of a season, and, frankly, not getting to the Finals would be a disappointment with the talent and the fact that we're finally (mostly) healthy. And if you want to say that one season isn't important, consider how rare these opportunities are. I've been a fan for over twenty years and the only real time I felt we had a chance was in 2006. Until this year. We may have a shot next year or the year after but it's hardly guaranteed. But we do have a shot right now.

I truly hope the players realize that and don't get deceived by this false morality play that is mostly driven by the media. Let's not pretend that they didn't know what kind of owner they were working for, that they've always disassociated him from what they were trying to do here. Heck, even the NAACP was willing to overlook (actually even applaud) Sterling for a paycheck. I don't buy that this current outrage is genuine so much as it is damage control, because if all of these indignant people really were so clueless about the nature of Sterling, they were just out of touch with their profession.

Point being, the players have worked so hard specifically for an opportunity that rarely presents itself, and to throw that all away due to an individual that they thought about only on payday (if even that) is a huge waste and doesn't hurt anyone but themselves and the fans that have spent so much time and money supporting them.

Exactly, instead of chanting negative stuff to someone who prolly doesn't give one shi* about us, we should chant positive things to actually back up our team.

I wasn't going to go because this game is expensive but I'm gonna pony up. I'll be wearing my gear and will lose my voice by end of game.

Doc wants us the fans to be one. Since people are going to troy to blackout Staples may as well join.

Clipper Nation. Lets support our team. I say when we show up to game 5 we don't sit in our seats for the first quarter. Our team is based on unity. They believe this is a problem. Lets force the hand sooner that later for the Adam silver to find a resolution for this. This hurts us as fans to. We love our beloved clippers. To see them not wanting to play sucks. Lets support them in this cause come back in the second and be loud and proud of beinga clipper fan. True clipper fans know sterling was always like this. We have a championship contending team

The league should postpone the game till there is a resolution. A team can't play with this distraction. Why not just give it to the Warriors?

Do we have any estimate of how many people will actually come in all black though?

Awesome, TheDude! Just bought my tickets and I'm ready to do the same! First playoff game for me, and I just couldn't pass it up. If we win, it may be the greatest victory in our franchise, if we lose and drop the series, it may be the last we see of this beloved Clippers team. Add onto that all the hooplah outside staples, media coverage, likely protests, etc... It's going to be a surreal night!

We should come in black to show the world that we support our team. The problem is that the team and Doc have been humiliated. As far as a fine, DTS's actions were willful and he's done damage two the whole league. It's a good basis for a lawsuit. He should have made a public statement IMMEDIATELY explaining the lawsuit how he was badgered and that he meant only the black guys who were screwing his wife, that he couldn't get it up and she broke his heart with a few tears. That might have worked. He's not sorry that he's a racist.

If I had tickets I would wear all black with my black Blake Griffin Jersey and would be cheering my ass of like it was the last game I ever attended.

I think the PR should issue black editions of the playoff shirts draped over the seats in Staples to the fans, that would be awesome.

Mavericks are looking to support our Clippers and wear black socks... IF, they can find any as stated in an article.

. Wow that's awesome , but one step further should be that the players show there unity and boycott all the games and put the pressure on the other owners / tv / sponsors to ask for sterling head !!
