Its a very real possibility that doc will leave this summer and our top players will leave as soon as they get the chance. Free agents will not want to come here and even if we draft great players they will leave as well. The only way to prevent this is to get rid of Donald. If he still is the owner, I can not support this team and a lot of people will not as well...

Someone posted a tweet on Clipsnation saying that Doc and players are wanting out of their contracts. If it's true, then our post season is probably over. Just truly dis-heartening if this is the end of probably the best Clippers team we've seen. I guess I would go wherever CP goes and check on DJ and BG too.

I'm done if Sterling's still the owner and will be finding a new team to root for. Rooting for this franchise is officially a waste of time, you can't even enjoy winning without DTS ruining it all.

Its very hard to think about what will happen but I will stay and root for the Clips.

Unless there's a link from a respectable source, don't believe those tweets. Just more internet BS.

I'm done with the nba if the clips players opt out of their contract. Pretty soft. I believe most of this is media bull s***.

This is a big mess, so it would be in the best interest of other owners to keep Donald in the league because they know our players will be pressured into asking to get out of contracts or requesting trades. If i am another owner i would already be planning and sending whispers of who i want.

I've spent 10 years as a Clips fan, hoping against all odds. I can hope for the best for a little while longer.

Any small roster gain is outweighed by the massive amount of damage Sterling continues to do to the league and its owners for as long as he owns a team, so no, it's not in their best interest.

Seems like kind of a premature thread. Can't we at least wait until we're eliminated?

Donald has to go and quickly, Sorry for the man it is his team and it may not be fair to him but how can you fault players for trying to get out of here and not be associated with all this drama. All the strides we took in the correct directions and i truly thought we had a shot at getting Melo but i think that is gown now. players will still come here money talks loud but not the players we really want.

I think he really cares about the Clippers and he will do the right thing, The Owners and the Players has to suck it up and give him a honorable way out to help though.

I can't even watch the other playoff games anymore because I'm too jealous of all the other teams with stable ownership and no drama. Meanwhile, our douchebag owner went off the rails again and we already know the team's getting blown up after a first-round exit.

i was just about to post the exact same thing. this situation is such a heavy burden on us fans and players. The sight of other teams putting in their all without emotional struggles is hard to watch.

Hey JQuick32, why don't you find another team to root for right now so you can save some trouble and salvage these playoffs? Blazers are a good, fun choice. Or you can go with the Heat if you want a good shot at a title!

This thread is depressing. I get that we are all affected by this and are questioning the future of this franchise, the future of our current players and coaches, but this just adds to all the drama and it's a bit premature. We've got to pull together collectively to help our team get themselves focused and make them realize that they have fans who support them.

I'm beginning to think none of you have any real life problems. Are you all teenagers? Sports is entertainment. If this is really making so many of you depressed, just turn off the tv and forget about it and find something else or another team or something. It's really not that bad. We're still going to win this series and hopefully by the 2nd round there will be some resolution here. If not, well, life goes on.

I'm just concerned about your well-being, BlueJays. Seems like the Clippers only bring you misery, so why don't you root for the Heat or another no-stress team (Spurs is a good choice usually but wait until they get HCA back at least).

Last I checked, you were calling anyone who pointed out the obvious distraction and damage to the franchise here a "soap opera drama queen," so your opinion on this is worth absolutely nothing.

I will grant you that, for once, your crying may have been justified as this has become a legitimate distraction. It's like the boy who cried wolf though.. you do it enough, you just have to assume the panic isn't justified. So kudos to you for getting one right. Still, the point stands: so much misery, why not find something else to do?

i'll be completely honest, for the past 6 years as Clips fan i've grown emotionally invested in this team. sucks, i know, haha. i guess i enjoy the game way too much, that's all. Also, to see this franchise build something from scrap heap to contenders just has been some thing extraordinary.

Can anyone tell me legit what can the league do at most to DTS? I really hope they can force him out of there.

I agree with you totally, comeONcraig, but you have to stick with the team when times are tough. I'd think as Clipper fans we'd understand that. Don't be like BlueJays here and throw around your loyalty from game to game. Be a real fan!

Hey Jquick32 & LucktheFakers- you two keep up the bickering, I would be forced to ban both your accounts. You want to talk about "The Future of the Franchise", go ahead, otherwise, PM each other, get each others' email address or something and have a blast.

definitely, i absolutely agree, i'm standing strong and hoping to see that light at the end of the tunnel. i haven't seen the Dark Ages of this franchise as many have, and i commend those who've rode it out until today.

I have been a fan since 2001, and this is something entirely different. In the past the on court production matched the dysfunction that was going on behind the scenes. After a few years it almost seemed as if things had changed. For this to happen when the culture changed and we have a top coach plus players is completely different. In sum, this time we have something to lose. We are falling from grace so to speak

These past two days have been the most depressing time as a Clippers fan. Even worse than the worst of losing seasons, even worse than Elton Brand bolting us out, and even worst that Ralph may or may not see a ring after his hall-of-fame career.

However, I do not want to see this playoff end. Because this is the only shot us Clippers fans can only enjoy. If they want to make a bigger statement, win the championship with heart and soul. When they get that trophy, make a statement by refusing to pass the Larry O'Brien to Donald Sterling.

This is how I would make a bigger imprint in this league.

If the Clippers team blows up over this, I think I'm done with the NBA. I've been through too much as a Clippers fan to watch our rise cut short after 2 years...

move the franchise to seattle and start afresh under a new owner, no more sharing stadium/town with flakers, no more donald

Obviously, you either don't attend games in person or you own a Lear jet.

I don't have my own jet, but I do enjoy watching my team in person... so no, bad idea.

I honestly have no clue what I will do with my basketball entertainment if this franchise blows up. I'm just so devastated from a bondage to the team standpoint.

The league can suspend him indefinitely and take over day to day operations kind of like the MLB did within the dodgers. They say it's so hard to make him sell the team BC he can then sue the league and DTS is a lawyer so he knows his stuff

Make it happen, I did not feel sad of our lose today in Warrior's what makes me sad is losing the Clippers from LA. Hard to see Blake wearing Seattle Clippers or whatever they will call it.
