Yes! Great news after a great day yesterday. This should help the team. They could certainly do with more good news.

Congrats JC!

It's debatable whether or not he was the best choice but i'm just glad somebody on this great team got some kind of recognition. It's a whole lot better than Taj accepting the award after he's been eliminated Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_16

I was hard on him for struggling versus Memphis in the post-season, but looking at RB and KD in OKC, I think I was too harsh on him. He's been big the last two games. Still I know many people still hold there breaths every-time he touches the ball.

But congrats to Crawford.

More great news! Man...if the Clippers can win a championship after all of this, I will be ecstatic. Talk about a roller coaster ride. A championship would be the ultimate thank you from the team for us sticking by them for this entire time.

While the award is for '6th man', that should include stepping in and taking the starting role when injuries dictate. He did a great job as a starter, really became more of a team player (as opposed to a more offensive minded one as a sub).

Congrats JC!!

Congrats Jamal! Well deserved!

I was worried that East Coast bias was going to win Gibson the award, like with J.R. Brick last year.

I haven't seen anyone post it and I think we should talk about it because at the age of 34 Jamal Crawford win the 6th man of the year award according to sources.

I'm so happy he won it he decadently deserved its after being robbed last year and this year he has just been outstanding.

Well deserved. But really, what I'm happier about is that he's showing up so far in the playoffs, he was huge last night in the 4th.

Congrats to Jamal Crawford! Honestly one of the most genuine and nicest guys in the entire league. Glad he's started to play like he can in these playoffs, and even hit a dagger jumper in game 5. Granted, his defense is not great, but it's much better than it has been in previous years. He's definitely bought into Doc's system and deserves this award! Happy for him and the team!

Well deserved. In all honesty he should be a 3x SMOTY not 2x. Glad the NBA got it right this time.

I really didn't see any competition for this award this year.

JC has been balling all season and in the playoffs has erased

the stigma about disappearing in the playoffs.

Congrats

yes, true he has turned it around. but he was also a dick coming into this season....jealous of the Redick acquisition. To his defense he has been a pro since but he did have his diva moment

The East Coast media tried to make up a competition with Taj Gibson, but happily, voters saw through that bullshit.

taj deserves to be up there, he is a beast on both ends of the court, if given the chance you would give your left arm to sign him up

Hey... We are gonna win the next game because Adam Silver will have to give the award to Jamal and the officiating will be in our favor. Damn... I was waiting for Jamal to start crying so we could get the calls

Something tells me Sixth Man of the Year doesn't come with the same rigged reffing that MVP does, but I hope I'm wrong.

Guys come on we did NOT lose last game cause of reffing, it was essentially a blow out with our bench cutting the thread, we lost cause our defense was Terrible.

I disagree partially. The CP fouls changed the GAME entirely. He goes out we can not keep up. With CP in the game, it would have not been a blowout.

Still, REBOUNDS and BG were major problems. This needs to be fixed.

JC is one of the most skilled, talented one on one players in NBA history. He has been an absolute joy to watch. I marvel at his moves. Truly one of the most smoothest players to ever lace them up. He's 34 now so the decline might happen anytime so I'm going to enjoy him while he's still got something left.

I remember when eyebrows were raised about the signing of Jamal Crawford. He may not be the most well rounded player, but he's one of the most fun players to watch. There's not too many players like him in the league.

He will decline , but I believe he will average double digit point for the rest of his career. He shouldn't decline much because he hasn't played defense and he comes off the bench. And....

HAHA, all that defense not played by Jamal was actually a great strategy to have a prolonged career. There's no reason why Jamal can't be a Vince Carter type player at age 37. Vince probably still has another 2 years left in the tank too.
