Focus will be the key for both teams again. The Warriors have won 16 of their past 19 home games against the Clippers, including a 118-97 whipping Sunday after the Sterling saga began. But star Stephen Curry, who scored 17 points in the first quarter alone in that game, is coming off one of his most perplexing playoff performances. Curry had a career-high eight turnovers and attempted just 10 shots - making five of them - in Game 5 in Los Angeles. He finished with 17 points and four assists, but he was glad to be back in Oakland on Wednesday and....

Tuesdays win was pivotal in demonstrating that this team could place its mind back in the game. It was ugly, and many of our guys were missing many shots. There was probably more pressure in that game than the players wanted to admit

Well the Duds will come out like a cornered, wounded animal. Fighting for their lives. But, wounded animals are easier to take down they scared hurt one, and in the backs of their minds they have to be scared of failure. Our guys know the world won't end, but their guys are afraid it will.

Oddsmakers have us losing by 1, screw them.

Repped High Quality Post

Truthfully the warriors haven't won 1 game this series off pure talent and skill. Game 1 the refs blew the game, game 4 our heads weren't in it.

I don't want to predict a blowout game, but we should win this today in any way. GS will not fold easily, they will do everything to protect their home, CP3 Blake and DJ will try their best to finish this today or else game 7 will just give them more pressure. I expect a lot of fire for both team.

We better trap that pick 'n roll all night long, Steph is due for a big Big BIG game, you have to set up a tent before he even arrives to the spot otherwise he just pulls up and knocks it down. Although that trap leaves the weak side wide open for a dunk better that then have Steph get hot, and better a 2 than a 3!

If Deandre play half as well as Tuesday and Blake is back to his MVP caliber self, we will win. Blake like a true star will bounce back to give us the win. I am glad he did not play well Tuesday, but we still got the win. This shows how deep we are and how good our defense is. I am more confident than any other game that we will win this game even though I know the Duds will make it very hard to. Jackie will not let us win easily without a fight. Hope our players can walk away from tonight's game without any major injuries.

I can see this game being close until the fourth before our defense clamps down for the win. Hopefully Chris and Blake have big games and DJ continues to dominate.

Let's go Clippers! As long as we don't dig ourselves too big of a hole in the first half, I think we got this game.

Clipper's gotta jump on GS early to rack up points. Deandre and Blake have to play well to ease pressure on CP3. Make free throws, could have won all games if they were made. Go Clipper's from you Nevada fans.

It would be great to close out the series tonight! Let's get ready for the next team, get some rest, some light practice, and prepare. Have Memphis and OKC beat each other up, and show their weaknesses.

The series will finish tonight. Clippers are winning for sure. Home court advantage can suck it, the better team will always prevail. Game 5 got close to begin with was when Blake sat for long spurts cause of foul trouble and when CP was just playing terrible offensively in the first half. Clippers need a great efficient scoring CP3, hopefully we get him tonight.

And most important of all, hopefully his rhythm can be there at full strength in the next series against either OKC or Memphis. We will need it.

I think we will close this out tonight as I think Doc has found his answer to their small ball lineups.

  1. DJ being ultra aggressive because they simply don't have the size to really stop him from doing what he wants.

  2. Playing Collison and Crawford more over JJ and Barnes in that match up. The one thing the Warriors have figured out is neither Barnes nor JJ are going anywhere with the ball off the dribble and they have trouble feeding the post with ball pressure. When warriors go small and help they do knowing that they can recover to the wings and then simply make sure they run them off the three ball line because they don't have the footspeed to consistently get to the rim off the dribble. When Doc puts Collison and Crawford in if the warriors are a hair late or cheat too much in helping on Blake both DC and JC are into the lane and the defense is compromised and even if they don't score DJ and Blake are drawing all sorts of fouls as they crash the offensive glass.

Hopefully we can. If we're leading by the end of the 3rd QTR we are heavy favorites to finished it out on the road. If we are trailing at the end of the 3rd, we are 1-14 on the road.

Go Clipps.

Great assessment. Especially #2. I noticed that too. JJ off the dribble is painful to watch. Anything other than catch

and shoot and bad things start happening.

Number one priority - don't let Steph pop off of those screens. With GSW if you cut the snake's head off it will die. Anyone but Curry. He's going to get frustrated because I don't think he has "The eye of the Tiger" (that should win an award for trite). Blake didn't play poorly, we ran our offense through him and he was predictably doubled and tripled. They really couldn't even handle him with a double. I don't know what adjustment Jackass can make. Look for cheap shots and a couple of flagrant fouls. If this happens Dud or Willie should clock Steph, Not injure him but send a message. We will have a problem at PF. Duds is small but he has been playing decent D and he has the ability to get hot. 10 pts isn't out of the question. We need Granger. With his length and his previous ability to post he SHOULD give them fits. If Granger is worth anything at all maybe start him but he had only one good game. If we get 10 pts out of him !! Maybe his knees are bothering him. Billups/Grant Hill redux. He had trouble in shootaround DJ, BG, DG we own the boards and with DJ's new bank shot we're in -banked FT that is. He finally made his first back to the basket shot and he owns Jermaine. Over the last few games he has had tremendous confidence and maybe that's why his FT's have been better.

We may have problems with Klay posting up and nobody Except Granger can guard him and he's foul prone..

Expect a lot of ticky tack foul early to set the tone. Who wins? No Clue.

Ticket prices at Oracle went way down for tonight's game.....perhaps the fans doubt their Warriors?!

$65 per tix compared to $120 for previous game

Yeah, I agree. I loved how CP3 shut him down last game. I say CP3 should focus on guarding Curry. We can let Blake, Crawford, Redick, Collison, DJ, and the rest do all the scoring. If CP3's defense is on point, we'll get the W.

Considering we're the road team playing against a team that needs to win to stay alive, a 1 point spread is pretty good for us. As accurate as Vegas is, they're not perfect. Yesterday, the spread for the Spurs-Dallas game was Spurs -7. They only won by 6. So if Vegas is wrong by 1 or 2 points again, that's good news for us. If I was a betting man, I'd definitely take the Clippers and the measly 1 pt spread.

Clippers win that is who. CP3 has had mediocre games, either a lot of TOs or barely any points and not aggressive in both halves. Hopefuly we can expect this game to his DOMINANT night and I mean dominant in every single aspect. And blake won't be in foul trouble back to back games so expect to see our 1-2 punch in full effect tonight! Got a good feeling about tonight.....

he gets a pass from me. CP3 has locked down Curry for all but one game. That takes a lot out of you. I'd rather he keeps doing that that then get a big offensive game. CP3 is having a great series!

First Take, PTI, ESPN 710, NBA TV

I'm sure there are analysts picking us, but the majority I've heard today were leaning towards Golden State.

Defensively yes, cp3 is amazing. But I hate making excuses and letting things be acceptable because we try to outweigh the pros and cons. Regardless if it takes a lot out of you that's what separates good from great! What separated Kobe, MJ, Lebron, Larry Bird, etc. From the rest. You HAVE to do it on both sides. Defensively he's been great, but there is no excuses and no getting him off the hook for playing poorly on offense.

If CP3 wants to be considered the greatest point guard in the league right now, he needs to show flashes of a MVP caliber performance throughout the post season. I mean Kendall Marshall can pass well and get lots of assists too lol. We need more from Paul then just his playmaking and defense, we need him to find his shots like Tony Parker and be all that all around point guard now more than ever. If he pulls up for a 15-20 foot shoot, he HAS to hit it. That's what he gets paid for

Reality Check. This is a good team fighting for their lives and they don't lose at home. I have zero problems with our Big Three. As above CP did a good job on Steph. We played with no heart because of the Sterling BS and we got screwed. What this game is about is who wants it. A battle of wills. They really don't have alpha dogs and we do. Break Curry's will, frustrate hm easy win. This is not a walk in the park. Fouls will be a problem. With Hedo gone Granger or Dud have to step up. I'm concerned but if there is a game 6 we destroy them. I predicted us in 6. Hope I'm wrong

CP3 is guarding the best player on the GSW and running around like a MAD MAN. He has pretty much locked him down and hat's what we need him to do MOST in this series. Also, keep in mind that Curry isn't guarding CP and saves a ton of energy on defense. Chris does whatever his team needs to win, and so does everyone else on this team, which is why this group is so special and we will win a CHAMPIONSHIP.
