That wouldn't fix our team. We would have the same problem of a ball-dominant PG.

GSW wasn't very good either, but better the us, plus we had 12 TO's to their 8. Everything affects the game, lol.

That's what he should be doing. I have defended blake from charges that he is soft...but i think his response to physical play proves he is a shrinking violet

Him guarding Blake over Lee has completely changed the complexion of the series. Blake was having his way with Lee and we looked like we could dominate them. Now, he is the Blake of last year anytime Green is on him. It's sad to watch. Why can't he just get physical back instead of being pushed around by the smaller guy? Just sad. I thought Blake had gotten past this and could adjust. He's not adjusting and playing caveman ball.

if we see the problem, pretty sure doc knows it as well. after this game he'll make some adjustments.

nope, can't be a laker fan, he didn't get the amount of championships right. That usually comes routine to them by now.

It's sad to see. He doesn't even really try to do anything against Green but the moment Lee is on him, he lights up and does his thing.

Not much Doc can do if your supposed mvp candidate can't even score on iso situations against an unknown. Blake is not even trying anytime Greenis on him. Like he is already defeated mentally cause he knows Green is tough to shake. Green has been guarding Blake since game 4.

I guess if 3 Hockey games are forced to 7 game series, why not the NBA?

This is very simple. If you want to win an NBA title, YOU HAVE TO WIN GAME SEVENS. It is part of the shakedown process. Champions win Game Sevens. Chumpians don't.

So the Clippers taste the first test if this is to be a Title run.

As they say in the ads, "Win or go home."

Short of the refs calling four quick fouls on DJ and BG, we will win this first important test.

On many of the Questionable calls Lawler didn't complain except Matt's foul that wasn't called. A technical in a game like this is inexcusable. They didn't allow Blake to get to his sweet spot. Remember they aggressively trapped him and forces ?3? TO's in a row. We were not able to play inside out. This was an adjustment that Jackson made and it worked. We got zero points in the paint. They shut down our original plays forcing us to go to option two or three late in the clock. Why didn't we kill them inside? BG got shut down. He's not weak. Smith mentioned running plays for DJ. He could have gotten their bigs in foul trouble. When you're jacking up jumpers you get long rebounds and less certainty of getting them. Why were we out rebounded? They were the better team tonight. Our stars disappeared? maybe but GSW played good defense. Our bench took a rest. Granger is worthless. Unless Doc can find a way to punish them inside we have a problem but we're a great home team as is GSW. Remember they had no bigs. Much of the next game is on Doc's shoulders

All u need to relax Clippers win by at least 20 on game 7. We will be home and focused.. CP and BG will dominate.

We should get a huge T.V outside of Staples for people to watch like the Raptors do. Then inside have Ryan Hollins cheap shot the **** outta Curry after they hit Chris.

This game was so painful to watch. Blake looked scared the whole game. We better not lose to these chumps.

Tough loss tonight. Oh, well. I trust our team in game 7 with home court advantage. We'll come out sharp and we'll grab the win. No way have as many early turnovers and allow this many offensive rebounds.

I wish Curry would have screwed up that FT miss attempt. Then I would've liked to see a lob pass to DJ for a game winner... How awesome would have that been???

Maybe that was why he was released from the Pacers.

I was wondering if you were a Laker fan or not, then I noticed that you said they have 17 Championships and I instantly knew you were the real deal. It truly takes a Laker fan to not know how many rings they actually have.

Whether it's 16 or 17....it doesn't matter because your I.Q. most likely doesn't exceed either of those numbers, meaning you probably can't comprehend what I'm saying right now anyways.

BTW...does anyone here have the foggiest idea why DJ was on the bench most of the fourth period?

How, exactly? He only played just under 4 minutes tonight. The only explanation for him playing this little is that he's injured now. I think we'll win on Saturday and after that, Granger will have at least one or two games in which he'll have a significant impact. That's not bad for a trade deadline pick up.

Tonight was really GSW's first legitimate win. In game 1, Blake was in BS foul trouble. If it weren't for those horrible calls, we would have won. Game 4 was just set up for us to lose. What team could have won under those difficult circumstances?

Game 7s are suppose to be the time where the crowd matters. With that I'm am nervous about the atmosphere. I am usually one of the loudest ones there, but the 100 sections seem like lame ducks. Hope I'm wrong and let's get this game and series!!

I know sports fans have a really short memory, but you can't be telling me that you've already forgotten what happened to Lebron in Games 4 and 5 of the 2011 Finals, right? To the untrained eye, that was the very definition of playing hot potato with the ball. In reality, the Mavs just had a really good defensive strategy to contain Lebron.

Similar things happened tonight with CP3 and Blake, plus Blake had a terrible shooting night.

There is nothing like a game 7. Staples will be rocking and the crowd support will be there. I just hope our guys show up.

Artsy wrote: ..."Funny how Warriors coach Jackson is under pressure and your overrated coach who's only claim to fame was beating an injured Laker team in 2008. He hasn't done anything since..."

Let me give a juvenile response to a juvenile post: DOC HAS A RING, JACKSON HAS NONE. NA, NA, NA, NA, NA...JACKSON HAS NONE. NONE. NONE. NONE. NONE. NONE. NONE.

Maybe you do not understand the word NONE. It mean ZERO, NADA, ZILCH, 0...

(BTW -- the Lakers were not injured in 2008. Unless you mean Adam Morrison. Who was as useful to that team as Jim Morrison.)

It doesn't matter who you get if Blake doesn't get tougher mentally. CP would be fine with Blake going off every game but watching Blake the last 2 games has show the bad tendencies I thought he got rid of this season. I'm not oblivious to Cps deficiencies like you are to Blakes, and I know he is limited. But if Blake doesn't step up, this team won't go far no matter who he has.

Lol lebron had the ball created a play and passed to the open man. He was being criticized for not taking the shot. BG gets the ball and don't create a play. He immediately look for CP or Jcross to bail him out

Its one thing if GS won with class , but they never do !! Doc wouldn't put up with that crap !! Gm 7 will be that much sweeter for US !! They will come out focused and it will be a series win for us !!

He wasn't brought in to be the Granger of old, where he could go off for 25 points. You're right in that he was released for a good reason. When we got Granger the realistic thing we should expect from him is about 8 points, solid defense, and and a few rebounds. He has been doing that all year long, but last night he did have a terrible game.

This is a problem, no doubt. I don't know if Paul has been a more passive player since coming to the Clippers, or if perhaps we overstated his abilities while he was in New Orleans. He has always maintained good ball control throughout his career, and he has very few turnovers to every assist, but his passiveness is evident with this squad. I really think this may be a problem, especially in today's league where shooting is vital.

My problem with Paul is that not many people seemed to be observing the same thing with him. It's as if he is given a pass from criticism due to the big celebrity he is. Hopefully he can get his shooting touch back, but thus far I am a little worried the way he has played, and next round won't be easier with us likely facing the Grizzlies. We will need a better shooting performance from Chris to win this series

I was wondering the same thing. During the game, I just figured he had 5 fouls too, but then when he finally came in I realized he only had 4. While he was out the warriors were just pounding us inside. SMH

There was 2 plays that involved Matt Barnes that as they happened I thought would come back to affect the game.

  1. Matt hit a 3 that was changed to a 2

  2. Matt getting called for the tech

I know the game wasn't determined on those 2 plays alone but they stood out the most to me. Blake needs to play smarter.

I'm trying to be optimistic, but I'm nervous about Game 7's outcome. It could go either way. I really hope all our players play well from beginning to end and win.

This team has a Jekyll and Hyde mentality. The first few minutes we were on a 14-7 run...then we made four turnovers. The fouls, and missed shots all led to a horrible finish. I was baffled
