I know about DJ. I also know his size/athleticism/skillset is rare.

Can't really say the same about Thompson, but hey, if they can snap him up for a 3 year/18mil deal, I'd take a shot. Something tells me he'll go for more like 4/30 or even more on Steph's coat tails.

Bad deal as far as I'm concerned. Glad we're not the ones who have to decide on him. Don't think he'll ever get much better.

Boozer wasn't used properly in my opinion. With the arrival of Taj they didn't even need Boozer. Tyson on the other hand played for the Knick and we know how that went. I just threw....

Agree. Replacing lee with an even slower Carlos boozer doesn't make any sense.

That's precisely my impression of the Warriors: A bunch of immature kids who are bad winners and sore losers.

I just want to say thank you to ClipperKyle. A big high 5 too.

I didn't follow this thread live, but now that I checked the previous pages, I'm disgusted. Kyle was great, trying to keep everyone positive, and to keep rooting for the team. There were way too many, " the season is over." posts. Ppl were giving up, "I'm gonna watch the fight now." Ridiculous! I was definitely stressed out during the game, but was very hopeful. Not to mention, the score/ deficit was

never out of hand.

There was even a moment when ppl turned against Kyle. Ridiculous!Nice job staying positive, and never letting up, Kyle!

props to you Clips fans for staying positive! My family jinxed it by having the TNT broadcast to start, but I switched it to Ralph and Mike for the 2nd half and I think it made the difference Wink

LOL, I somehow think watching the TNT broadcast is "Bad Luck" myself, I don't even turn to it during the Game. "Phew" "man" I felt like I was playing out there with them, my hart strings were pulled in so many ways today, allot of highs and lows, belief and doubt and then belief, definitely the hardest game I've watched in a while. I don't mind losing but losing to those guy's would have been tough to deal with.

Man they got it done..... DJ "Man" who knew he could do what he did this series, they had no answer for him.

GS should package D. Lee, H. Barnes and 1st round pick for another Stud. Possibly S & T for Carmelo. Draymon and Melo is a compatible forward combo. Make that trade for Love, and try to low ball Minny because Love is unhappy there. Try and swing something for Greg Monroe. I think they have options just need to be creative.

Parlez-vous le Frenchy merde?

There were maybe six GSW fans next to me. They were cool but boy did it feel good when I left with the Win Grin on my face. Every time GSW opened their mouths we shut them up. Why should they dismantle their team? With Bougot they're dangerous and Steph is a major star. Klay has the heart of someone who has no heart and the maturity of a six year old without a pacifier. While Jackson should be the spokesman for Summers Eve the premixed, premeasured, DISPOSABLE douche he did a great job and doesn't deserve to be fired.

Hats off GSW

I had very few around me, none right near me. But one sumbeatch tried to trip me in the concourse (I have really goo balance for an old fart and I don't go down),they seemed to want to pick on the seniors in the crowd. They were Loud and obnoxious to be sure. I seemed to have given the"table for one salute" to more fans last night then in my entire Clipper fandom. Soon as I walk into Staples they are roaming the concourse mouthing off so I fired back. My wife was pissed I stooped to their level, for about 10 minutes until she started mouthing off at them too. Good times. Typical bay area big mouths. But that team will be one to reckon with for a long time.

The game was an absolute fun thing to be at. Back and forth but wow did our team come our roaring in that 3rd period, total shutdown. Seems like CP# found that extra drive during the break. I was so proud of them when I was walking out of there.

PS: they did better when I was int he concourse then in my seat,I spent a lot of the 4th doing laps around Staples. Even the fans around me noticed they did better whenI was not in my seat,I took one for the team.

There is your basic bay area type mentality and people. Next weekend, if not at a Clipper game, I get to see those cretins at Dodger Stadium.

Yuppy! You might find this extraordinary but staying "positive" or showing emotion on a message board isn't going to help the players on the floor. I know it sounds absurd but calling people disgraceful isn't trying to keep everyone positive. Nope, it is usually going to get a negative reaction especially from someone that wasn't alive when some of us were going to the Sports Arena to watch Clippers games.

Finally, technology has improved enough where now you have Pip (Picture in picture) to be able to watch 2 things at once...Crazy, I know. I guess what I'm trying to say is that some of us take this way too hard and sometimes, sometimes, we say things out loud. That doesn't mean we should be called disgraceful. Thanks for cheering that on. lol

Strangely enough, I did the same thing but for other reasons. My TNT feed on Charter blacked out. I had to switch to FSN. Turns out that is when things started to turn. I also turned down the volume to watch the fight but as soon as we got the lead, I turned it back up.

Last night was the most satisfying win for me as a clippers fan for the past 20 years. I live in SF, so all my friends are warriors fans, so that plus the whole sterling saga made last night a pretty unbeatable night.

On to OKC!

Clipper Joe, I never said any"one" was disgraceful. You may have misinterpreted what I said , but I was saying that the idea of giving up on the team, that very thought, that very notion,....

Will we have any ability to keep up if other good teams land Melo or love this summer without losing anyone? I'm still not sure this summer will be fruitful on the free agent front if players won't come here. We still have hat sterling stink on us.

potato potahto. Look, i really don't have anything against you but for a couple of your acts. You have a tendency to call out people specifically for their actions...errr...their feelings at that moment and make objectionable remarks. Then you claim innocence. That's my problem.

Saying "it's time to watch the fight" didn't merit you or anyone else saying that was a disgraceful act. Yes, it was time for the fight. Yes, i wanted to get myself out of a funk. Yes, I was overly reactive but I didn't go after anyone in my remarks...You did. Calling my words an act of disgrace from a fan that probably wasn't born when I was a fan is a hard pill to swallow. I was here when we barley won 19 games a season. I was here every day during our bad times. I have a problem with a someone who just got here telling me or other long tenured fans and members that their feelings, opinions, and acts are disgraceful. Maybe if you endured years of futility as long as some of us have, you'd understand some of our frustrations.

I just find it funny that someone said we would lose 2 minutes into the first quarter.

Nothing wrong with being frustrated but some people here literally said that we would lose or it was over when there was so much time left. lol

Its one thing to say we are playing like ****. Its another thing to say that we loss when we have two quarters left....

Best thing in all of this that I woke up in a great mood. Literally feel serene. This was the series I wanted more than any other series in the past few play-offs. I feel great going into OKC no matter the outcome. Don't take that the wrong way, just saying I don't any anxiety over this next series. that's a great feeling. Now I can enjoy the rest of the play-offs.

^I don't think your comment was wrong at all. I don't understand how some fans can just give up like that when we have so much time left. You were only calling out the guys who said the game was already over.

Know exactly what you're talking about dude. Been sick to my stomach this whole week and today finally feel good. Pressure on the opponent now, I feel a lot better as the underdog and I like this matchup for us.

this was an amazing game, amazing series actually. DJ is my MVP but really proud of our stars and both SGs as well.

Do you guys realize the score was 115-111 with 45seconds left? Final was 126-121 so 21 points were scored in those final 45 seconds. Fittingly crazy end to this series.

I agree that DJ was the MVP with BG and CP3 sharing 2nd place. DJ was our most consistent player.

I didn't realize how dominant he was but he averaged 12 points/15 boards/4 blocks and he shot over 50% from the line. Mighty impressive.

Compare that to what Noah and Hibbert averaged in the playoffs. lol

One season ago if someone predicted that DJ would be our MVP in a playoff series I would have told them they were drunk.

When ever I have evil thoughts about our team not coming out of the gate and being behind at the break I always think,27 points against MEM so anything can happen. I remember that game and the quote of CP3 in the 4th looking a VDN saying "I got this".

The CLips used to just play a 3 quarters game. They could have been Champs a million times if the game was only 36 min long. But that was then. Now that 3rd quarter is where they come out roaring. As long as we are within 10 by the 3rd,we got this.
