It's do or die time for both teams as the playoffs between the Clippers and the Warriors go to the decisive game 7. Behind what will sure be raucous crowd support at Staples Center, the Clippers look to bounce back after a disappointing game 6. Superstars Blake Griffin & Chris Paul will need to be sharper, and it would help if the defense can create turnovers, and that offensive rebounding by Golden State is minimized.

I'm discouraged TBH. Game 6 was ours had EITHER Blake or CPe stepped up. For them to be invisible and us lose by 1 is terrible. Although we should win at home. We cut ourselves short of 2 extra days of rest and prep for series two.

this time their has to be urgency, its game 7. if blake is a no show again, we all know what that means.

Typically refs let the players play in Game 7's, definitely gonna help us body up on their perimeter players and get out in transition. With the crowd going, we should be able to build an early lead. If it's close at halftime, pretty bad sign.

Last time I felt this unconfident about the series, we won by 40. Good sign, I guess?

Blake has to figure out Green and CP3 has to stop overdribbling and being passive or the season is over. It's that simple.

im hoping they're going over tape non stop. blake has to wake up before its too late. he's been ball watching for the last two games.

The only way we win this game is if Blake and CP3 both score 20+ each.

CP3 has disappeared all series. We really need him to be aggressive on Saturday

same of the players body language has been slightly bothersome. I'm hoping to see a little more bounce in their step or be in a defensive position rather than standing around. Also, they should be tighter with the ball, it's been pretty a relaxed control of the ball. They must take care of the ball with a sense of urgency, they are going to have to want it way more than GS.

I just want to see them be less timid, and I think they will be. 12 turnovers is no big deal, but the nature of them was horrible... pick up your dribble, look around to each of your teammates who all stare back blankly, force a bad shot or pass... rinse and repeat.

I heard someone say we were playing "hot potato" with the ball... actually seemed like quite the opposite to me. Like the potato was a couple of days old so everybody kinda stared down at it for a few seconds then, said "Ew, I don't think I want this". Give me hot potato over that any day. Ball movement, man movement, defensive rebounding... that's what will win us this game, and we WILL win this game.

Why do you think that? We got shut down. Why should it change?

Unless Doc solves the riddle of small ball we got problems. The Sterling Day loss maybe showed that we don't have a champion's heart. Would Jordan or Bird or a host of greats have let that bother them? NO It would have pissed them off. A champion makes no excuses. My Laker friends always say that we fold during PO's. Maybe we do. GSW outplayed us considering Steph played almost the whole game and they have no bigs. We got out rebounded. We should have destroyed them. Kudos Steoh. If I weren't a Clips fan I'd be pulling for GSW. The only game that they WON was the DTS game. We lost the rest. You can't say Paul sucked, Blake sucked. It's a team. In a championship team somebody steps up. The better team won. Why do they keep us from getting into our set till only 10 sec are left and we need a bail out three? Unless we play inside out we're screwed. Give the ball to DJ inside. How much does Steph have left?

There is something wrong here. Admittedly GSW is tough to beat at home BUT. A loss didn't surprise me but I expected a dog fight. I'm really worried. As I said in a previous post I felt comfortable that we would crush them in Game #7 Now I don't, this is a game of wills not talent. We may go fishing.

CP3 needs to stop settling for threes and drive to the damn basket. Blake needs to face up and dominate Green. That's how we are going to win this game.

Mike Smith said in the pre-game broadcast yesterday that he expected this series to go 7 games with Clippers winning out in the end. He's usually been correct in a lot of his analyses so I hope he's on the mark on this one.

I'm still nervous about this game. If Blake can get out of his funk and return to his MVP-caliber playing ways and CP is healthy enough to compete well like the Point God he is AND the bench produces, Clippers should win this game and move to the second round.

Defense, defense, rebounds, rebounds. Get the win, Clips!

You could list many factors why we lost yesterday, but when you lose by one point it is hard to point fingers. 4 turnovers in a row, make it 3 we win. DJ make 2 of the missed freethrows, we win. Blake doesn't back up when he didn't see a player behind him,no foul, maybe we win. Little nitpick things that point to being sloppy.

I feel the refs called us way tighter then them (they got the home cooking we never seem to get) but we seemed to spend the game outside looking in and they seemed to be able to run in, push us out of the way with no calls, and score. Blake holding the ball and waiting for someone to double team him so he can pass it when he should have gone in (seems like he doesn't want to hurt their feelings at home). The swarming double teams of their shooters stopped int he 2nd half. NO more double teaming Stephanie, letting her get open shots. Stupid things.

We win game 7 because we rarely do those stupid things at home. Play the Clipper way, easy peasy.

PS: those going, see if we can count the number of Dud fans that get tossed for being arseholes.

Talentwise this game should be all Clippers. But Flake Griffin hasn't showed up in 3 games and is playing like he could care less about a championship right now.

I assume ticketbrokers own a lot of the seats at Staples as they jumped on the bandwagon a while ago and bought most everything they could. I say that because I never see the same people twice. Even the known STH behind me haven't been in their seats since the 2nd month, not even for playoff games. The sad thing is really there seems to be so few of us in LA they our fans won't even snap up....

The best way to build a bigger actual fanbase is to stop choking and letting everyone down in the playoffs like we've done the past two years.

And to get rid of the Fakers. Face it, they were here first and better then us for decades. If we would have been better in the 80s and most of the 90s and beyond, we would be looking down at them. Everyone would have been Clipper fans. But we basically are a 3 year old team, with a fan base struggling to get its foothold in the LA market, many many new fans. A couple of more phenomenal years like this year for the Lakers, and the moving on of Kobrick may change the landscape a bit. I saw a lot of people in Laker gear at OUR playoffs NOT rooting for us. All those stupid 24 jerseys have to fade soon.

Which plays to my response. They were the bay area's one trick pony so suck or not, they are the team. Our beginnings need time to shake off.

Ah, the franchise has won 3 NBA championships in their history and have been in the PO's a hell of a lot more times then the Clippers.

Dude! I feel you 100% that is one of the "perks" of tickets on the visiting side. I also think a lot of our die hard fans are of the older generation causing them to be less verbally outgoing at games. If people like you and me do our jobs and set the tone hopefully come Saturday others will follow.

I have no idea why everyone is freaking out. I always believed it would take at least 6 games for the Clippers to move on. An unexpected game 1 loss and a loss that was handed to them due to our current owner Sterling. Those 2 losses were unexpected. So I have no problem with this taking 7 games. We beat this team by 40 points and there is no reason why we won't win by at least 15 points. The pressure is on the Clippers. That's why they will come to play and win by at least 15. The crowd will be loud and alive. The Players will give it there all and will come out winners. They will move on tired which will cause them to lose game 1 against OKC. Come back rested and beat OKC. Then it will take 7 games and they will beat OKC in Game 6 but most likely 7 games. They will move on to beat San Antonio also in 7 games. They will then move on to beat the Heat in 6 games and the Clippers will be the 2014 NBA Champs. Remember this...

I am not 2 years ago we beat Memphis on the road in game 7. With a idiot coach VDN. We have Doc Rivers and we are at home. It would take a miracle for GSW to pull it through. I really doubt there is any hope of that happening.

I really felt our 50-50 chance in oracle, but as you notice they barely beat us in in game 6 with a very bad game of our players in their court so I believe game 7 is ours.

Also I have always believed Mark Jackson is a great coach. But he does not have the experience of Doc Rivers and he is under a lot of pressure to win. Which will make him nervous and unable to coach correctly. Plus the Clippers are the better team and have the better players. They will come alive. I can almost guarantee it.

I felt the same exact way. Oracle is a difficult place to win. We only lost by 1 pt. Our guys played bad. Normally great players bounce back. Especially at home in a game 7. You will see all the players come alive and destroy GSW. Like I said Clippers will win by at least 15+.

This series should have ended in 5 if the Donald Sterling fiasco didn't happen. But I guess we will have to beat them in 7. I seriously feel like I will have a heart attack if the Clips do not open with a big early lead and beat them by double digits.
