This may not even be a topic, just ramblings form a hungover fan,but I am wondering if there is something to selling the team that could make it a real battle.
We know that 10 person board recommended the sale. We know the 29 owner are probably going to meet this week to take a vote. We know a new CEO is going to be appointed. We know DTS is a jerk and there is a good chance he may fight the sale as it is sort of a hobby with him.
But the wrench in the gears I suspect will be Mrs Sterling and I wonder if anyone thought about it. To paraphrase "Shelley"," the NBA did the right thing appointing a CEO. this will help to turn OUR TEAM back to the glory franchise it is. AS A CO-OWNER I want to see everything done to get our team back to where it was."
She uses the phrase "co-owner" a lot now in interviews. So, a wrench in the gears or the ramblings of a lady trying to set up her payday?
I wonder if she sees how Jamie McTurd lost out when Frank settled her divorce then mad a billion on the team, money she never gets a piece of. Shelly doing the same thing?
