I already mentioned there was no doubt he would do that, and somehow get on this board under another freaking name.

Dude needs a life for a billionaire with a Lamborghini and all the girls in the world at his fingertips. At least he's not delusional.

So you're saying you feel better with Paul guarding Westbrook than if he had to guard Reggie Jackson instead? Alright. I think the Thunder were 34-12 (74%) with him and (72%) 24-9 without him. not much of a difference there. No what the really telling stat is their record when Westbrook takes over 20 shots. They are like a .500 team when he's over 20 shots but when he 's under 20 shots , they are like a .800 team. I can't find the stat but the disparity is huge. If Durant is on, there's no reason for Westbrook to take that many shots. It's when Durant's shots not falling that Westbrook has to try to pick up more of the slack.

Anyway, Westbrook is kind of an enigmatic bi polar player sometimes. Dude is the first guy to ever have a triple double in 2 different game 7's, has two triple doubles this series alone, and some people say its not enough.

I just put on a t-shirt from last year's playoffs and the sponsor on it is the Commerce Casino,am I supposed to take the arm off so the logo is gone? My wife says we should get State Farm insurance so we can drop them in protest of them not coming back.

this game screams OKC blowout. clips had to deal with game 7 + DTS drama + CP injuries. OKC just stay put.

Didn't Reggie Bullock do a decent job on KD during the regular season? Give Reggie a chance. I am scared of arren Collison (no D) and Jamal Crawfor (no d) on Westbrook.

looks like Thabo is back in the starting lineup to guard CP3.. If that's the case, Westbrook better put his running shoes on!

i think the one big positive is just being able to drop the mental baggage from the last series. all focus should be on basketball now.

Yep, JJ's going to be running off ball screens the entire game. I bet Westbrook will foul JJ or JCrossover on a three at least once tonight.

What, will Westbrook have trouble staying with a guy like Reddick? I can't think of a single guard in the league who Westbrook can't stick with athletically. He loves to run, it's what he does.

Running freely and running through big body screens is way different...we'll see how he likes fighting through blake, dj, and Big baby...

Yeah, plus hopefully all the extra running he has to do on defense will take away from his already selfish offensive game. Whenever I watch Westbrook, he'll make one play that amazes me and then a mistake or two that amazes me in a negative way. I think CP3 will show why he's the best PG in the league.

I hope Doc tries putting CP3 on Durant for some stretches.

If the goal is to block Durant's shot, you've already failed. Nobody is gonna get in his face and alter the guy's shot. We need someone that can stay in front of him and keep him off the free throw line. With Barnes' reputation, he's gonna be in foul trouble as soon as he matches up with Durant. CP3 won't get those ticky tack fouls, and he has a great chance of stealing the ball if Durant tries to go off the dribble.

Put Barnes on Westbrook.

plus Russ has a bad tendency to get lost on defense. Sure, he's athletic as anyone in the league, but he's bound to make a few mistakes and the Clips have to make him pay for it.

True, I guess running through the screens of 265 lb 7-1 Gasol and 260 lb 6'9 Randolph were like, going through air or something.

Westbrook received tons of criticism for his lackluster defense during that series.

If his shot isn't falling, he makes up for it by shooting more. 25 points is a lot, but on how many attempts?

The dude averaged 22 points on 17 shots all season long. It happens but not every game does it happen. You just have to hope he's having a bad shooting night. Either way, if his shot isn't falling, he still remains a factor by stealing, rebounding and assisting. He also still demands someone to guard him at all times, whether he's having a good night or not. He will always be a factor.

Indeed but not every game, he did some good work in some games. I guess if you are lucky he won't play D in this series. There probably won't be huge amount of D this series anyway, you think CP3 is gonna keep Westbrook from attacking? THis will be a high scoring high flying series.

heisenberg, take this from me one Clipper fan that is also a fan of OKC. Westbrook is awesome Durant is Unbelievable, If both teams come to play this will be the BEST series in the entire playoffs, and who wins between the 2 of us goes to the Finals. I would say that they can even win in the Finals but West is just always so taxing on their teams, while Heat just coast till the Finals. This gonna be a dogfight, and I look forward to it. And me fellow Clipper fans, let's not start another Fan War with OKC, Warriors were begging for it, but I respect OKC, and I believe they respect us too, so let's act like it...

Meh, I think Durant could just shoot over CP without much trouble, considering he's almost a foot taller.

And I'd rather Collison be put on Westbrook, because he has the speed to keep up with him. And no to Barnes on Westbrook as you might as well put a a cone to guard Westbrook, because that's what Barnes is going to look like as he would consistently get blown by.

Well put. The Thunder are a very classy organization, and in all the games I have attended I have never had a problem with their fans. Provided the OKC fans don't come in to troll we should be good

No, but I'd have to believe that Westbrook doing that for two straight series would eventually wear him down.

Pretty in-depth offensive and defensive analysis of both teams from Zach Lowe, centered around Blake and Westbrook...

Except he didn't have to for a complete series because the NBA made sure ZBO was out for the deciding game. I want to see Westcrook run smack into Baby and see what happens.

Looked to me like he did it all series long. OKC is no stranger to quality big men, memphis has about as good a tandem as anyone and they both play D. Your bigs, while bosses on the offensive side aren't defensive stalwarts.

Blake has to return to form rebounding Even it cuts out of the easier transition offense we need to avoid second chances.

It's on TNT tonight though, not ESPN. They're both about the same to me though.

Great points. All those OTs couldn't have been easy. I didn't even think about the flight times. I know they're flying on first class private planes, but the back and forth flying must be pretty tiring.

I'm be keeping an eye on Durant to see if those 46 MPG catch up with him. I don't care who you are, that has to be physically draining. Especially since he had Tony Allen guarding him tight the entire series. I hope Barnes and Granger hound him all game.

Referees: Danny Crawford, Jason Philips, Michael Smith

Unless that's OUR Mike Smith, we can't expect any favors.

Danny is the black one right? I watched him and Joey call an OKc game separately and those two do not give Durant any calls

Interesting that Lamb hasn't seen much time during the playoffs. Earlier in the season he was regarded as a big x-factor for OKC, but I wonder if his production wasn't anywhere close to what they wanted.

I have a feeling you're going to see more of Dudley this series, especially if Turkoglu can't go this series. I wouldn't mind seeing Bullock get some minutes. I have better faith in Reggie making a big shot than Granger at this point. Reggie can provide a little defense too.

If it is JOe E Crawford or MArk Davis they may as well stay in the hotel room. We already know the human insect will draw more fouls then our entire team will. OKC has nothing if it ain't home cooking..
