After a long drive over the city of L.A. still feel depressed but not as angry. If this was game 7 and we lost this way I would have been broken. Chris Paul just has to fix this game 6 I don't know how and I don't care how its done but his ass better get us a win. Refs are whatever give us some extra calls and I'm good we just can''t choke again.

Let's put things in perspective. Read this through and you will, I guarantee, feel much better.

Question One: What was the task after Game Four?

Answer: To win one game on the road, and one at home.

Question Two: What is the task now?

Answer: To win one game on the road, and one at home.

Question Three: Has the task changed?

Answer: No.

Question Four: Who WERE our opponents?

Answer: One great player, one good player, one dirty player, three bums and three referees.

Question Five: Who ARE our opponents going forward?

Answer: One great player, one good player, one dirty player, three bums and three emasculated referees.

You see, the NBA knows how blatant the dishonesty of the refs were and cannot afford to have their product further diminished.

Thus, it is likely we will see much more even handed officiating. Don't expect it to shift our way for both games. But likely we will not be playing five on eight.

If we are playing anything remotely resembling five on five, we will win.

And all we have to do -- repeat after me --

Is win one game at home and one on the road!

In the wake of my raging and frustration earlier, I posted this on my instagram. made it myself.

***this is my prediction on how the series will end up being if the NBA continues to officiate games and let things like what happened tonight happen again***

The refs didn't make Paul foul Westbrook on a 3, try to flop a shot from half court while having timeouts, or pass up a open jumper and get striped on the last play. People would of hardly mentioned the OKC calls in the first if we won. We got calls like Crawford leg kick, the westbrook flagrant on Blake and some hard hitting no calls. They had homecourt and got calls this team mentally played not to lose instead to win and got beat.

Props to Westbrook and Durant for not giving up.

I hope you're right that the refs would be fair. This series would be over if that was the case. That's why I give OKC credit only for the game 2 win. In order for justice to be served in this series is for the refs to favor us the next 2 games. If OKC beats us with refs in our favor then I'll give them credit.

I understand your point on the Westbrook 3, but that what Reggie Jackson did was a little more than a tap..

He had an open jumper on a shot he had just made couple seconds ago. He clearly looked indecisive after he passed that up and lost control of the ball. If he wanted to go to the rim at Ibaka he should of made sure he had the ball secure while going into his body.

Yeah... let's congratulate them and denigrate our own players, despite the refs literally breaking the rules on the most important play of the game.

Agree he could have done that but based on the actions that took place, a foul is a foul. Complete miss call.

Yeah game 5 sucked. A lot. I've been a loyal and faithful clipper fan for 7 years now and man this shocked me. But, I'm loving my team's success, they're showing us that they have the capability of winning a championship. When they have that sense of urgency and drive, they're almost impossible to stop. Yes, we had game 5 in our pocket and the refs simply just robbed us. But do we want to give up on the team that easily !?

They've gone through hell and back, just to throw it all away. Doc rivers is not gonna let his team down at all and I trust his drive, I trust this team's drive. This clipper team is passionate, they portray the definition of a team in and out of the court, and I honestly have not seen that in a clipper team. Ever. They're more than just a team they're a family that is just going to get stronger by each obstacle you throw at them, they're not gonna back down. They're not going to go down without playing their hearths out and this series is far from over in their minds and hopefully on most of the fans.

Let's take game 6, and go to OKC and take game 7.

Please let's not give up on them.

Honestly where would OKC be without their FTs? They literally won the game off of FTs! I believe the Clips wholeheartedly can win the next two. I am not worried about them, I am worried....

For me, that was the last straw. I know it's hard for people to let go of the nba, but I will not support a league/establishment that is dishonest and untrustworthy. They rake in Billions each year, and they know there are plenty of sheep that are addicted to the nba and have attachments toward elements of competition, so they will do as they please because they know others cannot let go of their attachment and or addiction. Same with the NFL, people keep on complaining about Goodel and his rule changes and his agenda in protecting the leagues bottom line, yet they still flock to the games, buy merchandise, watch on tv. That is why these leagues are filthy rich. The refs in the NFL are also piss poor and instinctively I feel they are trying to cover spreads for the gambling establishment. I am quitting both leagues at the same time. The more we let things slide because of our subconscious tendencies and need for deep rooted gratification the more these guys will laugh to the bank.

Stay faithful if you please, but there comes a point when one has to make a stand given what that individual knows.

**** the refs.

This has got to be very embarrassing for the league so I expect us to win game 6 with us getting a lot of the calls to go our way. And I still have hope that we can win this series. Hopefully Chris bounces back, but he looked devastated after the game.

Are you blind? Do you not see the pic posted where Jackson's hand is pulling Chris' arm away? Yet you still try to blame him. You are missing the point completely.

He also thought CP should have given it to Blake for dunk, when you can see Griffin is too busy setting an illegal screen and is far from "open. If anything, Reddick was the one who was wide open but I don't think there would have been enough time to get the shot off.

I was travelling and didn't get a chance to watch the entire last 2 games so I can't say for sure but did watch most of the games. I watched the end of game 3 and it was already a complete crap show at the end so it really didn't matter then. As for game 4, look what happened we won. Darren collison and Blake griffin saved us. Also Blake griffin was fed the ball twice by cp3 that led to low post shots, but this usually doesn't even happen that often.

One other thing that baffles me, how do you barely play Darren collison after his huge game?

Let's look at it this way, guys. Had we won this game, the refs would never allow us to win game 6. Either way, this was going to go 7. They just chose to screw us in this game so that they won't have to screw us in the next one. I feel like a Sacramento Kings fan right now. Hope I am right ,though.

Are you a Clipper fan? Paul clearly got fouled and you are saying he should've held the ball to his body? Really? Dude got wacked on the arm. You tend to lose the ball when that happens.

Absolutely. And given the circumstances, a foul should have been called for approaching CP3. Still can't believe how disgraceful the NBA is, no honor at all.

roll Blake didn't save us. He actually almost cost us the game by hurrying another shot with less than 8 seconds left, when he could have held onto the ball and drained most of the clock. He got an easy shot to the basket because CP had just scored 6 straight points. CP dragged us back into the game and Collison finished it.

please stop saying the refs cost your team the game when according to the rules, the refs clearly made the correct call. there were a lot of calls against clippers and against Blake that wasn't called. we have both been robbed during the games. we will just have to play it out and may the best team win.

Out of the 25+ years I've watched basketball, I have never seen this rule called. I'm honestly curious if anyone has any memory of this rule coming into play in the NBA?

Also, when I watched the replay about 1 billion times, Barnes hits the ball AND the LEFT hand of Jackson, then the ball hits the RIGHT hand of Jackson and goes out. It really boggles my mind because it is so clear that the ball went out on Jackson, and the refs still did not over turn the call.

My friends and I always joke about "the man" controlling the NBA, and I always knew it was true to some extent -- but some of the calls in this game were so blatant that it's embarrassing (another call that I really didn't understand was the clear path foul that happened).

I have been watching basketball since the late 80's and I don't ever recall this rule being enforced either. Based on my experience, the refs simply look at who touched it last. So I don't know anything about this rule and never did. It's all about who touched it last.

This play is basic physics. Barnes hit the ball towards Jackson and if Jackson did not touch it, it should've went the same direction the ball was heading when Barnes hit it. But it didn't. Which means Jackson had to have touched it. I'm still in disbelief. Tony Brothers is not that incompetent. He blew it on purpose.

Paul should of took the first shot when he had it. He over thought his move and he didn't get the call. Its sort of karma on that last play for when Paul hit curry in the gut for his game winner attempt.

If Blake pick is so illegal why are we worried about the Jackson hack. They let everything go and Blake should of been looked at as the option to draw contact and finish.

not when you hit the left hand and the ball goes out on the right. If that call was made with no replay,I wouldn't complain, but with replay clearly showing it.....

Never leave it in the hands of the refs. We have two games left either we take care of business or we go home yet again with a second round out. We will see if this team can come back

If anything this team should of learned to never stop being aggressive. Paul wasn't bitching about the refs because he knew even outside of the blown call we had that game. If Chris and the team truly want to be an contender they have to bounce back. No complaints about refs all game 6 just go play and win.

I woke up today more angry at Chris Paul than the refs. We were in control and bone headed mistakes took the game out of our hands. He did choke. This was the best chance he might ever get to get out of second round. I doubt we win game 7 the stakes are much higher, if we somehow pull it together and win tomorrow night.

Chris Paul deserves blame too. He should be blamed for making the game closer than it should have been. Still doesn't excuse the blown call(s). We can live with the calls that were made without replay, but with the replay clearly showing Clippers ball, how can they justify making the call they made. Highway robbery.

Us coming back or not doesn't depend on us, or the Thunder for that matter. Both teams will come to play, the team that is "allowed' to play will win the game(s).

This.

All this ref talk holds more ground if it was a tight game the entire fourth and closing. We lost this game being overly passive and poor judgement with the ball. Up 7 with the time left there is no way you lose that game. If OKC were shooting 4 point plays from the refs or calling offensive fouls on us non stop then we were robbed. The Thunder forced turnovers and defended or late in the clock shots.

Clippers should of never let it become up to the refs with the lead they had. The blown call is even a non factor if we played legit defense and don't foul a three point that was rushed.

In a perfect world, yeah, we should've never put ourselves in that situation but we did. And in a close game, where every possession can determine the outcome of the game, the refs screwed us big time.

That's odd, when Tony Brothers was interviewed about the last play, he never mentioned ANYTHING about that rule. According to him they couldn't see conclusive evidence who it went off of.

On top of that, that rule doesn't say anything about getting hit on your left hand and the ball going off your right hand Wink

70% of people think the play was a bad call. I thought it would be closer to 90%. But I guess you have to account for all the OKC fans, Warrior fans, Laker fans and other fans who hate the Clippers.

Yeah, but it did. And it's up to the refs to make the right calls. If we lose this series, CP3 will remember what he did more than anything else. He won't even care about the call cause he did let them back in the game. But it still doesn't change the fact that we were jobbed by the refs. Even with all those mistakes, we still should've had the chance to win the game.

There were a ton of bad calls against us, but to really top it off -- how is it that there were 2 video reviews (clear path AND last out of bounds play), and BOTH were BLATANTLY called wrong against the Clippers?!?!

I'm still steaming over this. I can't get over this but I really hope the players, especially CP3, can put it behind them and blowout game 6.
