I said the Clippers would win in 7. I was heartbroken about game 5, could not focus or concentrate afterwards, now we have to win the next 2. After seeing how poorly OKC played in game 1,4 & 5, I have no doubt we will prevail. CP3 is going to come out tomorrow playing like he's possessed. He'll fire up his teammates and they are going to win @ Staples and OKC. Clips are the better team, just had bad calls last night. Watching ESPN NNL votes just came in "yes Clippers can win the next 2 games".

Go Clippers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Fully suspect Paul to go insane and win it. Game 7 is the legacy game is where the game 5 hurts the most.

The rigging in Game 7 would make Game 5 look like child's play. We're done.

Ya that was the death rattle. Wow. Whole season up in smoke in less than a minute to play. This was a bigger choke than okc on Sunday

Agree. He's not going to be stopped in game 6 as he's going to try and redeem himself. Plus I expect calls to go our way as the league has to be embarrassed by the blatant rigging. We are going to win game 6.

Doc said it best, by saying that we made our own mistakes obviously, but that was a series defining call and we got robbed. Yes, it should not have came down to that call, but the refs took plenty of time to look at a replay that clearly showed it was our ball. Then the refs took another opportunity to screw us. Good job refs. You did what you usually do, F%*# it up.

How did Chris Paul let this happen? Why was blake a non factor down the stretch? Why did Crawford chuck such bad shots? Why did the referees screw up? How did doc let this collapse happen? These questions are haunting. The only way is for us to win next two games to make amends but there is no way that happens I think. This was the game to steal

Jamal sums it best. I hope the Clippers are galvanized over this travesty and win both Game 6 and Game 7 to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

I don't know if we're done, but definitely the rigging is likely to happen if it goes to game 7. We could still overcome it though, since we are the better team.

I know how the players feel....in a small way.

I play on a men's soccer team, and adult rec league. We're the one mostly 'caucasian' team, where most of the others are from Central America. The refs are also Hispanic, and Spanish is spoken 90%, except for our team, most of whom only speak English. Week after week we see similar calls and non-calls by the refs (often the same ones), who after refuse to explain their decision, or tell us to stop complaining or we'll get a caution. We've also had refs that refuse to speak English.

I only mention this after watching last night. It's tough to throw everything you have into a game, only to watch a third party steer the result and help decide the outcome. In my case, I have the option of moving leagues or not playing. It's not my career, and I actually pay to play. But I have a choice.

Sadly The Clippers, and us fans, have no choice. I'm not going to stop watching or supporting my team. But my confidence in the league has taken a huge hit. As much as I respect Silver for what he's done to rid the league of Sterling, I can't help thinking other forces are at work.

I still believe in CP and the rest of the team. Don't forget the huge minutes he's playing, against Westbrook who is the most physically pg in the game.

Exactly. Okc fans are too blind to acknowledge that. Majority of unbias fans agree with the above.

That's the one thing, mentally, I know that every player in that locker room feels that we are the better team and we deserve to advance. If we're given any kind of favoritism in game 6, we should crush the Thunder.

I understand a lot of people want a fair reffed game, which i would actually be happy with. but we deserve to be favored by the refs in game 6 and 7 to make up for the rest of the series. That would show justice in all of this ridiculousness.

I don't agree with 86 all the time, but this is spot on! Unless the ref pattern changes, it will be extremely hard for us to win game 7 in okc. Possible but difficult. With the sterling fiasco and one sided reffing most of this series, it's a lot for anyone to overcome. Hard to expect us to win unless the reffing changes which I doubt.

It really burns me how in L.A. radio we get little to no sympathy on this reffing. On ESPN LA all we have is Marcellus Wiley and he gets drowned out by all the Laker shills. Everyone focuses on the Clipper mistakes made in the last minutes but totally discount the ref mistakes. As if ref mistakes made no difference.

What do you expect? ESPN is a Laker station. No one there cares about the Clips except Wiley. I tuned in today hoping to hear our local station backing up the Clips and all I heard them say was how justified the call was. I had to turn it off.

Does anyone know if a protest was filed? I know this is a massive longshot but it should be done to at least put the league on notice (as if they are not already).

They should file a protest. There is precedent for it. I mean if you aren't gonna punish refs then you may as well get a do over.

In a way, this remind me of Clips defeat during second round at game 5. Where Clips were up by 3 with less than 5 secnods to go. Mike Dunleavy decide to substitute Maggette for Daniel Ewing and boom! raja bell took it to overtime and gave us one of the most heartbreak defeat. Hopefully, this wouldn't be the case this series.

Go Clips! I have faith Clips will win Game 6 AND Game 7!

And if someone told me otherwise, go screw yourself!

I stopped listening like at 11am when Thompson and Willard were defending the call.

Everyone should flood social media with demand for a replay and cite prior games

Public pressure is what finally got NBA to act on Sterling, maybe it can get them to act on this too

I would really like to see a lot of signs at Staples protesting this stuff in game 6. At least remind the world of the injustice.

Thompson and Willard are extremely bias towards the lakers. And dismiss anything that supports the clippers. They are blind and ignorant.

People here are complaining more than lakers fans do.

The clippers still have a chance to win. They just need to win the next two games.

Ralph's been waiting for this for decades, and the f*cking refs rob him of it.

I hope you're proud of yourselves, refs.

I hope the Clippers filed an official protest of Game 5. At the very least the NBA should grant a do-over on that last 11.2 seconds. It's the only way the NBA can save face --- this travesty was too great not to do anything about it.

I gave the league a little piece of my mind. Clips should win the next two. We played great! FOR 47.4 MINUTES! The NbA better watch out before they lose all credibility ....

There's no replay of the final minute, that despicable game is in the books. It's best left as an indelible mark on CP and the other Clippers, as supreme motivation. I really think CP will have a career defining game!

What I'm curious about....is the league going to fine Doc for questioning the refs? That seems the standard, and would be telling if the league suddenly decided to "let that one go".

Baseball analogy here:if a team has a 7 lead and commits a bunch of errors in the 9th to give up 5 runs, does that mean that they deserve to lose? Mistakes were made all game. Bottom line is with all the mistakes they made,it was still a 2 point lead with what should have been a Clippers ball.

What is left to say? What bothers is me is that there were multiple calls. You go to the replay and it is hard to argue anything but Clippers ball, that's #1.

#2, Chris Paul is fouled on the arm by Jackson which is why he lost the ball:

#3 Chris Paul fouls Ibaka before time runs out, about 2 seconds left, but no call is made:

Now how can you miss all three, that's just too much. Redick was REALLY open btw Sad

I hope not. The announcement after the fact doesn't do the Clippers a darn thing. The damage has been done. (This doesn't need to be said but) This isn't the first (and will not be the last time) a game changing call should have been made but wasn't.

That's different because it was ALL on Dunleavy. This was the combination of choking players and corrupt refs... it's a lot worse.

The only proper baseball analogy would be if we made a few errors but were up by 1, than the refs turned a single into a two run home run, than ended the game after two outs in the bottom of the 9th.

A slim chance, but a chance... I posted my prediction: Clips by 7 in game 6. Clips by 12 in game 7.

I've been thinking about that, too. Doc actually made a really smart move by being so vocal... even if it ends up costing him a lot of money.

On the one hand, the league can't have high-profile coaches calling attention to inept (maybe even crooked) officiating, yet if they fine him they HAVE to address the question of "that call". It MUST lead to a change in the rule at minimum... if a defender slaps the ball away from a player and it bounces off his knee and goes out of bounds, does THAT player get to retain possession, too?

That is effectively what happened here... Barnes slapped Jackson's left hand ("part of the ball"), then the ball careened off of ANOTHER part of his body and changed direction before going out of bounds.

As we all can see:

  1. The rule was not invoked by the referees either in real time or after the game.

  2. Even if it had been, it would have been interpreted wrongly as it is currently worded.

Matt Barnes slapping Jackson's left hand did not "cause" the ball to go out of bounds. Another action that occurred afterwards DID.

I want to hear what they have to say about this.

There's always a chance. CP knows he messed up and he's not letting the ship go down now.
