Did you even watch the games or are you just talking out of your ass? Explain to me how the thunder looked like the better team game 3 when we were up going into the fourth qtr by 5? They won on a comeback victory in the 4th and it was a dogfight the whole game. It looked like an evenly matched team. Last game okc jumped out to a 22 pt first qtr, but after that we played them well and made multiple comeback runs, but just didn't get over the hump until the 4th qtr. ....

Fair enough, but I like to also give them their due as far as flaws. Their game gets really stagnant and predictable when Durant and Westbrook play hero ball. If it doesn't doom them in this round, it will in the later rounds.

That's a different topic but true. I don't think Brooks will ever lead this team to a title. He really has no offensive scheme nor does he have any post up players. Two big holes. Maybe they will win it all in a weak year or a fluke year where a couple of strong teams gets eliminated.

Coming to a clippers fan site and saying the team they are playing is "clearly the better team" is not a great way to stay out of arguments

Nope, he'll probably try some other bush league move tonight and get away with it again. It won't matter though. Blake's about to show him why he was a MVP candidate. When Blake is aggressive and he plays with his face to the basket, Ibaka can't stop him. Don't know if anyone, except maybe Lebron, can stop him in that situation.

I know it's off topic, but can I just say the pistons are so dumb to make Stan can gundy their doc rivers? How is he qualified for that?

SVG in my opinion was the 3rd or 4th best coach in the league when he was in Orlando. When you are in the spot that the Pistons are in you do whatever you can to get a top tier coach.

Yea people forget SVG lead Orlando to the finals with Dwight and a bunch of over the hill/medicore

talent around him. (Hedo and Lewis)

Dwight now has Harden, lin, parsons, and other solid role players and can't get out

of the first round.

He doesn't have the gravitas of Doc. Doc is a personality.

Maybe, but SVG is still a very good coach with or without the gravitas.

Hope he doesn't go to our arch enemy, err rivals...GSW.

Sorry, but i have to be objective. Without it, what's really the point? IMO, the Thunder have been the slightly better team this series.

Don't sweat it. People have their opinions, and yours is not off-base. The series is 2-2 (as they also were in the reg season), so clearly the teams are at pretty close. I think an argument can be made both ways here. Yesterday, it was me against the Clipper world when I said Ibaka did not punch Blake on purpose. I am the biggest Clipper fan you will find (especially up here in SF Smile ) and have been for years (see when I joined as a brief example), but I try to be honest with my opinion.

I almost never text but I guess that means something like "too long". There is one simple solution,

Don't read it and scroll down.

If you have a comment please write it in something called the English language. If you count the words it's not very long but that's not at issue since we don't go by word count. If you have trouble with attention deficit disorder as it seems please see your doctor or take your meds.

You obviously read some of it because of the Durant comment.

There is a famous speech that starts "Four score and seven years ago" While I in no way compare my writing to this it's less that 300 words. I suppose that's too long and you didn't read it. Do you know what it is?

Ewes thee air owe sow yew dew knot sea it.

sorry here were no homonyms for "it" maybe s*it. It's less than 200 words.

I don't think Stan Van Gundy is even a bad coach. He's a pretty candidate for that job. I think he can actually find a better situation than Detroit. I like Monroe and Drummond and Stuckey is a nice hard nosed guard, but I don't think Smith is a good fit for that team. He's too set on shooting 3 pointers. ANYWAY, back to the Clippers lol.

OKC is not the better team. We split the series and we blew them out. We were screwed by the refs in the second game. They did not blow us out. Was Durant going to lose on MVP day?

At least on paper we're pretty even. If JJ and Matt show up and we get steady contributions from Collison we're better. Throw in Granger if he only gives decent defense and Baby if they can stay out of foul trouble. We FINALLY started rebounding. Teams are often scored on a lot in the final few minutes as we were in one loss because we fouled and they get free points. Don't let the final score fool you.

This more of a probability than a possibility. We have arguably the second best coach in the league and our home crowd rivals anybody.

It ain't over till the fat lady sings and I haven't heard an obese rendition of Auldangsine (sp). When have you ever heard of champions whining? Westbrook wiill be in seek and destroy mode. KD will be KD 30pts

I think JJ and DJ are going to be the two X-factors in the remainder of the series. We pretty know what to expect from CP3 and Blake and even Jamal to a certain extent (he might not always shoot a high percentage, but he usually finds a way to get into double digits at least). JJ had great games in 1 and 2, but he's been pretty quiet since. DJ finally had a big night on the boards last game, which helped us finally out rebound OKC. If JJ can score 15+ points and DJ can get around 8+ pts and 14 or 15 rebounds, we'll win tonight.

Although I fervently want the Clippers to win, they are facing an amped-up Thunders team deriving motivation from anger and embarrassment over losing 22-point and 16-point leads, as well as game 4, to the cold-shooting Clippers. Additionally, Durant had his pride injured with CP3's effective defense--regardless of whether he admits it or not--and will be in "I'll show you"-mode. With the home crowd behind them, I suspect OKC will win game 5, unless the Clippers can work up a similar amount of motivation.

Thunder don't strike me as amped up (no pun intended) They seem kind of rattled especially KD, Especially since he was guarded by a guy one foot shorter...

I hope the Thunder are amped up and angry, their emotions are usually their undoing. Hopefully Westbrook especially wants to prove a point tonight, whenever he takes it upon himself to take over the game, their offense fails.

The way I see it, OKC is one loss away from losing faith in their coach.

If JJ just shoots 5 for 11 tonight and 2/4 from three, we should be alright

I don't think motivation is a factor in this situation. Both teams know that this only 3 game series now. If either is not motivated enough now they should be worried. OKC is motivated after that horrible loss and we're motivated to win tonight so we can close out at home and avoid a game 7 in OKC. With that said, I think we close out at home in 6 or even on the road in OKC. I'm not afraid of OKC's home court and I don't think the Clippers are either. We won one in OKC during the regular season and game 1 of this series. We're ready for this.

after the MVP and sidekick showed their true colors during the post game interviews, this made me want the series even more. KD is soft physically and mentally. Westbrook talks too damn much. I just want the Clips to humble their asses down.

I do not want to sound too confident , but I am weary of this OKC team... But...... I believe we saw the best of OKC in Game 4! They had a 22 point lead,....

I wouldn't have Chris guard Durant the entire game since he would be in risk of getting in foul trouble and he would probably tire out from guarding such a big player. I would however, have Chris guard him at the end of a close game. It worked so well, I don't see why Doc wouldn't try it again. I know this might sound strange, but if we had Collison guard KD for the majority of the game? Even though Collison doesn't have the defensive intensity or ball hawking skills that Chris has, Collison is younger and faster than him. Maybe Collison could actually keep Durant in front of him, unlike Barnes, Granger, or Dudley. Collison seems to have the lateral speed to guard KD. Plus smaller players are usually allowed to be more physical when guarding a 7 footer. What do y'all think? Would this work at all or would it end in disaster? I'm just brainstorming.

Is so no to the Collison part. If he could not guard Klay Thompson how would he guard Durant? I think Chris down the stretch would be nice to see. He did great.

So you guys know why Doc isn't trying Reggie on Durant. I thought he played against him pretty well in the regular season. I mean I think he would be better than Granger. Is is a rookie thing?

Look for Durant to post up deep early and often. That was the knock on him for game 4 and his ego will ensure that he tries to prove his doubters wrong.

The key will be DJ rotating over in a timely manner to bother his shot, so we have to help the helper and grab every miss.

Thunder beat writer tweeted that Caron will start for Thabo. Sets up interesting dynamics...

JJ has to pay more attention to Caron defensively, but I think because JJ was cold at home, Scotty Brooks forgot what he can do. There's no way Caron keeps up with JJ running off screens. All we need is for JJ to do what he does, make open shots.

This also may mean Thabo guards Jamal, hopefully Jamal brings his handles tonight.

200% agree. OKC was pretty much playing their best (Durant and Westbrook werre on fire ) and came out with the right energy while the Clippers were just shooting poorly, like behind poor haha. I think we take the next two games. We are due for a big game and KD and WB are bound to cool down.

Like I said before it will be Clippers vs. Spurs to advance to the Finals

According to ESPN experts Durant has yet to have an impact-ful game. He is bound to explode. #MVP

Didn't he almost have a trip double in game two??? Had 40 points in game 4??? is averaging over 30+ for the series????

I wouldn't rag on Caron too much. Brooks set up play for him for 3 3 pointers on the fourth quarter of game 3.

So how many free throws is Durant going to get tonight? I say around 15, probably more.

We won because we played amazing offense, not because of who was reffing, so I wouldn't take too much from that, and of course I don't want to win a game because of the refs, always hoping for a fairly officiated game.

I think I have more complaints about the Warriors series than this one in that regards, except for the foul on CP early in game 2 or 3, can't remember, and some here and there, but they've generally balanced out.
