Yes a lottery team, the Clippers wouldn't win 50 games without Paul.

CP3 got robbed? LOL

Actually, it true. CP3 got robbed by westbrook trying to get cute by throwing up a three shot when he could have just dribbled until he got fouled. that was game right there. he gave the game and our chances to advance on that stupid play. Anything after that is irrelevant. If not for that play, we'd be in a better position or at least, playing a game 7 on Sunday. CP3 choked our chances on that play and he deserves the blame.

We also got to stop relying on so many old guys. Get Reggie going into year 2 and sign some young jumping jacks with size on the bench. Look at the Spurs and OKC they have young guys ready to step in and we relied on old min guys and buyouts.

Sucks to see it end that way. I appreciate the effort they gave under the circumstances, I know it wasn't easy. I just hope this team can stay together for the most part. Just get Sterling out of here.

Doc's press conference sounds like he wants to be here next year. "We're going to have our day. This isn't the end, this is the beginning for us."

  1. Keep the core together (I can't believe there are people really wanting to breakup the CP3/Blake tandem).

  2. Work with the NBA to finally oust Sterling.

  3. Upgrade the roster. This is the most promising thing, because there is much room for improvement. We need way more athletic perimeter players, starting with our starting SF. Also reliable backup bigs.

It was a disappointing end to a great season, but the future hasn't changed. It's still very, very, bright.

I think this team really needs to get back to basics. my biggest gripe is that our starting bigs don't box out if our life depended on it. Too much relying on athleticism.

LOL at you conveniently leaving out the championships that core had won before those playoff losses.

Duncan is a true superstar come playoff time. CP3 isn't.

Again younger like OKC and Spurs on the bench it was a shame we got nothing from Dud, Hollins, Green, and Reggie never really got a chance. Limit the buyouts and ring chasers.

We need a 3 and a backup big this offseason. Most of all we need Blake to take another jump.

Do you guys think the NBA is a fantasy league. These proposals, even in hypotheticals, are so ridiculous its funny. why would Portland do that dude, I mean come on

For all of you speaking nonsense... Here are the facts.

  1. Doc blew this game by not playing crawford this game.

Here were crawford stats

2-5 fg 4 pts - 2 assists - 1 steal

Matt Barnes -

4-14 fg

Reddick -

7 - 17Fg

Collison -

3-8 fg

Granger -

0 -3

Crawford was playing better than all those guys. There is no way to justify not playing the 6th man of the

year, our 3rd leading scorer, and our only explosive player off the bench.

The excuse that Crawford wasn't play well is a crock of crap considering the horrible fg% by

all the other wing players. I expect silly nonsense excuses from guys like ClipperJoe, but

some of you should know better.

Doc blew this game by Not playing Crawford, plain and simple.

You guys make it like we're so far away. This series was close with bad reffing in most of the games. With the possibility of some roster upgrades, we can improve next year to make the next step!

Duncan isn't even the best player on his team anymore and they were still in the finals last year. Shake it up every year and you end up playing catch-up to established teams with experience of playing together every year.

CP3 isn't going anywhere. Get used to it.

I know many of you are disappointed , but why are so many of you dissing Chris Paul? Many teams would love him right now!? He isn't a player you just say this stuff about!?!?....

Hypothetical trade scenario. We did this all the time on these boards when we sucked before cp3 and Blake. I see you joined in 2013 and are new. New to the boards or to being a clipper fan?

Cp3 definitely deserves a lot of blame but so do a lot of other players. We're not that far away! We can take the next step with improvement at the SF position and better backup bigs.

Of course it matters, I agree. But if CP3 ever left, one would have to assume that void would be filled. maybe not CP3 talent, but maybe a better fit.

OKC is in a unique situation. They have 2 of the top players that posses one of kind physical attributes that gives them clear advantages in their respective positions. Their advantages are so great, that they can get away with isolation plays and be successful at it. No other contending team can say that. Unfortunately for us, our 2 best players are considered undersized for their respective positions.

It must be Jamal's demeanor during games. He didn't play at all during the close out game against Memphis last season. Who knows. He never plays that much in close out games. Maybe he gets really nervous or something

I still think we are the 4th best team in the league behind okc, heat, and the spurs. Pacers are just lucky they had an easy draw.

I always enjoy your positivity around here. But if you notice, it's only the same select few that bash CP3. They see what they want to see and don't respond when you provide valid responses to their irrational hate.

They made the Finals last year because Duncan had a renaissance year and played like the best player on his team. In Game 6 of the Finals last year, at 36 years old, Duncan put up 30 and 17. A 36-year-old Duncan outdid CP3's entire playoff career.

It's easy to blame different clippers players but in reality OKC was just the better team. The credit has to be given to them.

yeah, they don't have to be super polished, but we just need some real athletes and scrappers at the SG/SF position. Guys like Demarre Carroll, PJ Tucker, etc.. Hopefully they can figure out this offseason. I'm excited!

Chris just took a shot at OKC, he said they are tough to beat because KD and RW live on the line. And they shoot more FTs than the whole Clippers team.

He got fouled when they raked his arm, they called a moving screen on DJ and fouled out our rebounder and rim protector. The OKC kept getting rebounds. This sh*t was all rigged. Just like Doc said "even with a comedy of errors, we still have the right to win" don't you get it? We got f*ckin robbed to the maximum degree and CP3 catches more heat than necessary cause the team lost. That stupid shooting 3 thing was dumb, but was not the only factor that made us lose in the last 3 minutes. We got robbed BAD.

It's all good as Blake develops and Doc helps everyone continue to grow we will be fine. What we did see though was that we need more rebounding and defense on the perimeter from a guy that actually has some offense.

We have old ass Barnes (whom I love) STARTING for this team when his offensive arsenal is almost as small as Tony Allen's. Except tony allen actually plays amazing defense super consistent. We need Barnes off the bench to provide energy and start a YOUNG ATHLETIC guard who's far more well-rounded. If the Heat can make it to the finals and lose and come back two years back to back and win it, anything Is possible. I have a lot of faith in his core group of guys. Every starter is worthy to start except Barnes, once we fix our SF spot I think we will be much better off. Barnes is too easy to stop on the fast break in transition

How in the hell do you not put blame on those two! I'm sick of fans not giving the guys who played into their roles credit when the stars were being passive. Paul and Blake had chances at the rim and decided to take jumpers or pass to someone else. DJ and Barnes held up the defense and tried to save Paul when Westbrook blew by or KD got open. Darren and Crawford have saved us at different times this post season.

Its on everyone.

Then maybe San Antonio will listen to a trade proposal roll

Pop is the best in the business at putting his guys in a position to succeed and Duncan is the GOAT at his position... but what really makes the Spurs a consistent contender is BEING consistent.

HAHAHA checking my status means what exactly? I can't comment on this board because I just decided to join on a certain date? Get out of here with that. You don't own this board nor the Clipper fan base to question anyone. That you have no answer to a simple question of why would Portland do that means you are just talking without thinking.

I was suspecting point god tonight but his heart was stolen in game 5. This team needs a fresh start and clear mind. Getting legit size at the bench PF and C is more important than anything done. Mike Smith talking about it now you need length even Miami has it if needed.

Yes but on the floor, count on Blake looking like the exorcist looking for people to pass it too instead of looking at the basket. true leader there

I kind of want to see another Miami-OKC Finals! I want to see LeBron whoop on that KD arse , but it would be kind of the end of the kings reign as Durant wins....

He means that trade scenarios/proposal threads is/was a common thing here. And since you just joined, maybe you would not call it a "silly" thing if you were around pre-cp3. I think he took offense to that. It wasn't to call you out on your join date.

Hell no from me he was making Clipper jokes daily as a Sun. Even when traded he threw Dragic under the bus for his personal under performance saying he plays better when he has a real PG.
