Two reasons the Thunder won. First and foremost, KD just took over. When he got hot, the Clips just couldn't stop him. It breaks your spirit when a guy pulls up and swishes a 30 ft'er. Second thing was Perkins getting into foul trouble. That is the reason Steven Adams played so many mins and he was a huge difference. The kid is freakin huge, and fearless. He played a really good, tough game. Him and Collison together are all the all blue collar front line that bring it.... I was embarrassed for the calls in game 5 at the....

It makes me feel better knowing how amazing the spurs are that they haven't won a title in 7 years and they came so close to last years title and they lost it. Shows you even the greatest of greats collapse too. Not just the clippers and f*ckin cp3 since apparently everyone here loves bashing players.

although the clippers have no legacy comparable to the spurs and our clippers haven't proved themselves like the spurs it just feels nice knowing they haven't won in 7 years and this is docs first year as coaching and Blake is ONLY 25. Lebron and MJ didn't win a ring til they were what 27-28 years old?

I got lots of faith in this clippers team going forward. We need a new small forward that can dunk like a beast, lock down defenders, and hit a three pointer pretty consistently. We need Barnes as our energy guy off the bench. He had 0 points in one game this series and in other games and been really streaky!! We need a guy that can pull-up with jump shots, slash hard to the rim, and just be more solid offensively.

Bad calls and missed calls. It happens in every game. I didn't like the off call on Westbrook last night in the 4th before CP3's and 1, but you have to move on and keep playing. Westbrook was spending too much time complaining about calls in the 1st half while the Clippers were going the other way for layups. I'm not delusional enough to say that OKC didn't get some favorable calls in this series. I even admitted that OKC was gifted game 5. The ball was out on Jackson. Was there a foul? Yeah, but it wasn't called so you give the Clippers the ball and play on. I didn't see a foul on Westbrook's 3 by CP3, but why even be close enough to put a question in the ref's mind? If you want to beat OKC you let Westbrook shoot jump shots and take away his drives. He might make a few lucky shots but mostly they are bricks. KD is a different story, where you beat him to his spot and be physical enough to try anything to keep him from getting hot. After he heats up, he can go on a quick run all by himself. He is the toughest guard in the league because of his length, ball skills, and unlimited range.

If you can admit that Game 5 was gifted to OKC, then you're good in my book.

Kevlawn...most of us here are not really complaining too much about the foul discrepency. We all expected it and we got it. It's more that the times they went back with replay and still decided to make the wrong call. That is what is so frustrating. That same exact situation happened in the GS series which arguably cost us game 1. We all accepted that explanation and moved on. Now that we are on the flipside of things, they change the rules and call against us again,in a critical point in the series. I know you said you also thought it was a bad call so this is not directed at you. Just wanted to share my frustration with the refs.

Not really sure what the hell the clear path call was about either. Makes it worst when Steve Kerr didn't even know. Things like that with replay pisses me off. I agree with Doc. Replays where implemented to correct mistakes. If they are going to make mistakes anyway, let's not have replay at all. It would have been OKC ball without replay but I would accept that more as a missed call then to have them look at it for 10 minutes and come up with the wrong call.

Yeah, bad calls, no calls, and missed calls happen. But when the refs had the opportunity to go to replay and still got it wrong, then I have a problem. I immediately said after game 5 that the Clippers got ripped off and I would rather lose than to win a game like that. It should be tied 3-3 and playing a game 7 in OKC. I actually thought LA would beat OKC in 5 because y'all are better at 4of 5 positions on the floor. It wouldn't have bothered me too bad because I've followed BG since high school. He was my favorite player on my favorite team in college too. I've liked CP3 since when the Hornets were relocated here because of hurricane Katrina. I would trade Westbrook for him straight up anytime and think he's the best pg in the league. I think DJ is the most improved player and isn't too far from being the top center in the league. The Clippers time will come in the very near future, and I will enjoy it as much as any true NBA fan. My 26 yr old son is a huge Laker/Kobe fan (even wears his Laker gear to games when they come to OKC) it tears him up when I've reminded him that the Lakers are even the best team in their own city anymore. I just hope that this owner crap don't disrupt your team anymore than it already has and especially doesn't run off Doc Rivers. Someone said on a board the other day that the NBA doesn't want the Clippers to do well because it makes them a more valuable team. I got to thinking and though I hope that's not a reason for the way things have turned out, it could turn out true unfortunately. We will see more as this drags out. I feel that sterling is going to fight this to his grave. Maybe the best thing would be for his wife to obtain the Clippers in the divorce and go from there...idk

I really thought Blake was our best defender this series. I'm excited to see how much he's going to improve next season, especially playing on Team USA under Coach K.

There's no reason why he shouldn't be able to average 28/11/4 next season.

CP3 called for traveling when he slipped on sweat,Clipper players called for fouls then OKC players trip on their own feet (3 times).

Also 3 times Russell body checked CP when he was catching an impounded pass and 2 of the times CP came up limping. No fouls all 3 times.

I remember those phantom tripping calls. It's unbelievable, the Thunder players were certain they were getting those calls, they had no intention of taking a shot on those possessions.

We didn't have the horses this season to make a run. Too streaky and brittle. No one wants to attack cup just want to hoist jumpers. That's not a winning recipe

The only positive is that they will probably keep Scott brooks. He is so geeky and lame. Awful awful coach.

Tim Duncan? Tony Parker? Manu? They attack the cup. Tony slices and fixes through defense and scores or kicks it out. We aren't the spurs. They also have better shooters. Whoever is their shooting coach should get a lot of credit they turn average or below average shooters into great ones

Yep, because Spurs Basketball is trademarked by slashing to the rim and not crisp ball movement and 3 point shooting??? Okay, nice try.

For every player you name on the Spurs that can attack the rim, I can name a Clippers player who does it just as well if not better.

THREE TIMES!! Three times last night Russell Westbrook tripped over his own feet and got a foul called in his favor. If I'm not mistaken, all three of those fouls (non-fouls) lead to FTs. That's the game right there. RefKC lives.

It's too bad our season had to end like that. I still think we were the better team. We'll be back even stronger next season. Let's just hope Donald Sterling dies soon.

Who on our team attacks the cup consider apart from blake? Dj doesn't count, he's not really a slasher he doesn't move off the ball well.

CP choked in game 5 but he shouldn't have had an opportunity to choke. This league is dirty. They were sick of talking about Sterling and decided to take us out. NBA = WWE. Glorified soap opera. I will not watch another PO game this year. Disgusting way to end the season.

Idk you tell me.

FG's in the paint in the playoffs

Griffin 80-136. Paul 35-66. Jamal 24-51. Collison 22-38. Barnes 20-34

Timmy 53-81. Parker 49-85. Manu 19-39

Ok rolling with your point - there is a reason we aren't the spurs. Their shooters are way more reliable. Their defense is superb night in and night out. Their bad free throw shooters make enough of them to not harm the team. They have the perfect mix of youth and experience. They have Tim Duncan. Our offense might be spurs-esque but not in the ways that count when it matters. They are a machine. We aren't.

So is ball movement and shooting a winning recipe? That's all I want to know

Perhaps if you don't have streaky shooters and have the right mindset. Not if like is you have neither of those things

Ibaka out for playoffs. Karma, dirty groin-puncher.

of course the less reliable the opponent sees your shooters, the more they are willing to cheat and collapse driving lanes, and the more difficult driving becomes, that's when you kick out, and your shooters either make them pay or they don't. Barnes and Crawford obviously didn't do a great job of making them pay in this past series.

Nor against Memphis. Try aren't great shooters. Barnes flat out isn't a good shooter. Crawford is a scorer - not a shooter

I wasn't gonna watch much of the playoffs, but with this news, heck yeah!!!!

I wish the clippers took out someone more significant, but Ibaka is vital.

Go Spurs!!!! Mwahahahahaha!!!!!!!

Never mind the NBA playoffs, you all should watch the NHL playoffs! Kings are back in the WCF!

We can go back and forth with that. The CP offensive foul in game 6. The DJ "Illegal screen" for his 6th foul. The play out of bounds. The refs explanation for calling it like that and saying they only saw TWO different views. The fact that hand is part of the ball, so no foul. The fact that the rule everyone is talking about doesn't apply in that play. The fact that Tony Brothers is hugging the other teams best players mom in pubic like nothing before the most crucial game of the series.

One thing is clear. The NBA didn't have the balls to admit that their refs are rigging their games (maybe because the refs are doing their bidding). They didn't have the balls to replay the final 11 secs of that OKC game 5 thievery (yes, I understand that is not the main reason why we lost that game but that 1% of the game was the difference maker).

I am with you. Great job by the kings to avoid elimination yet again. Though, it would have been sweeter if my Clips would still be playing.
