It'll be dope if we get him. I got a feeling he can be decent

Its about confidence and opportunity. DJ was drafted as a project and as most bigs was suppose to be molded. Doc gave him the confidence and playing time he missed in the VDN era and the learning behind Kaman.

Bullock getting thrown into the wind by fans is strange they want instant production with no minutes. Dudley, Granger, Barnes, Redick, Crawford, Collison and even Green had priority over him majority of the time. Doc gave him chances but he has yet to be given a true test.

Year two should see a boost of Reggie to see what we have or move him to fill a need.

He was the one that actually scouted for Olshey. Olshey picked the guys that sacks went out and scouted. He did the dirty work.

So he's the one that saw more potential in Aminu than George. Yikes

And he also found your "borderline all-star" Bledsoe at #18, so let's not cherry-pick.

Don't really understand the anti bledsoe sentiment. Is it to make you feel better since we got raped on the Dudley and Redick deal?

You're gonna see on a couple of months why that trade was good for us.

We can't afford a $13mil backup PG.

The problem with Bullock and the reason i was never sold on him for our team is he is pretty much strictly a catch and shoot player with a little D. We needed him to be able to attack the rim off the dribble and he couldn't do that, We needed Bullock to be a slasher which our team had none of.

Bullock was never suppose to be a slasher he was a 3 and d guy in college and always will be in the league. He did well against Durant and Melo in the regular season

Its not about the regualar season. Its about the PLAYOFFS! There are no Regular Season Champions.

Bullock is a scrub. No conscious chucker who doesn't have nba range it seems. If a team was willing to give us a useful Piece for him we should have done it.

I bet his value won't be as high next season.

If you read my post and the post I was quoting, you'll see that the point I was making is that he was a great find for an 18th pick. Nothing "anti-Bledsoe" about that, but if picking holes in my posts makes you feel better, have at it Very Happy

We need to draft a point guard. Collison is out of here.

No way. We can get a serviceable back up point guard through free agency on the cheap. As we've seen the starters play the bulk of minutes in playoffs.

I'd use it to draft athleticism or size. I'm against shabazz because i think he will struggle at next level.

Point guard is just about the last position we should be drafting, as it's the least important position on the court. We need wings, and until we get those, we're a second-round exit at best no matter how deep we are at PG.

Defense, that's what we need, and we should be drafting for a center above all.

I am telling you guys... Glenn Rob III is our man! Has more of an expandable game than Bullock. Bullock is catch and shoot. One dribble pull up type players. Glenn Rob is a great guy. I....

Gordon is coming out after his freshman year. If he came back to Arizona for a sophomore season like Blake, he may be more prepared for NBA. He is a raw product and will be a stud if drafted by the right team. More players should stay for a second year like Blake did.

That Is my thing with the age limit the League is trying to change. I think they should stay more than one year in college. They are grown men , and they should be able....

I don't understand why everyone seems to think that Glenn Robinson III is a good shooter. He shot 30.6% from deep last year on 2.9 attempts per game, while Bullock in his final collegiate year shot 43.6% from deep on 5.8 attempts per game. Who sucks at shooting now? I can understand if you would want GR3 for his jaw dropping athleticism, but just know that he is not a shooter.

BPA preferably at a spot of need. I think we trade JJ or Jamal during the offseason. If we find a PF that can play some minutes at the 5 then it works.

We need athleticism on the wings. That Is why I am licking my chops on this kid. Maybe he can be our Bledsoe 2.0 and that is one of the few 2.0s that are actaully referred to as a good thing

That's very true but give Bullock some time. He's a rookie and it takes time to get used to the NBA, don't expect him to be great in the playoffs when for half of it he didn't even suit up. I still think that we can develop him into our future starting SF, I'm not saying it'll happen this season or even the next but I can definitely see it happening, he's just a project. His D was solid during the year and it's only going to get better under Doc Rivers. As far as his 3, he's forsure not scared to pull up no matter how far or close the defender is, which is a good thing. Let me explain. If he gets better behind the arc we can use him in crunch time moments. It's just a matter of how much work he puts in. Hopefully he takes advantage of having a full healthy summer and works out with BG.

It would be extremely ballsy of Doc Rivers if he traded up to get Aaron Gordon and slide him into our starting SF spot even though he's a natural PF. Gordon has the defensive ability to guard the 3 & 4 spot immediately and has the ball handling, athleticism, and jump shot to play the 3 spot on offense.

He has a good chance of being a Kawhi Leonard for us. Kawhi is a better 3pt shooter, but Gordon can be a better rebounder and post defender against big SF's like LeBron and Melo.

Obviously this idea is insane and won't happen, but I would totally do this trade if the price is right and if Doc was crazy enough to consider it.

I kind of like the idea of taking Kyle Anderson from UCLA. Such a unique player at 6'9", ridiculous handle, vision and a jump shot. If we could develop him and put him in a position to succeed, guy is an X factor.

Anybody know anything about Adreian Payne or Dwight Powell? They look like interesting candidates for the draft, am I reaching?

agree that the idea of adding bigs such as Adreian Payne or Mitch McGary is appealing, and.... wary of their health issues.

think the inverse is true @pg, as given Paul's health/injury history, and Collison's contract status, that Shabazz Napier makes all the sense in the world. Personally think he might have some Stephen Curry to his game.

do like Glenn Robinson quite a bit, as think it was a mistake to drift away from Lob City, as Showtime worked just fine for the Lake Show. Robinson reminds me some of when Hardaway came out, and unfortunately went one pick in front of us. Also happen to think that (a starting) sf is a big need for us.

as far as speculative picks, would lean toward the likes of DeAndre Daniels and/or Isaiah Austin.

re: Doc and his personnel skills, am wary, and hopeful that Sacks has some sack, and the proverbial eye for talent.

and a big fan of both Jamal and Willie, and.... if we're moving anyone @sg, do think JJ is (way) overpaid, if someone would take on his contract.

For everyone wanting Glen Rob III, do you admit Bullock isn't NBA quality? They are essentially the same position/draft spot. Obviously I know Reggie is a shooter, while Glen is an athlete, but still virtually would play the same position.

I thought Boston had the 17th pick? I wouldn't make this trade unless Doug McDermott or Zach LaVine drop to that spot. Otherwise, I don't think it's worth it especially if we can swing Glen Robinson III with our current spot. Doug McDermott would be a great pickup for Clippers especially if we end up with Paul Pierce. Pierce can show McDermott the ropes for 1 or 2 years before McDermott takes over the 3 spot.

The only way I'd do this trade is if Zach Lavine is available at the #17 spot.

If not then I'd rather trade Barnes, Bullock and our 28th for the Kings 8th and draft Aaron Gordon.

The Lakers are probably gonna draft Aaron Gordon with the #7 pick. Although, if we get the #8 pick, maybe we can get Marcus Smart with it.

I would think the Lakers would rather have a PG, but if we ended up with Marcus Smart I wouldn't be crying.

I would want to trade up for Aaron Gordon for his hustle, insane athleticism and defense. He's a good passer too. He's a small forward at the nba level not a power forward I think. My biggest concern is he is almost as much a liability at the line as DJ. You can't win a title with bad foul shooting. That concerns me.

i always thought he was a shooting guard. every time i saw him play he was scoring 20-30 points. i like the guy don't get me wrong but as a UCLA fan i would love to have kyle anderson.

yeah LaVine has some talent. i think he's going to get picked earlier than people think. that vertical impressed a lot of people. if kyle anderson was quicker he would be so much better.

Kyle Anderson reminds me of PHX Grant Hill which would be exactly what this team could use. Who knows, maybe if we are lucky Anderson will turn out to be like the Pistons Grant Hill.

I like Kyle Anderson, mostly for his versatility and ability to play multiple positions, something that this team is lacking in.
