So we've seen BG improve his free throws [Good], face up game [Unstoppable] and mid range jumper [reliable] all in 1 season.

In the last game (game 6 thunder) he hit a nice looking 3. I believe this will be the next weapon added to his repertoire to the point where he will be given a green light to shoot it when free. Bank on it for next season.

Would you prefer a new 3 game or are people still wanting him to work with Hakeem?

I don't think having him shoot threes would be a very good idea. Blake's biggest advantage is his strength and speed. Neither of those are being used when spots up for a three pointer. He needs to continue to work on his post game.

How about he becomes an even better defender. I saw a lot of things i liked of him during the playoffs, more so vs OKC, and specially in the final game. His help D improved a lot from game 1. He still has room to improve and i know he will work on his O during his time with Team USA.

Rejuvenate the aggression and the motor he had his rookie year, additional post moves, and continue to increase his free throw and midrange percentage.

I like this idea of being an even better defender. I think he does have the lateral quickness and strength to keep up with durant/lebron. Less fouls from him would be great too

I want his defense to improve. He has stretches where his defense was good but also really poor stretches as well.

Also I want him to rebound the ball more especially in the playoffs.

Next step is be more decisive on offense, better defense and box out players better.

Consistency. He has times when he can do damn near anything, but he doesn't put it all together all at once too often.

Be nice to the referees. Say, "Mr. Referee, Sir...I do not agree with that call although you are an excellent, unbiased and brilliant HOF ref...but that clothesline foul that nearly beheaded me was not an offensive foul...although you might say it was offensive in the bigger sense...so, if you have it in your warm heart to reverse a call, might you please reverse it...otherwise....

GO F^CK YOURSELF, YOU AND YOUR WHOLE GODDAMN FAMILY!!!!!"

I would like to see him get back to being one of the league's top rebounders, but he's done such a great job improving in just about all other area's, I almost feel like it's asking too much of him at this point.

Defense and rebounding. He doesn't Have the wingspan to be a shot blocker, but he is big, strong and fast enough to effectively guard 3's 4's, and 5's.

There was a great discussion on Max and Marcellus' radio show (I cannot listen to 980 in the car; signal is too weak -- not exactly a "beast" LOL)) regarding LeBron James losing thirty pounds of mostly muscle mass. James' current total of only six dunks -- and being down in every other statistical category, especially rebounding -- could be explained by the weight loss. This sounded much like the CTB Blake Griffin discussions here.

Max attributed this weight loss to James' stopping PEDs because the NBA is randomly testing athetes this year. The same explanation for the weight loss and its affect on Blake's game might hold true.

Note that both superstars have changed their games -- more outside shooting, less inside banging -- to reflect their lighter weight. And both (until recently re. Griffin) were not in the MVP debate.

Max (as a fight announcer) and Marcellus (as an ex-NFL player and Roman Emperor) have quite a bit of expertise vis-a-vis pro sports, and both agree that the weight loss -- at least on James' part -- explains his statistical dip in the power categories.

If the weight loss can rightly be blamed on quitting PEDs, maybe the younger Blake can overcome the shock to his system better than the older James. Assuming the PED explanation has any validity, the results corroborate this theory almost to a "T".

Your thoughts?

Too many words. He will get charged a flagrant foul for talking so much.

That was said tongue in cheek. One can joke around when your team is a winner ya know!

Seriously, though...Blake has got to learn how to work the refs. His complaining act, coupled with the looks of , isn't getting the job done. Time for a different strategy. Like Christmas presents? LOL again!

Max is a joke. He has nothing positive to say unless it's about the lakers. I don't think lebron was on PEDS. He's on a new team and is pressing that's why his numbers are down.

It's like a couple years ago when blakes numbers were down and people kept talking about that. It was because they were blowing teams out and he wouldn't play the 4th quarter.

Its time for 980 to have a powerful signal; a powerful team should have a powerful signal. I can get it on my phone, then bluetooth it to my car's sound system. Pain in the butt. So I am stuck in traffic, stuck with Max. Such is life.

Valid point. Give fox sports 570 a listen. Petros and money give some clipper love. They are also on the heart radio app.
