Well, you guys have both Early and Anderson available. Who do you think the Clippers choose?

EDIT: Nevermind, looks like it'll be Wilcox.

Early and Anderson available and they pick freaking CJ WILCOX? I'm speechless.

Just watch, the Spurs will take Kyle Anderson and he'll **** on us for years to come.

He's a shooting guard we need wings, kind of disappointed we didn't pick Early... Watch the spurs turn him into the next Kawhi Leonard...

Cj Wilcox fml.

Either we suck at drafting or he is going to be traded. We don't need another short 2

He's actually got good size, and his length helps him block jump shooters...

Haha, if we are keeping him, then someone else is moving. He's not necessarily athletic or projected to have much defensive upside, a 23 year old, so not really sure about his upside, but he can shoot.

Maybe they are going to trade Reggie Bullock

I'm watching him block the sh*t out of jump shooters, and he's pretty good at dribble drive penetration defense, not TOO bad.

Ugh! We better buy a 2nd round pick and select McDaniels.

We needed a wing with length that can slash and shoot like Glenn Robinson, Damn Doc mix the team up a little.

I am very disappointed. I very well believe we should have drafted a guy above 6'7". Now another Bullock 2.0! Like ChrisCLipsLA said. SPurs will probably draaft Anderson and he'll be an All-Star.

There has to be a trade in the works

The only way to justify this hideous pick is if all the other 2-guards are being included in a LeBron trade. Otherwise it makes no sense.

Coming into the draft our biggest needs were a back up big or a wing player and instead we go with another shooter who can't play SF?I hope that means we are making a trade.Doc must have a lot of confidence in Reggie Bullock as our future SF.Didn't get much playing time but maybe he will be our Jimmy Butler which would be great.Butler also didn't play much his 1st season and then was huge for the Bulls his 2nd year.

Is Elgin Baylor working for the Clippers again? CJ Wilcox is the Koralev of this year.

Wilcox is a great pick if we didn't already have 4 SG's.

Please trade Bullock and $$ for a 2nd rounder. We need McDaniels, Early, Stokes, Grant or Taveras.

there better be a change and there is a trade. this is utter bullshit

Even IF we didn't have 4 SG's it wouldn't have even been a good pick. Should have taken Anderson.

Hey look at the bright side guys...at least we got a little bit taller. JJ is 6'4 and Wilcox is 6'5 Razz (Jamal is also 6'5)

I'm pretty sure we aren't going to pick up Willie Green's option with CJ Wilcox on the roster.

Well.... Wilcox is 2 inches shorter than Bullock.. but looks stronger, faster, and more athletic.. .so..

He's absolutely a better player than Bullock, but that doesn't mean we should've drafted him.

We screwed the pooch.

Looks like the guy can shoot it well from deep, off of screens, etc- so a good fit in Doc Rivers' system. Solid length and fairly athletic as well. I'm pretty happy with the pick, but yeah it remains to be seen how well he translates into a pro.

Of course he could end up being traded, or that JJ or Jamal might be. My guess is that if Wilcox is staying, Redick might be traded as he has a bigger contract than Crawford. Despite JJ's sharp shooting, it would be nice to have more length defensively at the 2.

I think we need to trade Jamal. His stock is high right now and we could do a sign and trade for Deng if he wants more than the MLE.

Then we use our MLE on Pau and our BAE on Blair

CP3/Collison

JJ/Wilcox/Bullock

Deng/Barnes/Dudley

Griffin/Blair

DeAndre/Pau

How can Doc not at the least get a tweener forward in early.

Guys, we are the third best team in the league drafting late in the first round. To expect us to get immediate help out of the draft is crazy. We are not going to get the backup big we need at the 28th pick in the draft. Nor are we going get the SF we need in the draft. Sure we have JJ, Crawford and Willie Green. That doesn't mean those guys are all going to be there next season.

Maybe Wilcox will be gone early. Maybe we will look at him in summer league and base the decision on what to do with him then. But the reality is at 6'5" without shoes as measured at the combine. He will list at 6'6" He's a big SG who can defend. Can he play in the league? Doc will see in summer league. If Doc likes him Green or Crawford could be traded giving us cap space for the SF or backup Center we need and he may be JJ's backup. That's the most he will be.

Why is everyone so disappointed we didn't get Robinson? We have plenty of mediocre SF's in Bullock, Dudley, Barnes, Turkoglu and Danny Granger available. Why add another who isn't good enough to contribute right away?

We have this old Clipper mentality of living for the draft. Those days are over. Sure, it would be good to come up with some guys who help down the road, but the reality is Doc isn't looking for youth anyway.

Is Wilcox the best guy for us? Who knows? We need a starting quality SF and a solid backup big. Neither of those players was available at 28.

Yup. This guy can be a really good player in our system. He can really shoot it and excels in catch and shoot situations which is what we need in our starting unit. He can also play d with his long arms and can really block some shots for us. Perfect 3 and D guy at the 2.

We still have some needs, but i think he fits great. Now all we need to trade jamal or jj asap with whatever else and clear some cap space for some better players.

And all of the guys that think this was a bad pick seem to think jj and jamal are irreplaceable. They are very replaceable and are some of our best available assets.
