At least that is a step in the right direction. If we planned not to pick up Willie's option that possibly was the reason for the CJ Wilcox draft selection , but still as Willie goes that gives us 1 less player to package in a trade.

Current Roster

PG - Paul - ????

SG - Redick - Crawford - Wilcox - Bullock

SF - Barnes - Dudley

PF - Griffin - ????

C - Jordan - ????

A Lot of holes in this roster , but atleast Green's decline will allow us some space in Free Agency and in Trades.

All Hopes For The Best.

The team remains interested in re-signing Green per RealGM. Honestly I think every team needs a professional like Willie. I wish he could remain with us , but he will most likely be out the door in hopes to improve this team dramastically.

With the Clippers. Every Penny Counts. Can't Wait Until July 1 at 12:01. I hope we get some nice Free Agents that actually complement the team.

It was obvious, he gives us more space under the tax apron, and if we want to re-sign him we can give him a minimum contract later. Don't know why we would re-sign him since we just drafted a SG, but we'll see what other moves are made first.

Giving Green the boot. Gives Bullock an opportunity to get minutes.

It's sad to me that the Clippers didn't pick up Willie's team option. He is the consummate pro and I respected him for that. I do hope Clips re-sign him when the free-agency dust settles.

I agree. But there's always a place in the NBA for a hard-hat guy like Willie. If we don't pick him up for the minimum, I hope he gets to go home to Detroit.

Yeah, that would be a great alternative for Willie Green to be home in Detroit. But still, if just for loyalty's sake (yeah, I know I'm dreaming because loyalty is a rarity in the NBA, lol), I hope Clips pick him up for the minimum.

Same thing I was thinking. I'm hoping Dudley and Redick are next moreso Jared than JJ.

I miss him already. True professional. I'm already liking our new Rooks attitude. He seems like he can fill Willies shoes right away.

Bullock should go to the d league. I'm sorry that guy should not be getting anything other than garbage time. What is the massive love towards him?

I'm glad for Willie that Orlando Magic picked him up off waivers, but sad at the same time that he is no longer with the Clippers. I really appreciated his attitude. Orlando is lucky to have him. Good luck, Willie!

People on here love the rookies and young guys no matter what. Remember Trey Thompkins? everyone here loved that chump. Same with that other rookie that we had that year that i can't remember his name bc he wasn't worth remembering. Thanks for those picks "Olshey the Great".
