Clippers Interested in Anthony Tolliver.

I Didn't create a new topic of its own , because I didn't think it would get far.

Sure, I'll take Anthony Tolliver for the Vet Min. Why not?

He shot 41% from 3 last year on a playoff team.

I'd prefer if we had another defending big to go along with Hawes and Tolliver, but I like the idea of having two 40% 3pt shooting big men on the court together.

Eh I've had enough Bobcats/Hornets Big Men lol. We sayed the same thing with Mullens and Jamison. Lets not go down that road again haha

Byron Mullens previous best 3PT year was 31% and Jamison was like 40 years old. It's not the same at all.

Tolliver is 29 and just shot 41% from 3 on a team that was actually not bad.

Does anyone know who Anthony Tolliver is? Heard we'd showed some interest in him

PF who is a decent enough shooter from the outside, won't make an impact though.

He was in Atlanta before Charlotte. He is an undersized 4 that can stretch the floor. He's a decent shooter. Too small to play a convincing 4 in my opinion, and too slow to play a convincing 3. I don't hate him, but prefer someone who can bang a bit.

I'd rather go for a vet. I think Elton Brand would make a ton of sense for us. I know we have our rotation, but a big that can play both big spots could be key. Elton would solidify us as far as Bigs go.

Journeyman F who splits the majority of his playing time between the SF and PF position, although the last few years it's been mostly at the SF spot.

Below average shooter who takes a majority of his FGA's (+65%) from 16ft and further. Below average rebounder and so-so defender.

He should be plan F in the Clipper scheme of things...I hope.

Tolliver would be okay, he's a tweener SF/PF. 3PT accuracy and shooting efficiency (41% 3PT / 60% TS) was really good last season. A little too slow for a lot of SF's, too small for some PF's, weak rebounder, but he's a good minimum end of bench type guy.

Yup, but that's the best he's shot in while. 11th/12th guy off the bench at best.

Plan F as I mentioned in a previous post.

Well, he's gone too- the Suns got him for 2 years, $6 million.
