NOTE: they have also done sf but we don't have a dog in those fights Last year, LeBron James topped our power forward rankings, which in a way was unfair to the guys who play the position on a full-time basis. But what are you going to do? James played the 4 more often than not again last season, his final in Miami. But now that he's going back to Cleveland, James has slimmed down and appears poised to reclaim....

I think it's BS how they have Amir and young in there but not Duncan and dirk yea there old but they play a whole better than those two do and are actually proven winners. Almost feels like I'm reading something off of bleacher report. One question though is that the order of the best PF? Do they actually have milsap and smith before Aldridge and ibaka?? ....

That's what I'm wondering, too. There's no way they think Josh Smith and Paul Milsap are better than Aldridge or Ibaka, right? ....

Horrible list, but it's to be expected from ESPN. Kevin "Stat-Padder and Career Loser" Love is even more overrated now that he's in Cleveland, unfortunately. It's especially hilarious how Blake gets dinged for "not performing in the playoffs" but excuses are made for Love never even making the playoffs. ....

I'm going with what @Jquick said this list is horrible and I couldn't have said it better everyone is constantly making excuses for love. He's never own or even proven that he could win! The one thing I will say is that minny is a pretty bad organization. Flight 32 I think doesn't get enough credit and....

Definitely funny how Griffin finishes 3rd in MVP race but still projected as the 3rd best PF

it really doesn't matter. People pick and chose the criteria for ranking players at positions. In the end Blake Griffin, not Chris Paul, was the catalyst that changed this franchise. Even Kevin Love with his amazing skill set didn't lead his owner to open the wallet and build a team around him like Blake did. I still remember during....

Even funnier that ESPN's panel "predicts" Blake finishing 5th for MVP behind 2 SF's and 2 PG's, but their formula "projects" he'll only be 3rd best at his position. Even ESPN doesn't trust ESPN's numbers. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_22 ....

Wow, that's just wow, can't rationalise it but if I had to try they are probably thinking best overall player doesn't mean being best at a certain position but that doesn't make sense, I guess it's like the Grammys eg, give best rap album....

Nah man it's cool don't worry about it. ESPN really likes to over value a lot of players who to this day haven't proven anything. There kyrie who espn was drooling over and I think last week came out and said he wasn't ever a leader for the....

Both Anthony Davis and Kevin Love are plastered all over ESPN due to Team USA and the Cavs trade. They gotta repay those boys for currently making them $$$. ....

They are both, they regularly play both. On a list like this where put them is fairly arbitrary. Duncan played most of his minutes at center last year and but most of his starts came at PF, Pop rotated their lineup such him and Splitter didn't play together much. Davis played more minutes at PF,....

The numbers are starting point and most analysts will then subjectively adjust based on anything the automated systems might be missing, and they know their automated number systems are missing things. Nowitzki and Duncan are at an age where most players decline sharply and suddenly. That might not happen because they are both aging well, so maybe they don't they should be ranked higher,....
