"It's important to note, however, that in order for the Clippers to have enough cap space to sign Davis to the deal verbally agreed upon, LA will have to renounce its rights to Corey Maggette and then sign Brand to a deal of no more than $70 million. Another option for the Clippers would be to sign-and-trade Maggette, which would then give the team the ability to renounce its rights to Brand and then re-sign Brand and also sign Davis with whatever available cap space is left."
assuming davis and brand really want to win. we sing mags and trade him and get a disent player or 2 for him. then renounce the rights to eb and then sign Eb and davis?
this is the most optimal way to go but with eb not saying anything so far guess it will be too risky |
