| I've been waiting patiently, like every clipper fan has, to finally see EB ink a deal with the Clips. I scour the internet whenever my busy schedule would permit, looking, searching, scouring for headlines that reads; "Brand stays with the clips" The dynamic duo of Brand and Davis is solitified" and so on. We, as clipper fans have welcomed Brand with open arms as our leader, "the face of the franchise", if you will, most in part due to his leadership and character. Lately, all i hear on this forum is people drawing imaginary scenerios in which the Clips org can somehow muster MORE money for Brand. How much more money does he need? If, and only if, Brand does leave for more money...I won't hold anything against Brand, but I will see right through him, how PHONY he sincerely is. Wasn't it he, that wanted the organization to sign a big time name?? wasn't it he, that told his agent that he wanted to be like the Celtics? Sacrificing a more lucrative deal for a chance at a championship?? And now that Davis has agree to terms with the Clips, Brand is having a change of heart and is STALLING. I don't care what naive people think, STALLING means, he's TRULY considering more money. EB, please be the man you claim to be - or everything you say is nothing more than a fascade. David, i agree with you...maybe letting Brand go is best. |

^^Er wait a sec I definitely don't think it's the best to let him go- it'd be horrible. There's not much longer to wait now- the deadline is the 9th. We don't really know what's going on behind the scenes, and there could be more than meets-the-eye.
I think in the end we're going see the Clippers introduce Baron Davis with EB alongside- soon. |

....there is awhole lotta assumption goin on in there. be patient my man, our boy has done nothin wrong yet. hes still the franchise baby |

i think it cant be official till july 9.
also there might be more behind the scene. i am sure clips dont want to just lose mags. so trying to get something in return would work. |

^^Yup makes it sound more "realistic"  In fact it could drag on beyond the 9th- the 9th is the earliest deals could be announced.
I do hope there's another plan in the works so we have the $ to sign more player(s). |

That would be cool. Tuesday we'll find out hopefully. Bring on the Clippers, it's time to prove some people wrong. |
