| Well, knowing what we know now, if we had it to do over again, and knowing our biggest need is now PF, who would we have drafted. The two best PFs on the board when we picked was Jason Thompson from Rider drafted at 12 by Sacramento, and Anthony Randolph taken by Golden State at 14. You might have even traded down to get one of them and picked up another asset. Thompson was a 20 and 12 guy at Rider. Randolph went for 16 and 9 in only one year at LSU. These two are starting to look even better now that we have a big hole in our lineup. |

In retrospect, trading EB for Marion/Beasley would have been good. But he would've had to agree in the first place, and we all see now Brand would have lied and refused to trade because it would have weakened the team he was entering.
I think Gordon is still a better pick than any of the rookie PF's this year (Beasley aside). I guess maybe KLove. I don't know. Maybe trade back for Wilcox. |
