| The Clippers are in a unique situation. Thay have cap space. Most teams would love to shed some salary. The Clips have the ability to take on additional salary in a trade while giving up perhaps only a future draft pick. What PF is available straight up for a future draft pick? Remember we have the T-Wolves pick (top ten protected next year, and unprotected thereafter). |

| Sorry a bit off topic but we can use that pick next draft and be guaranteed to select top ten? |

That is true, we do have a ton of cap space. But all the good players are gone, and next year is when all the teams are getting ready to make big offers to free agents.
It would be great to trade for a star PF, but with the nba draft concluded, I think most teams are pretty much set and getting ready for the upcoming season. |

^^Nope- it's top 10 protected until 2011 I believe.
But yup as we do have cap space we'll just have to sift through the possibilities and get the best player for us- which as Dano said could be through a trade. |
