Whoa that was a tough one to pull out, but the Clippers did somehow despite a 12 point, 5-15 shooting performance by Elton Brand. They did it behind some timely shooting by a flu-stricken Sam Cassell and Shaun Livingston. Shaun also chipped in with big steals throughout the game- you've got to love how he's really reading the D and getting a ton of steals lately. Kaman and Mobley bounced back with solid games, and heck even Singleton got in there and helped out.

But let's not kid ourselves- the team looked pretty bad against a team that's only 17-34. The Clippers were especially awful in the 3rd quarter, and had to rely on Cassell going bombs away to get back in the game. A lucky win I must say, and the way they're playing I'd be ecstatic if they can split the final two road games. That'd be amazing, and if they could win Wednesday against the Hawks at home they'd be one game over .500 going into the All-Star break to heal up. That would be pretty good all things considered.

With Maggette and Thomas out...and Cassell sick...and Brand playing poorly...I'll take the win too. At this point, the team needs to take anything it can. The trip wouldn't be that bad if the Clippers can find a way to win the next two. Hopefully they can do it.

As always we only win by 1-2 points I feel much better...Kaman had a decent game and Sam I Am simply gave us the opportunity to get the W.Nice to see Single getting some minutes although we know it's only for the absences of Gette and Tim.I hope he could get a game with more than 10 points to show Dumbleavy that he is valid player for our team...
