I just watched it on ESPN news, its continuing on NBA tv, but I don't have it.
Falk said Dunleavy told him DTS's offer and that it was take it or leave it. He also expressed that the Clipper organization said they would be just as happy if EB did or did not accept the offer. Falk said that it disturbed EB b/c that's not how you treat franchise players.
Later, EB himself said that Phily had been "on the radar" since last year. After he opted out, he called Falk at 12:01 and said, "Phily hasn't called yet?"
He also said his mom and wife are really happy to be going to the east coast. So it looks like he wanted to change teams, maybe to make his family happy and raise his new kid on the east coast.
So finally I can give my opinion. The Clipper management jacked up for not keeping the lines of communication open. EB sucks a big fatty for lying to us. |

| can't trust falk, or even brand for that matter. whatever comes out of their mouths mean nothing to me. since brand said his intention is to stay, why was Philly on his radar since last year and why would he call Falk at 12:01 to see if they tried to reach him. |

| Yea right this is BS. Why did it take them 24 hours to think of this. Even so why is brand making deals with players and gms if he wanted to leave. we should have fished him off while we had the chance. |

A little too late." as he had already committed to phili. Punk, seems like it was all about the money he didn't give a crap that they had to get rid of the whole bench to get paid. | He also said he heard them give him a take it or leave it deal, (something about him listening in on the conversations or something i did'nt get that i have to go listen to the interview again) and that he was offended by the clipper offer because they could have given him more but money didn't because they thought he had no other offers, and thus only came back with more money after the fact. To tell you the truth he sounds like he got strung along by his agent, i don't think he knows anything about negotiations or whats said in them. Dumbass. |
