There have been other reports out there but we have a direct quote in the USA Today in an interview given by Baron's agent, and he said that Baron was committed to honoring his committment to the Clippers. He will not comment furthur until a news conference that has been called by the Clippers on Thursday.

So Baron Davis, a SoCal boy born and raised, a UCLA alum, has loyalty. And Character with a capital C.

Good we need him more than ever now. With him running the team, we should be just fine.

    Look at it this way:

Baron is more of a leader than Brand will ever be ( proof: Sam Casell). We didn't mesh till we had a PG with true leadership. Now we have it.
Let's just say we traded away the face of the franchise for a true leader who plays the most important position
on a team. Now we have a true leader that can score as much as Brand and is just as likable. We can pick up the points lost by Brand with Thornton, Kaman & maybe Josh. I didn't mention Baron cause he will get his.

You're right CJ. Brand may have been the face, but Sam brought the PINCHE COJONES to the frachise, which is what I expect Baron Davis to bring.
