Yeah great question- I mean I have NBA League Pass and it won't have the game either- so odd that both the visiting and the home team are not televising the game. Usually both teams will or at least one of the teams will.

For some reason this game wasn't on TV so I had to listen to it on the radio. What is up with the Clippers this season? And I"m not talking about any one person...I'm talking about them all. The players, the coach, the general manager....the organization as a whole.

I think we all have come to realize that DUMBleavy is a bad coach. His offensive game plan is terrible. There is no ball movement, no player movement, weak screens to try to get players into postion. His offense is based pretty much on isolation...what happen to all the pick and rolls that the Clippers ran last year with Brand and Cassell?

Dunleavy has no idea how to use the talent that he has. In the Philly game, James Singleton was a key in the fourth quarter and helped get the Clippers that victory. He always brings energy and the little things (rebounds, blocks, hustle plays) when he comes into the game. So in today's game, with the Clippers lacking energy and Chris Kaman's continuing struggles on the offensive end, Singleton gets into the game for a whooping one minute. I don't know how a coach can be that stupid. Singleton would have matched up perfectly with Indiana's athletic big men, yet he sat on the bench. After watching how Dumbleavy coaches the Clippers, I can now understand why his Portland Trailblazers, despite all the talent they had, never made it to the finals. It wasn't because of the Lakers players...it was because Phil Jackson was light years ahead of him when it comes to coaching.

I have a lot more to say...but I think I'll wait awhile to sort out my thoughts. This team has me so frustrated because the talent is there (although I don't think the chemistry is), but they just can't put things together.

Well when you can't hit jack on offense and then you commit a ton of turnovers to boot you're not going to win. They came out and did much better in the 2nd half, but why couldn't they have played the same way in the first half? It has to be something with the pre-game preparation. The coaching staff needs to do a better job getting guys ready to go. But the players they also need to take pride and be more prepared for the game- it's bogus that you're getting paid a ton of $ to play ball and you don't come out of the gate mentally ready and sharp. The Clippers are now something like 0-13 for the first game of back-to-backs. That's just *RIDICULOUS*. It has to be a mental thing. Guys who are just not ready for the first games should not start in future game ones of back to backs. They need to stay on the bench until they're mentally into it, period. Chris Kaman is a prime example here. You can't fault his effort but he just hasn't been sharp on these road games- someone else who has the energy AND focus needs to be out there instead. I mean a bad start in a road game and you're pretty much done. The Clippers collectively must have better focus during the first halves of road games.
