RealGM has a poll up: "Did Brand act unethically by signing with the Sixers?"
realgm.com/
I encourage everybody to vote. The more bad press Brand gets, the better, as it will signal to players not to pull off these kinds of stunts in the future. |

Pretty much the same thing Brand did. Boozer opted out to sign a new contract with the Cavs. Not sure if they were looking to get help for him. He verbally said he would like to stay like Brand did and Utah offered him more money and he jumped ship.
That in a nut shell |

| Brand is even worse. At least Boozer did it for the $. Brand didn't We matched Philly. He just wanted to leave and I think he has a vendetta |

That poll shows a majority of people saying he wasn't in the wrong (56%).....are kidding me. Last i checked everyone was still pissed. Must be all east coaster or something like NY, NJ, PA, CT, VT, and MA..if you know your states |

See, the thing is:
I can see why people around the country (including sportscasters who aim to be PC) dont think the Brand departure was that bad. They dont understand why Clipper fans are so upset. But they've never been a true Clipper fan. They should try being that for once and then they'd feel the betrayal and heartbreak. It's really all perspective. |

| Most people think that it was dishonerable. I dont know if you guys know who skip bayless is but i hate him and he says he thought brand was one of the few classy acts in the game now he lost all respect for him. |

| I thought Boozer was LET OUT of his contract so the Cavs could resign him for a better contract, not that he opted out. I may be wrong, but I remember thinking what Boozer did was way worse. |

| I still think its all Falk's fault. Even Dunleavy said he doesn't know what poisoned him so much that he would turn the way he did. Falk is also Cassell's agent. |

| ^^Partly I think- but ultimately Brand is an adult and ultimately it was his decision, however influenced he was by his agent. |
