All the evidence that Brand KNEW he wasnt gonna return
1.in the press conference the Sixers Gm said that David Falk gave him specific homework to do in the negotiations process (i.e. how to free cap space for brand by trading carney away) .
2.brand later says he was thinking of philly since last season and that he called falk at 12:01 saying "philly didnt call?" (wiht a huge smile mind you)
3. they discuss him coming back for the last 8 games and how important it was for other teams to see how well he could come back from this injury. it proves brand didnt "owe it to the clipper fans" like he said...he wanted to prove that he cud play...
Its very sad that he lied to all of us. Why didnt we hear he was considering them at least for this past week? maggette told us he was probably going to leave, elton CONTINUED to say I intend to return. They offer nothing but a fuzzy picture of why the clippers offer didnt work...
I Hate Elton Brand. Not for leaving, but for lying. |

| what brand did is inexcusable, leaving a team is natural a way of the nba, but lying to fans? people who were already setting their lineups with him and davis in them? sad, just sad |
