Post subject: No Respect- ESPN ranks Eric Gordon #23 among Rookies

David Thorpe of ESPN gave the Clippers and their players the usual lack of respect by ranking Eric Gordon #23 among all of the rookies, citing his lack of team work in his opening summer league game. He failed to mention that Eric was leading the league in scoring when he left for injury. He failed to mention that Eric went to the free throw line 21 times in his first two games. Yet he ranked some players ahead of him that hadn't played yet or opened by scoring in single digits. Geez, is this guy going to eat crow some day.

Yeah I really don't understand how these analysts have their jobs. Their have zero logic when they do their rankings. Rose is number 6 but I think we can all agree he was nothing special this summer league. Oden hasn't even played yet he's number 2....
Though I think this may of been made before summer league or right at the start but again the reasoning behind it all makes no sense. |

| I am not sold on Gordon, but even I think that 23 is way too low for him to be ranked. |

| How come every time I read an espn piece on Eric Gordon, they compare him to Ben Gordon? I don't think they're comparable at all, I've never seen ben gordon take anybody off the dribble |

| After reading his analysis he said that his rating dropped because of his poor shot selection. Gordon was actually pretty high on his books at one time. It dropped because in his eyes its not that the shots were not going in but they were shots he should not be taking. But he still thinks he has a solid chance to move up once he heals. Mainly depends on accurate his court and shot awareness are. |

they are not comparable but i have seen ben gordon take people off the dribble multiple times...
eric is a 1-2
ben is a 2-3
people are comparaing the 2 role that both play, but they dont understand the differences outweight the similarities... |

well I hope EG sees this article, cuz we all know what happened to our beloved rookie, A-Thorn when we was dissed from playing in the rookie game....All Rookie 1st Team BABY!!!! thaz top 5...and actually top 3 in my mind for ROY...
EG is da truth...I told my roommate, who is a sorry ass Warriors fan, that if the Clips don't atleast draft OJ Mayo, Bayless, or Eric Gordon, if one of them were available to us this year, then i would STOP being a Clippers fan....he kept saying the mocks had us gettin Danilo...No more Euros, or Russians for that matter, after that sorry Russian we took, and left Danny Granger, someone we actually were high on. |

| Yeah the guys is just barley 6-3 no way he's a 3. Never would play the 3. Livingston is 4 inches taller than Gordon. |
