I'd prefer to have some other players instead of him...Maybe as our third option for the SF backup would be fair. |

| i guess......im hoping we could somehow get ricky davis. but i think he would demand more than what we can give him. also, i dont think he would want to be a sixth man......i really want us to sign darius miles...i think he can still score.we should give him a chance. |

| We should not sign Ricky Davis. Anyone who pays attention to the NBA for the last 5 years has seen how he does nothing but cause trouble on his teams. He wants to be the man on his team, but his teams never win. We dont need that here. |

Yes. Ricky Davis can be defined with two words: selfish and loser. |

hello, im a clippers fan from denmark. i've been visiting your forum reguarly for some time now, and now i've registered.
i think kirk snyder would do nicely as a SF backup on the team.
i've searched a bit about him could be described as a role-player with good energy and defence, and he runs good off the ball. don't forget he turned 25 recently.
in june Timberwolves said this:
Update: Minnesota did not make a qualifying offer to Snyder, making him an unrestricted free agent, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Analysis: While Synder had a nice showing with Minnesota after coming over from Houston, the T-Wolves don't want to sign him to any kind of long-term deal since he'd be a role player.

| I agree, I like Snyder as the backup. Between him and TT backing up Al, we cover several different line-up options (which MDsr likes). This should leave enough money for Shaun (maybe). |

Its okay bro. Welcome to the site. Dont worry about your writing sometimes we do the same thing. And i like snyders d, but I still think we need a shooter of the bench instead of another slasher. Or someone capable of both. |

disagree, we need another BIG, even though every team needs more shooters; we have a GREAT outside shooter in Tim Thomas when hes not asked to play the 4 or 5 because of Kaman and Eltons injuries. Thomas will have a much better year this yaer as a 6th man type role as he was in Pheonix.
Plus we just drafted a gifted shooter in Eric Gordon who is not a 3 obviously but will open up things with the ability to down outside shots all around the parimeter.
Tim Thomas,Cat Mobley,Baron Davis and Eric Gordon (who showed amazing range in college), are all above avg outside shooters IMO |

I've been vouching for this guy. But people are throwing out names like Ricky Davis(headcase), Robert Horry(fossil), Michael Finley(fossil), Kwame Brown(huh?), Gordan Giricek(vet minimum at most). Bonzi's the only other guy I'd want.
With either Bonzi or Snyder, we're solid at the wing positions. Let's do it. |

My wish list:
For $3M
1. Kirk Snyder - He's young, athletic and can hit the three.
2. Bonzi Wells - Strong, scores from the low-post, can rebound, doesn't hate Dunealvy.
3. Ricky Davis - He can't be any worse then Rubben Patterson.
For the Min.
1. Theo Ratlif - Can play backup minutes at the 4/5, still blocks shots.
2. Devin Brown - a little offense, a little defense.
3. Kareem Rush - Can hit the 3. |

Anyone know what is going on with singleton? he did not look too bad in summer league and i checked and did not see him on dallas' roster. is he still available?
Singleton would actually fit the position perfectly. It's too bad Dunleavy hates him for whatever reason, he could help quite a bit
Sorry you guys, i disagree, he doesn't have the same explosivness he had with the clippers. Doesn't jump like before |

| The team picked up choice #3 from my first wish list, Ricky Davis. I'm hoping they pick up #1 from my second choice: Theo Ratlif. Or at least some other veteran big. |

| The reason that I think the Clippers should pursue him is because DeAndre Jordan won't make the greatest backup center. Carl Landry has loads of potential, and he averaged 5 points and 5 rebounds on the stacked Rockets. If the Clippers can get Carl Landry I think that every position will have depth. |

Yeah, the Rockets are going to match the offer unless we give him big bucks, which unfortunately, we can't. I'd rather have us get Elton Brown.
