Again in his initial pass he had Paul's "value" @ 140 mil. It's a mistake (they do happen) that will be corrected as stated.

Fab Melo got waived by Memphis, he would be a better pick up over keeping Davies for example. At the least he is an excellent shot blocker, and he was the 21st pick last season, so he can't be awful, but he played for Doc and couldn't get any minutes, so I don't know if Doc is interested in him.

^^That's an interesting idea Agent- looks like Fab Melo made the all-defensive first-team for the D-League last season, even blocked 14 shots in one game there. He is a center though, so not sure if he could keep up with the more agile PF's. Also very poor FT shooting as well. Sounds like a less-experienced DeAndre Jordan:

Does anyone have a list of FA still available and those who signed overseas?

i like the idea of fab melo. The guy has all sorts of potential, and with a second season under doc he may be more well tuned. I'm all for it over davies. We don't need any more offensive players, defense never hurts to stock pile

I'm all for a Fab Melo signing.

I'm brazilian, and I've been following Fab for some time. I have friends who even played against him when he was back here. The guy is just awful. Please, don't.

Yup, read up on Melo, and said to be terrible on all accounts, including supposedly quite bad work ethic. So yea, Clippers won't gain anything from him this season or at the least for another 3 years

"Free agent forward Louis Amundson has sparked interest from several teams, including the Lakers and Clippers, according to his agent, Mark Bartlestein. Bartlestein said in an interview with the Los Angeles Newspaper Group that his client plans to finalize a deal with a team within the week, though he wouldn't go into exact specifics what role and terms would best suit Amundson ... Amundson had meetings with the Lakers and Clippers and even worked out at the team's respective facilities in recent weeks, but it remains unclear if he winds up playing in Los Angeles"

Given that the trend lately has been for free agents to choose the Clippers over the Lakers, I say Clippers.

It doesn't help the Lakers's case that they're currently in a quasi-rebuilding mode.

Jamison is fully capable of being our back up PF. We should only sign Odom if he is 100% capable of playing the C spot for us. We don't need a player who can play positions 3-5 anymore.

Lou Amundson got waived a few hours ago. I guess that's the start of players that'll be cut in the coming week (including SJax). Not saying we should resign Amundson, but it should be noted that his services are now once again available if need be. Only had 6 or 7 truly impactful games for the Pelicans since Davis returned far earlier than was expected. Did however have a 4 game stretch earlier this month where he averaged 7 rpg playing less than 17 minutes a game. That's elite Reggie Evans-esque in terms of rebounding in a small sample size. Just a heads-up.

Why aren't we looking at d league? Big guy Jarvis Varnado was a monster at Miss St. Stats in d league good. Big scorer, NO. But a tough guy who is strong, can block shots and board. Heck, YES!

No more CP buddies! Steven Jackson was sitting on the couch like I am and Clips pick him up AND play him? Oh my!

I've thought this before too! But I guess teams with championship aspirations don't usually call up a player from the d-league because there's more of a risk associated with them. They're unproven and there's a gamble relying on a player that's never even played in the league compared to a veteran with years of experience and a championship ring like Stephen Jackson. Still think there's something to say about observing talent and ability over experience alone. There are definitely some beast Bigs in the D-League running NBA TV recently. Worth looking at I think

some potential talent in the d-leauge

might be worth a look

Who was the last D-leaguer that actually panned out? Especially finding a big man through the D-league is almost impossible, but I feel Gary Sacks is a good judge of talent, maybe he could possibly find a youngster, but I doubt it.

finding a big man in the d league is rare but Danny Green and Jeremy Lin both had there stint in the d-league. I'm not saying that these players have that capability of being stars but i wouldn't mind trying to give one of them a chance.

Gerald Green lived in the D League, look at him now working for the Suns.

D leaguers play with a chip on their shoulder, like they have something to prove. That can be very helpful for our team

I'm all for it, rather a d leaguer than too many over the hill vets that can't ever buy a bucket or finish at rim.

True, but the guy was a first round pick. He was in the D-League because of other things not related to pure talent.

Those are the guys one might try to look for.

Eric Dawson? About 6'9. Dude averaged 17.2 points, 10.7 rebounds last year in the D-League. This year 15.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, 1.2 blocks. Also 79% ft shooter.

You mean Hedo? He's worth considering, but only if he's bought out and can be signed as a free agent.

We need to sign Gilbert Arenas and waive Wayns. Gilbert just said last week he's eyeing a comeback. Plus will be better than Wayns while CP3 is out.

Arash Markazi: Two possible point guard options for the Clippers playing in China are Delonte West and Bobby Brown.

Last year we had a tribe called bench. This year we might have The Crazies staring Barnes, Jackson, and West

Lol at Arenas or Delonte, put Odom in that mix and we could have the most dysfunctional bench ever.

Now that we have waived Maalik Wayns, when is the last day that we can waive/trade Jackson for someone else (10th?) without guarantee his salary? That is if someone would take him

How does this help us? We need a PG and/or another Big...we are already 3 deep at SF and have a similar guy in Jamison?!

As long as Hedo hasn't lost his shot, he would be better than SJ

West is one of those guys like Eddie House where when he's motivated he's a beast off the bench. If not motivated he will chuck and detonate team chemistry. Have always liked Bobby Brown. Was a hell of a college guy who never got a fair shot because he was viewed as a combo guard.

Actually Hedo is 6'10 and can play PF and has played a ton of PG for the Magic. Ideally he's perfect.....BUT, that's taking into account he's as good as he was a couple of years ago which I highly doubt.

I'd rather have a true PG and then sign Bynum, you don't need a great PG to dump it into Bynun in the post.

Bynum and Hedo sounds good too. Addressing our rebounding and shooting

Ehhh I would not say he played a TON of PG...he did handle the ball a decent amount, but that does not replace having a backup PG, which we do not have right now. And yes, he is 6'10'', but it doubt he is going to be any better than Jamison on D as a PF.

I also have serious doubts about his fitness, he was going downhill before the injuries. He has been eating too much pizza, including during halftime of games...

This!I would love that combo joining the Clips right about now.
