And Hedo would be useful once Paul comes back unlike any PG we sign. I'm just so iffy on Hedo. He might be just what we need or he could be a pile of trash. It's risky.

Bynum and Hedo are both risky investment that could yield huge rewards. We know Bynum can play in limited roles but there's a fear of the unknown about hedo. I don't know what kind of talent evaluator we have but they gotta monitor his work out and see if he'll pan out. So far our GM/scouts have failed miserably in putting this team together. They're bound to get something right since they've struck out the last two years

Failed miserably?? When Redick was healthy the offense looked incredible. I still think that when healthy, the talent we have is a great mesh and could compete for a title.

can we sign him on a 10 day contract?

Better than having Mullens or Hollins who were 100% guaranteed to be trash lol.

Yes Failed Miserably.

Chose to sign Turiaf and Hollins instead of Reggie

Gamble on Odom

Not resigning Young. That was last year.

This year-

Overpaid Matt Barnes. Gotta learn to let talent go if they're too expensive.,look at the spurs they let Neil go even though he did well in the finals. They got a cheaper and more versatile Belinelli.

Resigned Hollins and Mullen- did not pan out as we have no legitimate back up big.

Sold Bledsoe and Caron's expiring contract at an all time low.

Jj is balling but a JJ and Bledsoe swap really fair? That's what it looks like since Caron was simply better than Dudley.

So yea Gary Sucks hasn't done a fairly good job in evaluating talent. Hopefully he'll pulls a rabbit out of the hat with the looming trade deadline.

IMO we should go after Pierre Jackson of the D-League. Pelicans own his rights, but we could probably get him for cheap.

Things sure are easy in hindsight. Mullens turned out to be a huge bust, and all of us would have killed to have a better back-up big. Other than that, I thought the moves were all pretty good. It sounds cliche, but we have yet to see what this group could do. It is too bad CP got hurt because it is really going to hinder us getting to where we need to be, but there may still be time.

Still going to suck on D which is what matters especially Mullens. Hollins can be a serviceable 3rd stringer I guess.

Good signing for our needs NOW. 10 day contract I would think.

Now release Jackson and get a big.....who's played some minutes THIS year, lol.

I wonder if we just use up all our 10 day contracts on PG's till Chris comes back and never actually sign one. That's what I'd do. I think you only get 3 10-day contracts

I think that would be the way to go too. Save the "Big" contract for a big or 2.

This Darius Morris --- wasn't he with the Lakers last year? Don't know too much about him. I hope he can fill in well at the PG position.

I wonder if all this talk about Hedo was to scare our small forwards into playing better basketball? lol

Why not hold onto Jackson? He's still not completely in shape and he has championship experience. He's a solid big body that can still defend a little. I still have hope that he can produce, especially if he finds his 3 ball.

Because he's not a productive player anymore and even IF he gets his 3 ball back, he wasn't a very good shooter from there anyway. Good teammate I guess, but that's not what we really need...time to move on.

I think with Morris, we have to look optimistically at his college career because his pro career isn't too impressive (although his 3 point % wasn't bad...depending on how many he actually attempted...really don't know much about him).

I hate that he was a Lakers but I actually like the signing. He gives effort on D,is a solid passer, and his shooting is improving. Not my first choice but not bad.He is still young and if he looks good we can sign him and develop him slowly. He is a player that I don't think would complain about his playing time unlike vets like Delonte West,Turkoglu, etc.

I liked Ike Diogu when he played for us, but I haven't seen him play since the Olympic Games when he was on Team Nigeria.

forget a big man. I say sign either andre miller or kirk hinrich.

I like the idea of running 2 PGs at the same time

Nuggets want to trade Miller unless they will waive him

I know some people hate picking up former Lakers, but Shawne Williams who they waived because of the whole guaranteed contract issue is actually not that bad. He's not that good, but not that bad either.

...but then he can't play C, lol

The dude's shooting 37% from the field, that's rough.

Mullens isn't even shooting that bad.

This is true, but at least he can defend properly. He's know for being a physical defender and a guy who brings it on defense. So he has value outside of his numbers production (or lack thereof).

He was looking decent form that aspect with the Lakers.

Hey guys I've been checking this site out for years I've been a true clippers fan since I was like 7

I just read on hoopshype that the rockets are calling teams about D BO I can't spell his name out but I would rather have him than. Bynum

I want Sasha for the laughs but as far as targets another target big would be nice. Get Turk and Bynum.

I don't know what you liked about him, he was super trash,

and a waste of space.

He was a ball hog without the skills to back it up.

Ike has always been a pretty skilled offensive player. Injuries have been the bigger issue with him throughout his career than anything else. It is true that passing is not a skill he possesses, but he could certainly score effectively.

Ike Diogu 6'8, can't jump, can't play "D", Can't really help.

What in the World is going on in the NBA "Tonight"

G-Hayword just gave OKC the Business Posted 35+ on KD, Turn around, Step Back "j's", Crossover Step Backs, he's was killing the game.

ESPN you Dissapoint me with that KD 40+ headline, you saw those last 5 min KD was M.I.A.

Clip's might wana inquire about that GH kid.

Welcome, and I think you are talking about Donatas Motiejunas. He is a young talented 7 footer but like Mullens he plays like a small forward in a centers body. Not a very good rebounder or defender, and his shooting numbers are down from last year.I wouldn't mind getting him as a project but I don't know what the Rockets want in return.

According to the Los Angeles Times "The Clippers initially had an interest in signing former Laker, free-agent guard Sasha Vujacic to a 10-day contract but have cooled on that idea for now, the officials said." Our options are dropping fast.

Haven't read anything on Clippers interest. With his 7'3 wingspan and willingness to defend, even though he's not specifically efficient, he still has the ability to hit outside shots, he would be a nice change in terms of big men coming off the bench.

If he was also a high efficiency guy couple with those other things, then he wouldn't be as easy to acquire.

Also, while he only shoots 37.7 FG, 78% of his FG attempts are 3's where he is shooting a mediocre 32.7%, so his FG% needs to be put in context. His TS% is not good at .500, but again, it's more about his ability to defend than any great offensive skill he would bring. Just take smart shots, hit enough where you aren't atrocious, don't turn the ball over and play defense.

If he was so good, he wouldn't likely be an available player

As long as Doc doesn't use him in a Steve Novak offense like what he did with Mullen, he'll thrive in this system. He can be a poor big baby on offense shooting open 15 footers.
