I wouldn't trade miles for dj.:.why should Phoenix?
Why wouldn't they? Both are the same age but DJ has more experience, strength, and athletic ability. Also Plumlee is not the defender, rebounder,or shot blocker that DJ is.He isn't bad at those things but he isn't as good as DJ is.Both are offensively challenged and poor free throw shooters.I like Plumlee a lot because he is a hard worker but I think you are really under estimating how good DJ was defensively this year. ....

That is pretty despicable to pull that - I though gentry was better than that. Now they will copy our offense. Like it or not they look to take a major step forward while we are not. This is so depressing ....

Dick move by Gentry for sure, but his "great" offense sure did look like **** most games against that "horrible coach" Mark Jackass' defense in the playoffs. We just need another assistant with experience running the motion offense... maybe someone from the Spurs? And Lawrence Frank is coming to shore up the defense. ....

I'm hearing Ettore and Lawrence as assistants right now. Good O and D. Gentry was probably just salty because Ty Lue whooped his ass for the Cleveland job. He probably was like I do not want to be on the same bench as that guy. Well it hasn't even been confirmed so it all could be wack. ....

I think we need Collison more than we need Shumpert. Iman really is only beneficial to us in a small ball lineup. He's not a good enough scorer to take either of our SG's minutes away and he's too small to guard SF's. If we trade Jamal I'd consider this,....

Ahhh Collison was a great regular season backup PG. In the postseason he had one good game. He scored 1 point in Game 5 against OKC which were 1/2 from the FT line. We lost that game by 1! We were leading by 7. I think there are better options , but who knows. Maybe he comes back better or something. I think Patty Mills may be the best. I'd honestly try to go for him. Collison was great though ....

We want to be able to throw him on Curry or Westbrook instead of CP having to guard all those guys. That way Chris can have energy O. Would you really want to put JJ or Jamal or Curry, Westbrooks, Lillard, etc? No. I'd put Shumpert on them in a heartbeat.

We need a defender that can guard Kawhi, Durant, Parson, James, George, Batum...etc those are the players that we really have no answer for ATM.
I don't see it as hiding him, but resting him. I am nit saying have Chris competely stop guarding those guys ,....

UnCool: This is huge if its true! Now I say use Full MLE on a very solid defensive SF, and the BAE on a backup big... hopefully move Duds for another backup big, and let's go! So I guess so Jquick. I do not know how the Opting in and out and how contract situations work ....

I don't see it as hiding him, but resting him. I am nit saying have Chris competely stop guarding those guys , but he doesn't need to go his entire 35+ minutes of playing time guarding those guys and be too tired to give us anything on offense. Imagine guarding Westbrook for 37 minutes then in closing seconds of winning a game you feel you can rest and you try to make a smart play that would give you more....

That press conference was a debacle.... way out of character for Riley. He even took a shot at LeBron by insinuating that he "doesn't have guts." I think he's found out the bad news that LeBron's leaving AND he's on the hook for $40 mil for a decrepit Wade over the next two years. That's the only good explanation for his meltdown. ....

More flexibility, less security... Our GM/FO has to figure out a clever way to get us over the cap. By my calculation that brings our salary to $70,230,844, ($65,980,844 if we can dump Dudley) and next seasons cap will be about $63.2 million and the tax level is projected to be $77.0 million. ....

Chris Paul like Kobe without a ring really didn't care about the team's financial situation if he really wanted to win, he should have signed for less. It's not like he just came from his rookie contract. That's why. Tim Duncan is one of a kind and truly the most unselfish player out there.....

The 3 SF we had was....Dudley, Barnes and Granger. But with Granger opting out looking for a payday, he is likely not to return if someone is willing to pay him. That leaves Dudley and Barnes. I'd prefer barnes coming off the bench with Pierce starting. Then dump Dudley's salary in a trade, waive or release, then your talking....

Not to hung on Jabari Parker just yet. The NBA is totally different from the collegiate level. I'm not just yet ready to crown him as a star. His shooting is alittle suspect and once scouted, like all NBA players do then they will shut him down.....

Danny Granger, Glen Davis, and Darren Collison are all opting out of their contract. Danny Granger expressed interest in coming back to the Clippers, Collison and Davis did not express such interest. I think we should resign Granger. He played great and I think our system both defensively and offensively fits him perfectly. Just want to have money to get other significant players to help out the team. My hopeful lineup for the 2014-15 season. PG: Chris Paul, Shaun Livingston/Mo Williams/Kirk....
