We have all been posting here and there about potential players and prospective lineups. Now that we've acquired Camby and Signed Jordan and Taylor, let's take a look at our new team since not too much will change from hereafter:
Davis/Knight/Taylor
Mobley/Gordon
Thornton/Thomas
Camby
Kaman/Jordan
Bottom line, we have a weird team. But, I kind of like it. This season is going to be interesting. We are in a win-now/rebuilding mode situation.
We only have a couple of bad contracts, and the good thing is they will expire soon. David mentioned in another post that not only will it be great that Thomas/Mobley/Camby come off the books in '10, but they will be valuable assets in '09 because of their expiring contract status. Also, hopefully we can get some great production from Knight since he will be in a contract year.
However, I hate talking/hoping about the future, so I do wish that we are a great team next season. It will be interesting. I think the Camby move is not the best or the worst. It's safe, and it shows the FO is not taking any chances. Trying to maintain a solid team while giving flexibility to add future depth. |
